"Talisker would have to rate as our top dining experience in Park City and quite possibly one of the top 10 picks! We would highly suggest you make plans to enjoy this fantastic restaurant."

"Seating in the main dining room is cramped and the noise level high, so if you are looking for a special occasion/romantic dinner where you are not sharing conversations with your neighbor you should certainly specify. Menu is creative, service attentive but bordering on slow. When my steak came out well done instead of medium rare (as I order and the chef recommends), I sent it back and ended up watching everyone else eat for a good 5-10 minutes while another was grilled and plated. There is no way they did not know that meat was well done when it was coming out of the kitchen, but I guess that is on the diner to make sure orders are met. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Certainly a "must try", not necessarily a "must repeat"."

"Very creative menu. Excellent flavors and presentation. Enjoyed watching kitchen prepare dishes in near silence. Great service and wine recommendations. Best meal in Park City for both style and substance ( although sandwiches at Back Door Deli were awesome). Dining room a little cramped but it did not adversely affect the experience.
Tried pork belly, risotto, soup, veal, lamb and all three desserts. All excellent. Similar price points to Mariposa and the Farm, but enjoyed it a little more."

"Dinner was wonderful and a great experience. Veal and lamb dishes were great and the pistachio pudding was amazing. Awesome that you can bring your own wine. Looking forward to going back."

"We have previously enjoyed dining at Talisker. However, this time, we were seated in the main dining room, which was very noisy. The service was pretentious but not particularly knowledgeable. The menu is complex, but not in a way that comes together in an impressive final product. Perhaps they are having some growing pains but we will give it a pass for a year or two at least."

"We absolutely loved this restaurant! We have eaten at many five star restaurants and place this among the best. We highly recommend the dinner tasting menu. It starts off slow and has a great finish. The wine was high quality The service was excellent. The place is small and quaint. You are close to your fellow diners but somehow it didn't bother us. Overall my husband and and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Highly recommended!"

"Weird menu, salad was very very small, the dessert menu was weird and we did not order dessert. This is up last time going here fr dinner, there are many much better and lower priced places in town."

"Our meal at Talisker was fantastic. The two of us were seated in comfortable arm chairs in the wine room. Our server was excellent - pleasant, knowledgable and attentive. We both had the chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. Each course was, delicious, interesting and perfectly paired with the chosen wine. Highly recommended - we will return the next time we are in Park City."

"The food was very good, but the portions were small; in particular the steak was minuscule. The tables were jammed together. The noise level makes it hard to hold conversations. There are a lot better places in Park City."

"Overrated. Supposedly voted best restaurant in Park City. I was unimpressed. Service was a little sloppy, the restaurant is extremely cramped and small. Food a little too fussy and fails to impress."

"Leon our waiter was fabulous! He knew the menu items well and described them perfectly. He listened well to our description of our wine palate. He suggested the perfect wine for our dinner Caro from Argentia. We were also happy to see Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc on the menu. It was a very special meal and wonderful memories were made."

"Under the new chef, the menu has become more precious and esoteric than it used to be. The menu contains more obscure ingredients than known ones and the dishes do not stand for sophisticated, innovative comfort food the way they once did. The combinations are tasty, but challenging. We did not walk away as satisfied as we used to be after dining at Talisker on Main. The service is still attentive and the wine list outstanding. And anyone who does not know about the quiet room upstairs should definitely request it if they find the main dining room too noisy."

"Hostess staff was pretentious. Food was very good and creative but it was not worth the prices. Went there because of a WSJ recommendation. Not sure if worth a return. Adolph's was a better overall experience."

"Don't let the simplicity of the menu fool you-this is seriously complex delicious food. I was so aggravated by the seating conditions and the room that I was prepared for a miserable dining experience. The banquettes are way too low for the table height, the table layout necessitates the wait staff and patrons to be continuously bumping into and jostling diners, the room is very chilly due to a single entry door blasting cold air whenever it's open, and the tables are close enough to be inserted into your fellow diners' conversations. NOW,that all said, the food was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. We were disappointed not to find the foods that others recommended, but our selections were great! Loved the dairy-free dessert."

"We first dined at Talisker on Main a year ago and thought it was outstanding. Everything we ordered from starter to main course to dessert was pitch perfect. We were very disappointed our second time back this year. Although the menu is well thought out with a strong focus on unusual combinations for sophisticated palates, the truth is that this year nothing delivered on taste. Again we tried several different things and didn't truly enjoy anything. At best our food was okay. It was as if they were trying too hard to come up with very singular recipes but the follow through and final end product wasn't living up to the hype. And although there was nothing wrong with the service, it was somewhat indifferent and impersonal."

"Food was innovative and very good. Service was very good. We had a very loud table next to us which cut down on the ambiance of the small, special room we were in. Chairs were cushy, but too low. I had to sit on a pillow to see my meal."
