Pazzo is a new Italian restaurant in Red Bank serving a variety of traditional menu items, along with several unique family recipes and other creative fare.
"Treated my wife and Mom to Mother's Day dinner at Pazzos. First time at restaurant and was impressed - - we will be back! Outdoor dining was okay, but busy road diminished experience."

"We arrived and were seated immeditely for our reservation. The drinks were great and the appetizer special of Shrimp Scampi was delicious!! For dinner we had the Veal Chop and Red Snapper Francese. The Snapper was extremely tasty as well as the risotto that came with it. The Veal Chop was very tender. Their expresso was the best I ever had and for desert we had Affagato which was also delicious. The service was excellent. Will definitely go back."

"I asked our waiter 4 times for more butter to no avail. Finally, I asked the guy bringing out our food for some and received it immediately. The cesar salad that I paid 11.00 for had almost zero dressing on it and 98 percent of it was left on the plate. I didnt bother asking the waiter for more because I figured I'd have to ask several times. The chicken picata was very bland."

"Dinner was great. One of the few places around that has Rye Whiskey for Manhattans. We had the Filet and Parpadelle Bolognese. Both were very good. And we had the pleasure of meeting Lenny for the first time. Always a good experience."

"My daughter and I went to Pazzo and had a great dinner and bottle of wine. From the appertizer of fried eggplant topped with fresh mozzarella to are dinner's of veal piccata and shrimp oreganata over linsguine. Our server was friendly and greated us with a smile. I would highly recommend Pazzo."

"We eat at Pazzo often and really like it. Food is always good. We had plans to attend Two River Theater at 8pm and had a 6pm reservation for dinner. Waiter did not have his act together and kept having to chase him down. Finally, I had to get up at 7:15 when our dinner did not arrive and talked to the manager. He said a large party had come in late and we got caught up in the kitchen back up. We had to gobble down our dinner and barely made it to theater on time. Bottom line is that manager did the right thing and gave us a certificate for our next visit, so we are fine with the restaurant. This is still of Gem of a restaurant and we will be back."

"This was our second time at Pazzo and both times the food was excellent. My only issue with this visit was the service. There were 4 girls at the front reception and they were very disorganized. They sent us to the bar to wait for our table and we had to go back to them to ask if our table was ready....we were told they were sorry but they had forgotten about us. Our waiter was also not very attentive at all. He would pass our table of empty drink glasses and dishes 3 or 4 times to service a larger party before he would come back to us. This will not deter us from going back again but they really need to focus on being more organized with the large crowds they get."

"Went to Pazzo during restaurant week with a group of friends for drinks and dinner. Their restaurant week prix fixe menu was the most extensive of all the participating restaurants and the food was really well prepared (and plentiful). Ambiance was nice. Bar was cozy. Will definitely return again this summer."

"Pazzo is a great Italian restaurant for a Saturday night. Its a pretty big place so you'll rarely have to wait. The servers are friendly and the food comes out quick. The portions are just the right size and the food is good. It is a little pricey compared to other Italian places that I've been to but if you're going out in the area its worth it. Not amazing but I will definitely go back."

"We really like this restaurant. This last visit was Jersey Shore Restaurant Week. We looked at the special menu on-line and liked it. After the hostess seated us, she only gave us the regular menu. I said very politely to her, I thought you were participating in restaurant week. She looked at us like we had 10 heads and said you want "that menu". We said yes-she was not happy. After about 5 min. she came back with it. We ordered from it and it was wonderful Just didn't get her!"

"We found this restaurant to be very good. Close parking available which is a bonus in redbank. Our appetizers were excellent. Beef carpaccio was very tasty. Lots of good seafood choices and the pasta bolognese was outstanding. The wine list by the glass was disappointing but certainly liveable. Would go back!"

"We dined early as we were going to the theater. The service and the food were quite good. I ordered the grilled lamb chop special and it was huge (I had to take half of it home)but definitely good. Restaurant seems to have a busy bar scene, but it wasn't noisy and we were able to have nice dinner. We will definitely be back."

"Food was great. Had an app special Shrimp Scampi Crostini - was delicious. Also had pasta special Linguine Neptune (Shrimp, Lump Crab, Tomato, Spinach, Garlic) - was excellent too. Wife had a Seared Tuna special over mushroom risotto and asparagus. Very good- could tell it was sushi-grade tuna. Also dug in to the kids' leftover mac and cheese- wish I had ordered more of that too! Overall, great dining experience and will return."

