"I was excited to finally try the restaurant for my birthday. The hostess took us towards a table as directed by a blonde woman at the computer. It was not a good table and mentioned to the hostess that I wanted a different table. The hostess went to the computer, made a suggestion to the other woman and found us a great table. Thank You. She made all the difference for my birthday dinner. The service was great, we had a yound lady from Russia; The food was very good."

"Very good food though the restaurant is inflexible re what comes with the entree. My desire to substitute green beans for spaghetti squash, both of which are on the menu, was met with great resistance. Seems this simple request "plays havoc" with the kitchen. They could only provide a side of green beans for an upcharge. Hard to understand from a restaurant positioning itself as fine dining. Eventually, after much deal of hand wringing and verbal heranguing from the waitress and manager that this request was impossible as the menu states "no substitutions," the substituion was made. The green beans were delicious as was the bison steak. Having dined at many fine restaurants, the take it or leave it attitude was difficult to comprehend."

"A gem at Copper Mountain Resort! The menu offers items to make everyone happy! The Tuna Tostada appetizer is wonderfully yummy as are the mussels! The filet is tender, the salmon is flavorful and the lasagna is a wonderful hearty portion of heaven! Truly a wonderful addition to Copper!"

"Cute place, and food is decent. (Not foodie good, but better than basic ski resort fare.) The sub-standard service and extremely long wait time for food aren't worth the quality however. Even making advanced reservations via Open Table won't guarantee that your reservation won't be delayed if there is anything going on at the resort. Wait staff was friendly, but forgot basics like water and bread for the table. Food took 70 minutes to arrive after ordering, which is a real issue if you have hungry kids with bedtimes approaching. Even thought the manager gave us a discount when we complained, we most likely won't try this place again even though we visit Copper annually."

"The resort had a great idea of food and wine pairings hosted at CB Grille. Appetizers and wine pairings on Friday night and a 3 course dinner and wine pairings on Saturday night. The food was very good, but the bartender was our server. He was very informal and did not know much about the pairings so we were very disappointed. The restaurant used to have a somelier who knew her stuff. I suggest that the bartendar stay behind the bar to serve beer."

"We wanted to celebrate a birthday, just the two of us, and CB Grille delivered in style. I had one of the best steaks I've had in a long time, my wife had the scallops which we also delicious. Service was warm & friendly, and a beautiful and irrestible dessert on the house rounded out the evening. We drank a bottle of San Grigorino which was very good as well."

"We were warmly greeted by the poised/professional hostess; Had a drink at the bar where the bartender gave all his attention to some attractive young women. The menu is extensive and we had a great meal, but our waiter seemed overwhelmed with too many tables to attend to.
Nice live music. I would suggest dining early or late when it is not so noisey nor chaotic. Nice side bar area with tall round tables.
It was entertaining to watch the hostess multi-task [seating people, hanging coats, pouring water, answering the phone, and clearing/setting tables."

It's obviously REALLY hard to plan staffing for a ski resort restaurant (esp. when the snow is light), but on the night we were there they were woefully understaffed. "This place looks nice. The food selection, quality & service don't meet up with the looks. We were turned in as a 'no show' to OpenTable, even though we arrived 15 minutes early & noted we made reservations thru OpenTable. Food was OK, but pricy. CB Grille can improve quite a bit if they want to--they have the 'makings' of a good dining experience...........just a little rough around the edges."
