A unique dining and cocktail experience unlike anything in the area, Citron is Palm Springs' newest gourmet dining experience. The intimate restaurant and bar features both traditional and innovative selections on its diverse menu, including the freshest meat, poultry, and seafood, as well as luscious pastries and desserts. Citron's full bar offers a unique wine list, plus specially created apertifs, martinis and cocktails. Citron's vibrant lemon yellow walls and cool white furnishings provide the perfect setting for a desert dining experience. "We had a wonderful time-feels like we found a gem in the desert. The food was great as was the atmosphere. Staff was very accommodating. We will definitely return-just wish it wasn't such a trek for us."

"Would you believe we went back within a few days with one additional friend and I had the same tapas and the lamb was not as good nor was it the same rib chops but some other, not as tasty, cut of the lamb. I'd go back again but this time instead of accepting it the way it was, I will complain if it is not as good. More consistency would be better for Citron."

"I found the service to be slow and unpleasant. Our waiter made us feel as though we were bothering him and took his time taking our order and servicing our table. My bass was drowning in so much broth that is should have been advertised as a soup not an entree. The wine and ambiance was decent and my other guests seemed to enjoy the meal."

"Citron is a favorite of ours when we visit Palm Springs. The service is always very personal and the food yummy. We love the new tapas treats and the calamari and lamb the best we've had outside of Spain. Well done Citron!"

"Dined for Valentine's Day. Did not seem crowded, though we were seated inside and apparently outside seating is available too. Acoustics of indoor seating were such that even small crowd created noise. Romantic lighting and candles on each table. Responsive staff. Interesting, quaint spot. Very tasty menu, small portions. Highlight was potato-mushroom lasagna, an excellent choice for my vegetarian date, distinguishing Citron from so many restaurant's Valentine's prix fixe for which the vegetarian option was at best an afterthought."

"I loved the way the staff treated us at the Citron, they were very attentive. The outside dining was cozy, sitting next to the pool, outside lights, very romantic. The food was exceptional, along with desert!!"

"There was really only one good dish that we had here....and that was the muscles. Everything else was really not that good. It also took over an hour for us to get the food. The waiter rarely showed himself, except when he had to take back one of the dishes that was just plain bad. Also, our waiter didn't seem to know much about the menu and was guessing at much of the ingredients and was usually wrong. He didn't even realize that they had charcuterie on the menu, or what that meant. Not a great dining experience."

"Everything about the restaurant was uneven: the service, the food, and the ambiance. The waiter disappeared for long periods of time. Some courses were excellent, some just edible. The room is pretty, but it was freezing."

"Nobody eat pork medium rare. I asked to be cooked through...to get it back pink! Couldn't eat it. I left it on the plate. They left it on the bill. The charcuterie platter comes with sliced bread. May be should be "Bread with Charcuterie" : there were more bread on the plate than charcuterie. The dessert " French beignets" was very good. The server was nice....when available : busy to talk with other employees at the bar."

"Very nice experience on Christmas night, although the food wasn't exceptional. Could have been due to the fixed menu, which is a typical thing for some PS restaurants to do on Christmas. Kind of sad that the best thing we had was the eggnog martini."

"Not many patrons in house when we dined for Thanksgiving and the waitstaff was often confused about what was being offered with the prix fixe menu. While the traditional Thanksgiving fare was quite good with a twist on yam and cranberry dishes, we felt there was not enough food and since the price was very steep per person we were a little disappointed. The price for a bottle of non vintage Champagne was 50% higher than most comparable restaurants. But the ambiance and friendly staff make it a great choice for romantic escape or small groups of good friends."

"While hard to find we were looking forward to this meal as it had been featured in a recent national publication as a "must dine." Service was slow with long period between courses. The food, once it arrived was overall good, however, one entree' ordered "medium" came out still cold in the center. Wouldn't go again."
