Brick NYC is a casual Italian Restaurant and bar serving an extensive menu of pizzas, pastas, and wine. The portions are prepared with the freshest ingredients by Executive Chef Warren Schierenbeck. “My love of cooking started in childhood making raviolis with my mother and grandmother,” Schierenbeck told Food Network in his finalist interview for the Chopped competition.
Brick NYC is a two floor establishment, the first being our elegant dining room filled with candles and drapes, and our second being our spacious event space. Our event space is capable of holding 80 persons seated for a buffet, family style or fine dining style meal, and 150 guests for a cocktail reception. The event space contains a private bar, bathrooms, and audio video capabilities to meet the needs of all types of events.
"Had a group of 7 of us. I appreciated that they could give us group reservations 4hrs in advance on a sat night... Tough to swing in NYC. We had a good time - good friends, food and wine!
After dinner they have dueling pianos as well."

"We went to Brick for Sunday brunch. The food was really good, particularly the caramel banana pancakes, delish. We made a reservation, although it wasn't too crowded so it probably wasn't necessary. FYI, they won't seat until your entire party has arrived, so make sure everyone is on time-ish! Really great ambiance inside, although, I think better suited for happy hour or dinner than brunch. Would have loved more natural light or outdoor seating because it was so nice, but overall a great brunch."

"We were seated next to two large groups of high school students, a surprise for a small, dark, jazzy brunch spot. There was no explanation of where the jazz singer was (part of the reason we came) but they came out after their break. Also, it was not made clear what drinks were included in the deal we purchased. The food was good, not exceptional, and the ambiance is fine. The server was friendly."

"It look over an hour for us to get our food - pancakes and eggs. And then when we asked for a bread basket or something they brought us 2 slices of white bread no butter. Then the pancakes were suppose to have caramel bananas with maple syrup there was no syrup just this burn caramel liquid - I'm assuming from the bananas. Over all the experience was horrible and I will never go back or refer this place to a friend."

"It was my first time at BrickNYC for brunch. Firstly I think the service was outstanding! Everyone in the restaurant was friendly and accommodating. The staff really makes you feel at home!
I had the steak & eggs for brunch. The portion was perfect but although I asked for medium, the steak came out a little more done with burned edges. My friend had the pancakes which she said was delicious.
Would I come back again? Absolutely!"

"Always great for brunch, a little expensive, but cannot beat it when using the Groupon deal. Drinks are strong, steak and eggs flavorful, and the Eggs Benedict delicious; all while listening to relaxing live music. Will certainly return."

"Restaurant ambience was nice during their Saturday brunch. Softly playing jazz and food was very good varied menu- short wait time for the food to come to the table. Waiter service very efficient, bus boys very attentive. Hostess pleasant. Manager came by to say hello and ask if we were pleased with everything. Would definitely return and recommend."

"I love Brick - I live in the neighborhood, and I truly enjoy frequenting the restaurant. The food is good, the wines are nice, and the service is exceptionally good. My only qualm is the noise level - which is not their fault. The restaurant caters to large groups and, sadly, some people are just selfish, loud and annoying."

"Solid place for reasonably priced, good Italian food in the neighborhood. Pasta was al dente -- a very good thing! There are so few moderately priced restaurants in the Tribeca neighborhood -- so this is a very welcome addition."

"Great setting and found it online so easy to miss in Tribeca but amazing pizza.... The small is best--thinner and less doughy crust. Also enjoyed a shrimp appetizer and good gnocchi."

"This place would be a gem if the quality of the food was better. I had the shrimp scampi pizza, which was bland and without an ounce of seasoning. Meatballs were good; drinks were good. Cannoli Napoleon was ridiculous - - overbaked puffed pastry with a dollop of whipped cream and a measly sprinkle of blueberries. Extremely overpriced for the quantity and quality of food. If the food were as good as the service, ambiance and location, this place would be lovely!"

"Went for brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. The live jazz added to the very relaxing ambiance, of you're starving this wont not be the place to eat but the food was delish. The drinks were a bit weak but it was a Saturday morning."

