"This was my first visit and I thought it would be stuffy considering it's location. I was pleasantly surprised! Atmosphere was nice and our waiter was more than attentive. He took the time to go over the wine list, the specials and the menu. One person in our party had been here before but did not see his dish, the waiter offer to check with the kitchen to see if they could accomodate, and they did! Will recommend and will dine here again~"

"My husband and I were not very impressed with the food at this restaurant. I thought the suckling pig was one of their specialties but it was mostly dry. My husband had the fish. It sounded so good on the menu but was not very flavorful for 40 dollars. Even his salad was nothing special. My tomato mozzarella salad was good but I've had better at other restaurants. I'd been looking forward to dining there for a long time but I will not go back."

"We had eaten at Arcodoro & Pomodoro a few times on Routh. Loved it. Yummy food, great atmosphere, great service - always a great choice. So we brought our friends there as well - thinking we would all enjoy. Wrong. The location is great, but now the whole restaurant feels stuffy. The waiter was so impatient - no manners. We felt rushed (until we were ready to get the heck outta there & then he disappeared). The food was still delicious (except for one of the specials which wasn't). We wanted to love it as always, but it's different & we didn't."

"We hadn't been to Arcodoro Pomodoro since they moved and were very pleasantly surprised. The new location is more elegant but the food is just as good as always and beautifully presented. Service was outstanding! We had to get to the symphony and they kept the dinner moving at the perfect pace to meet our schedule. So, it is a great option for those going to the Arts Center for a performance. We were also very pleased at the table spacing--not too crowded which is an issue at some restaurants. The room made carrying on a conversation much easier to do."

"The September move to a new locations was a mistake. This is not the restaurant we knew and loved for over 6 years. The waiters are gone, The chef is gone. Our favotive dishes are gone. So, we will no longer be going back to Arcodoro & Pomodoro when we go to Theatre Three."

"because we were heading to the theatre, we arrived at 6:15. it was not crowded and about half full. we sat next to back wall near an opaque window with the kitchen on the other side. it was quite bright. so if you are looking for a cozy, romantic setting, i would ask to be seated further away. the staff was very attentive and the food was very good."

"A most attractive place for lunch The hostess was pleasant and showed us to a table in a quite part of the dining room as requested. Our drinks and entrees were of top notch quality and beautifully presented. Our waiter was very competitent and attentive.

I have two things that annoy me; the resitstion of the specials at break neck speed and usuall directed to one member in the party and being put at a two top when there many four tops available.

This is a general complaint of mine but both apply to AP."

"The food and atmosphere were great. I did have a reservation that they weren't able to meet because of a group running late, but they informed me upon arrival and updated me periodically. I would have appreciated a glass of wine for the wait, but the service once we were seated was very attentive and gracious. I will return!"

"Well...the bar may have set my expecatations a bit too high. There is definitely a wow moment when you walk in, its very impressive. The bar atmoshphere and the server we had were very good, and then we went to dinner. The service was a choppy at best. Maybe the guys serving us were from Sardina, (not really) but everyone had a tough time understanding the server. His timing was poor. He must have had the water con In my OpenTable reservation I said it was a very important business meeting, and a great waiter would have listened to what was going on and waited at times our guy didn't. The food was so-so. The Sardinian scampi was very arty but dried out. The raviolli and half moon pastas were appetizer sized and snd not significant."

"The food was too expensive and a bit exotic. The chicken and lamb I was served was dry and not that great. The calamari and ravioli were quite good though.

The restaurant just takes itself too seriously, Arcodoro & Pomodoro is in reality a fancied up version of Brio. They run the restaurant like it's the Four Seasons though, and it's kind of irritating, I would have been more comfortable if they'd back off, I can put my own napkin in my own lap, thank you very much.

Anyway, the restaurant is good if you want to have a new dining experience and don't mind overpaying, but overall I was pretty disappointed."

"The food was great but the service was WAY too slow. They would not seat us immmediately and kept asking me how many were in my party. After the third time of me telling them the same number I asked if all my party had to be there to be seated (I was only lacking one). Their response was they wanted to make sure the number I gave them was exactly what was coming. I told them - "You asked me three time and three times the number is exactly the same - what more is it going to take to convince you that my party is what it is?". They FINALLY seated us. I will NOT be doing busines there again. We should have been seated by 6 and weren't until almost 6:30 and then the service was very slow. Ok...I've said enough. Food was good though."

"The service and attitude of staff are excellent. The food is unique and holds its own in the DFW metroplex area. The wine selection is exquisite. The umbience is friendly and cozy.

What a perfect location for such a nice restaurant. My wife and I loved it and we already told our colleagues and friends to visit the restaurant. It is a joy to share the beautiful things in life with others.

In our scale, this is a five star restaurant. We look forward to our next visit."

"This was a fantastic dinning experience. The service was professional, the meal not rushed, server not intrusive but helpful. The quail and risotto special was excellent. The risotto was creamy and cooked to perfection. The house red was a lovely house wine. The new location has a different feel from the the past two, but it is lovely and extremely relaxing and beautiful decor."

"This was the first time for us in the new location and we were looking forward to see it. It's in a nice location and looks nice, but it doesn't have the same intimate feel as the old location.
They have removed all vegetarian dishes from the dinner menu (you can special order a few vegetarian dishes if you ask) and their very tasty bowtie bread is not available all days anymore :-( In addition, their very tasty creme brulee desert is gone.
As always, the food is good though.
We were there on a Sunday evening and it was not crowded at all.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants for a long time and we were sad it had changed."

"The restaurant was perfect. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We were well-attended to, and the staff made a point to make a special occasion of my niece's sixteenth birthday. We were done well in time to make to the symphony."
