"Step above the typical neighborhood restaurant - Andiamo's is both a destination restaurant and "the place around the corner." Has small town ambiance with big city cuisine. However, it's a small family owned restaurant and I've noticed on several recent visits that they become very overwhelmed when large parties book there. They don't seem to be able to handle large parties or tables and kind of "shut down" - noise becomes overwhelming, service goes out the window and quality of food goes down since it seems all the restaurant staff is thrown asunder by trying to handle large groups. Very chaotic - we were completely ignored in favor of a bachelorette party.

"We went to Andiamo for our wedding anniversary. We were given a table in the back corner - which made having a conversation easy. The restaurant was not busy, so we could have had any table we wanted, I suppose. My wife loves good Italian food, so we were not disappointed. We ordered the antipasti plate - and both agreed this was the best antipasti plate we have had in Washington. A great selection of tastiness, and a generous portion. We weren't finished with the antipasti when our dinner came - so service was speedy.
I had the chiopino (sp?) and it was amazing, a great seafood dish and the sauce was perfect. My wife had linguini and she enjoyed it as much as I loved my dish.
We will return to Andiamo - a great find!"

"We usually like food at this restaurant, dishes are really well prepared. In this visit there were some issues with the quality of preparation (I won't go into too many details).
Generally, its a very nice Italian restaurant in Bellevue downtown neighborhood.
Deserts was ok, Tiramisu was too sweet, we like it less sweet, this was too sweet for our taste."

"Great food that night, even though it was sort of limited being the set menu for Valentines Day. We were dining with our 11 and 14 year olds as the "boys" were taking Momma out for Valentines. Although most everyone else was a couple, we didn't feel uncomfortable. It was quite festive and food was delicious. Service was plenty fast, even though it was packed."

"Our first time at Andiamo's. We had dinner at Andiamo's on Valentine's Day. I was not aware of the set menue, but the food was good. What was dissappointing is that we were a party of 3, and were seated at a table for two, with one of us in the stuck in the middle of the pathway to other tables. Not only were we interrupted serveral times, by waiters and the manager, trying to seat other patrons, no-one appologized for the continuing interruptions, which really dampened the spirit of the evening."

"Situated at a busy street corner, Andiamo offers a chance to watch the local traffic while waiting for your dinner. Good thing too, because you will be waiting a bit. We got there at 5:45 and were the only people there for at least 20 minutes, and still it took a while before bread was brought to the table.
We ordered a salad and soup for appetizers, and those too took about 15 minutes to arrive. Our entrees were Spinach Raviolo and Veal Scaloppini Marsala. It was the strangest marala I ever had, as it had no mushrooms but did have capers.
Overall the experience was good, but we probably won't go there again"