"The decor is wonderful and we really enjoyed the live jazz band. The food tasted great but what I wasn't impressed with the presentation of the food. We ordered pancakes and the whipcream was fully melted on it. Just didn't look too appetizing."

"Overall, Brick was a nice brunch experience. I plan to return and try their lunch menu. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and they 1st came out burned. The quickly re-did them to a typical brown color but they weren't done inside. So, I wouldn't suggest ordering the pancakes bc they aren't cooking them on a skillet but in an oven so if they aren't burnt then they aren't done. My husband ordered a pie and it was delicious! Nice Jazz in the backdrop as well!"

"We opted for Brick due to its location. The restaurant was clearly short-staffed the day of our visit (a Monday, lunch time). One waiter and one busboy. No hostess, bartender or any presence up front. The waiter was great but too busy to be attentive. My son's burger, ordered medium, was charred. The food was standard NYC fare, (above average). We would try something different next time."

"Delicious food; menu diverse enough for kids; great portion sizes; nice atmosphere; would love to go back in the evening sans kids and check out the wine selections and bar scene. Reservation easy to make online (although not necessary for lunch as there were only a couple of tables occupied). Wait staff professional and attentive."

"My wife and I were uninspired by our brunch here. My lemon ricotta pancakes, a special for the day, took 5-10 minutes longer to come out after my wife had already been served her eggs benedict. And when they finally did arrive, they were burnt and had little flavor.
The jazz was nice, but we won't be back."

"Brick NYC is a favorite spot for my boyfriend and I to have brunch. (Be sure to get the parmesan truffle fries!) They offer a unqiue spin on brunch, merging delicious Italian flavors with comfort-food favorites. I really enjoy their pizzas, as they pick really great flavors and just baked them to simple perfection. They also offer Pizza Making classes at Brick and do live jazz Saturday and Sunday."

"We had a Groupon deal for brunch at Brick. Do not be fooled by the outside/street appearance of this restaurant. Once you get inside, the ambience is lovely. We had the weekend brunch, and the live jazz duo was just lovely in the background. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Definitely recommend Brick."

"Enjoyed brunch at Brick NYC a lot. Cozy, great ambiance, excellent food choices, prosecco by the glass was above average and the service was amazing (always pleased when a restaurant gets the customer service piece right). The only weird thing was that the chef didn't want to make my egg scrambled vs. over easy, which was as they came on the dish I ordered. Totally understand the chef having a vision but I hate runny eggs."

"My husband and I had the groupon for 2 entrees and 4 brunch cocktails and were thrilled with our experience. The live jazz was energetic but not overpoweringly loud, the groupon deal was explained to us kindly by the manager, who also informed us that if we ordered pizza it would take a little longer to prepare. We appreciated the warning and didn't mind the wait, as the restaurant had a great vibe and we enjoyed our conversation. The food was wonderful (we both had pizza) and we appreciated how the brunch cocktails included in our groupon also included wine and beer. We'll definitely be back for a brunch in the future!"

"Jazz starts at noon for brunch so you want to plan ahead to reserve a space. I wish more places would include bacon with pancakes it's the perfect combination but unfortunately Brick NYC menu did not include bacon with the beautiful looking pancakes so I got the steak and eggs instead and they hit the spot! The breakfast pizzas are really good too."

"We had a beautiful brunch experience at Brick. Some might think the portion of food was a little light (we had steak & eggs) but for me and my daughter it was just the right amount. Everything on the plate was very tasty and the steak was prepared perfectly. Mimosas and Bloody Mary were great. We will be visiting again."

"Brick NYC might seem compact from the outside but don't let that scare you. Once you walk in, you are greeted by many friendly staffers who made this place memorable. There is plenty of seating towards the back and you also get to enjoy soothing Jazz music on the weekends from the live band. Definitely a place to go with friends or that special someone.."

""I love the relaxed feel of this place - dark, small and cozy – like a comfortable living room. I definitely would return to try more dishes. I enjoyed my open meatball sandwich and my colleague enjoyed her shrimp plate. Service was well-timed and friendly, and as I was leaving I left one of my bags by accident and they came running after me. It was so very kind."
