"We fell in love from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. We went Styler's Garden Cafe for lunch because it was recommended by a friend. The atmosphere made the lunch date even more enjoyable. The cafe is inside of a greenhouse and the decor is wonderful. It took me a while to even open the menu because i kept looking around at the special touches. I knew our food was going to be amazing after the bread came out in a terracotta pot paired with whipped butter and flavored sea salt on top. The lunch was delicious and the service made you feel welcomed. Afterword we spent hours in "Terrain" which is the garden shop attached to the cafe. I can't wait to take a trip back..the hour and 20 minute drive is well worth it!!"

"Delightful ambiance! It is a greenhouse that is decorated such that it feels as though you are dining al fresco. We both ordered the Chef's Tasting menu. It was Ash Wednesday & they made special accommodations for me (no meat). They gave each of us 5 different courses so we were able to actually taste 10 different presentations. All were delicious! Service was excellent. BYOB - no corking fee. We forgot to take wine but there was a Wine and Spirits store across the parking lot so problem solved! It was snowing and we had a lovely view of the snow and the trees. It was hard to imagine that we were in a very suburban setting. It is attached to a wonderful gardening store but unfortunately we didn't have time to shop."

"I love this place ! It is our most favorite restaurant in the area.

"We made a reservation for Mother's Day brunch and knew it would be a very busy day to be there... I think Styer's spread themselves a little too thin. We were seated outside in very chilly, windy weather with no functioning heaters available. It took a while to get our food, it came out at uneven times, and it took several minutes to get the proper utensils to eat some of it. The food was decent, but the cappuccino I ordered was pretty much all foam. When we were finished, my children and I left my poor husband outside to wait for the check. He ended up waiting several more minutes before he could settle up and leave. We usually love Styer's but won't be back on Mother's Day. It was not the relaxing experience this mom was hoping for."

"I took a group of 7 for Saturday Brunch (my bridal luncheon). Make a reservation early as they do book up quickly. It's BYOB so we brought our own Sangria and started with the Cheese Platter - highly recommeneded! The service was good considering that it was so busy and the food was fresh and delicious as always. Be sure to try the coffees, teas and/or spritzers! The atmosphere is always my favorite - who doesnt love a sunny brunch or romantic dinner in a greenhouse. All of the ladies were very pleased and noted that they would all be returning to try dinner!"

"Food was good, but portions were small. We could barely see the fish in our entree. Asked for a substitution which included more vegetables and it never arrived. Service was friendly, but lacking. I do not mind paying higher prices for food as long as there is enough food on the plate and it is exceptional. Our food was lacking in both categories. We will not return."

"We picked this restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 27th birthday and couldn't have chosen a better place. Everything about our dining experience was magical right down to the perfect weather enabling us to dine outside under the stars and white lights. Our food was wonderful; interestingly prepared and beautifully served. We loved the hot bread and pepper butter served in a terra-cotta pot. And, we appreciated being able to bring our own wine. While we knew we were right on Baltimore Pike, once inside the grounds, we felt like we were a million miles away at a vacation destination. Make sure you go early to enjoy the shopping experience at Terrain! We can't wait to go back!"

"I love eating in the "greenhouse" at Styer's. It is romantic and rustic at the same time. They always do a great job of bringing in local, seasonal, fresh food and the menu is constantly changing and innovative. With that being said, I thought our meal was a little heavy on the spring baby greens and pea tendrils on every dish. No other vegetables. How about asparagus or favas? The mushroom soup was out of this world though. Right out of Kennett Square."

"This is one of my favorite places. The ambiance is beautiful, set in a vintage greenhouse. I most recently went for dinner, but prefer going for brunch when the sun is shining into the space. It's BYOB, which is great too. On the downside, the service was rather slow and it took a long time for our food to arrive. Also, there was disappointment from one of our party when they ran out of one of the entrees. The food, when it did arrive was delicious, as usual."

