Diners are pampered in style at this elegant Brentwood Italian restaurant.
Beaded lampshades and a copper-framed pizza oven cast a warm glow, and the air rings with the buzz of business deals and murmurs of romance. Despite an affluent, high-tipping clientele, the atmosphere remains low-key. Highly efficient servers gesticulate wildly while listing specialties in heavy Italian accents. Menu items include bocconcini salad with burrata, salmon carpaccio; spinach-ricotta ravioli in pomodoro sauce; and grilled branzino with spinach and potatoes. Dessert features classics like tiramisu and chocolate-covered strawberries.

"We had a reservation at Toscana but decided to go to Toscana Bar (Adjacent to Toscana) for a drink prior to dinner. They have an exciting bar menu. Bartender is great! When it was time to move next door to Toscana, it was feeling a bit stuffy and we were really enjoying the more informal setting of Toscana Bar. They also have their own menu, which is slightly less expensive as they have "small plates". You can also order off Toscana's menu. In any case, the food was outstanding as well as the service.

"Toscana is great if you go often enough to get special treatment from the Maitre D, if not be prepared to have your table given away to favoured customers and be kept waiting. The food and service at the table was however all it is hyped up to be. The building and decor leave a lot to be desired, I would recommend it to diners 50+"

"Cute little restaurant in Brentwood. I was skeptical about the location as it appears to be in an office building, however the restaurant itself was elegant and cozy. Food was wonderful - I recommend the seafood salad (warm shrimp, squid, octopus, clams and mussels) and the spaghetti with marinara. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente and the sauce was fresh and tasty. Overall, a very positive experience. I will be back when I return to California. PS - if you keep your eyes open you may spot a few celebrities."