"I had mixed reviews about eating here because I had friends who had a bad experience (they ordered fish which they were told didnt have bones but had tons of bones). However, I REALLY enjoyed all the food I ate. I went on a Tuesday, it was fairly quiet, not that packed. We ordered the eggplant appetizer, filet mignon, and a pasta dish. Everything was delicious! service was also great. No complaints at all from me and will definitely eat there again. Only downfall is that its not a BYOB like many other restaurants in Red Bank."

"Although we have enjoyed Pazzo many times since its inception, the experience keeps getting better everytime. Whether its sitting in the dinning area or at the bar having drinks and apps after work, it's all good. Keep it up Pazzo, you're becoming a true destination place in Red Bank and the surrounding area. Also, try the muscles in white wine garlic for an appetizer, outstanding."

"While the food was pretty good, the restaurant demonstrates some bad choices. First, the Front Street entrance appears to be a main entrance, but it is closed and a sign directs patrons around to the rear forcing patrons to walk past trash cans. Once in the restaurant, the bar televisions face the dining area. Who wants to watch television when dining on a $30+ entree? Also, the open kitchen adds to the casual atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant seems to be at odds with the pricing. As I already stated, the food was good, although the salads were over-dressed, and the side dishes with the pork chop entree were not appropriate for the price (peppers from a jar and burger-quality fries)."

"I am sorry to say, that when I arrived with four of our party of six, that the host had seated the couple joining us, before we arrived. This was very unpleasant, also to find that we were seated at the worst table in the resurant right up agaist the kitchen.Everyone knows in your bussinss, that regardless if the couple were older or not, do not seat anyone before the whole party has arrived.I would have told the host to seat us at a better seating.I spoke to Stephanie earlier in the day, when se called me to confirm the resevation I also told her to give us separate checks which they did not. the owners were very gracious, and I did not want to put myself in an awkward position by saying anything, which would have been wrong on my part."

"The entire experience was top notch. The food was excpetional - the appetizer special was excellent. We both got very basic items (Chicken Parm and pasta bolognese) but there were just really well done - nothing basic about them! The desserts were AMAZING. We purposely sat a little while so that we could make room for them and they were completely worth it!! Our server was perfect and the whole night was spot on. We have been there before and we will absolutely go back! Well done!"

"First time here. The food was delicious. The wait for the food was 35 minutes, at lunchtime and it wasn't that busy. Wait staff was friendly and more than one person waited on us. Yes, I would come back allowing lots of time between first and second courses. The location is good as it is near a theater and away from the busy-ness of the more popular "downtown" area."

"Wife took me for my birthday. We were hoping to just grab two spots at the bar, but the bar was pretty busy since it was a Friday night. We got a high-top in the bar area instead, and that worked just fine. The food was very good. I had a beef wellington special which was a filet wrapped in phyllo, and served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The thing that made it so great for me though was the sauce - if i remember correctly it was a chocolate-balsamic combo. Really good. Wife had the pasta special which was a frutti di mare over linguine - the special touch there were in-shell langoustinos. Broth was light and garlicky and the pasta was done just right. After two bottles of wine, I can't remember the prices on the specials!"

"We arrived a half hour before our reservation with the intention of having a glass of wine at the bar. The hostess greeted us warmly, and directed us to the bar where we had a very nice pinot noir. Unfortunately, she forgot about our reservation (despite noting us in the computer and giving us a pager). After two trips to the podium and a timely "bump" into the manager, we were finally seated. (Won't hold it against them). Fortunately, the food was outstanding. We started with the scallops, which were cooked perfectly. Our entree's of a seared ahi tuna and veal chop were also prepared beautifully and delicious. We finished with the pizelle tower which was incredible. It was noisy, but bearable. Will definitey go back."

"We absolutely loved our entrees. I had the Chicken Piccata and my boyfriend had the Gamberoni Fra Diavolo. Both Delicious. We also ordered the stuffed artichoke for an appetizer, and we didn't know how to eat it. Our waitress didn't try and explain either..another male waiter saw us and was so great! He came over and showed us and even asked if we wanted something else since it seemed as if we didn't enjoy it. It was definitely delicious (well the inside! LOL) - But we were glad he offered the help.
Overall it was delicious. *Would love to see White Zinfandel on the menu! :)"