"I love the food at The Garden Cafe at Terrain and the atmosphere. It is one of my favorite restaurants. However, this time the amount of Trout served was a joke. I can't imagine what a man would have thought. The food was delicious but I received 2 very small and thin pieces of trout. It was very thin as well, not much thicker than the skin. My friend ordered the same but well done. I think mine was more well done. The ramps should have been cut they were hard to cut or bite but tasty. The apple cobbler was a liitle too sweet. The cinnamon bourbon bread pudding was delicious! The meal was delicious overall but very skimpy on the fish for the price."

Our dinner last night was awesome. The ambiance is for sure one of the most amazing places to dine in...hands down! The Chef's Tasting, as recommended by our attentive and very professional waiter (Chris), was very, very creative and satisfying. If you want a night out that will literally let you "drift away" and escape reality for a brief moment in time...this is def the spot. The very attentive waitstaff was an added bonus, as we enjoyed the multiple personalities that touched our table throughout the evening. As for value, at $50/pp for the Chef's Tasting, you can't go wrong. High quality ingredients. Plus, it's a BYOB so you don't have to worry about a bar bill that would exceed your food bill (if you dine like us!)"

"Glad we tried the Garden Cafe. It was different (just what we were looking for), the atmosphere was outstanding---but the portions were a bit small and prices were high. Our server was very sweet and answered all of our questions. Once the entree was served, however, she dropped off the radar. We finally ordered dessert and then waited over 20 minutes for it to arrive. Glad we tried this restaurant, but doubt that we will return."

"I usually love Styer's but we had to wait over 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, so just be ready to wait (even if you made reservations) if you go during a popular time. We were there around lunch time on a Sunday. The cheese board was amazing as usual. It's also great for dinner when they turn the strings of lights on. I've been there for an anniversary too and it was perfect."

"We had a reservation for a Sunday brunch and still had to wait 45 minutes. 4 people ordered egg white omelets, but 2 of them came out incorrect as regular eggs. We did not send them back because we had already been eating for so long.
The restaurant has a great ambiance! The bread pot, and the mushroom soups were the 2 things that we thought were above average. The egg omelets were pretty standard.
This is a good place to go to switch up a brunch location, but make sure you have a reso. I would not recommend going here if you're in a rush. However, there is an endless list of great shops just across the street."

"Usually one of our favorite spots. But the menu changes regularly. It was quite heavy on the cheese this time which was included in most of the dishes. If you are lactose intolerant this would've been a problem. However they'll accommodate in changing the dishes to meet your liking. Portions tend to be small."

"Felt that it was not as good as previous visits. Felt that cutting corners. The portion sizes vary dramatically from ridiculously small to excessive. We were only given the same portion of bread for 4 as for tables of 2. My salad was literally 10 rocket leaves 2 shavings of fennel, 3 pieces of grapefruit and 2 thin slices of radish. Felt ripped off."

"I really wanted to give Terrain a higher rating. There lunch menu leaves a lot to be desired. The food is presented well and is of quality status; however, I do not want a 3 course lunch. They really need to have some lunch salads for those people who want a lighter but healthy protein option. A pile of field greens with a sprinkling of sunflower seeds and some shredded beets does not qualify for a nutritious option that comes with a high price tag. I might return for dessert and coffee but there are many other lunch places to choose from."

"My daughter and drove there from Collegeville for lunch on Friday. Its quite a drive for us but well worth it. We shared the cheese plate, it was pretty big for two people but we managed to clear it out. AMAZING! Our waitress was very nice and recomended the spring lamb burger as a new item on their menu. Again, AMAZING!"

"We had the Chef's choice. What a great dinning experience. The food was presented well and perfectly cooked. There was a variety of meats and fish in the presentation. Picky eaters may have a difficult time if they are unwilling to try something different. My favorite was the pork tenderloin follow by a perfectly cooked scallop. $50 ahead but worth the splurge"
