"The red and white theme of the restaurant was quite pleasant, and I obviously on a quieter evening it could be a very romantic spot. During my visit, the ambiance and drinks were fantastic, however all our seabass entrees were overcooked and bland. The desserts were overly sweet to the point we only ate the ice cream off the top. As an industry person, I would recommend the cocktails, (especially the infused vodkas) and choose anywhere else on the block for food."

"This was our first visit to Red Square Bistro based on an Amazon Local discount coupon. We really enjoyed the experience and found our food to be excellent. The Vodka list was other worldly, but we are not Vodka drinkers. The wine list was relatively brief by comparison.
We ordered the roasted salmon with pumpkin gnocchi appetizer and double cut pork chop with cucumber and beet salad appetizer. All were freshly prepared and delicious.
The waiter was very nice and attentive. We had an early reservation prior to a theater performance. The dining room was full and vibrant by the time we left."

"Went during Denver Restaurant week. Food was good but we didn't leave enough time for dinner and getting to the theater so we were a bit rushed. All food was very good. The mussels were tasty but many did not open so I think they could have been cooked maybe 2 minutes longer. Otherwise, nice portions and prepared nicely."

"Food and service were great, this visit was during restaurant week and we had steak and sea bass. Both very good, salads, butternut squash soup were very good. We tried both desserts, they were delicious.
This was our second visit, we were taking clients to the theater afterwards, and we very much enjoyed our visit.
I am not a vodka drinker but they have to have the largest vodka selection in town!"

"I really enjoyed my dinner here. All courses were delicious, the duck breast was cooked just right, as were the vegies (and I appreciated the nice sized portion of vegies). The brownie was outstanding--one of the best I've ever had. The server was attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Service was quick, which was great since we were going to a ballet afterwards. "We decided to check out Red Square after rave reviews from friends. We went on a Friday evening during restaurant week and it was pretty busy. We had the mussels for an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the beet and cucumber salad, which was also very good. For the main dish I tried the veal osso bucco and my husband had the rack of lamb. The main dishes were cooked well and flavorful, but we would hesitate to say they were excellent. The infused vodkas were fun to try. The service was friendly but a little understaffed it seemed. Others around us had water refills and my husband did get skipped over on that trip. I thought overall it was a decent experience but we are probably not going to become regulars."

"My wife and I went there for Valentines Day. We had a 6:00p.m. reservation. We were a few minutes late due to traffic in Larimer Square. Parking was excellent in the underground garage. We were seated right away despite being a few minutes late. The servers were quite attentive, friendly, and efficient. The special menu items were interesting and the choices we made were delightful. My wife had the steak which was cooked PERFECTLY. I had the duck which was OK. I guess I am not a duck fan. I was trying something new. Other than the duck, the rest of the meal was excellent and we would not hesitate to return. This was the first time here."

"The Red Square Bistro offers a great variety of vodkas; including house made infused vodkas. The staf at the Red Square Bistro is attentitive but not hounding. they know how to take care of their customers and they know their menus and can give excellent recommendations. "Overall everything was great. It was the first time that we had ever sat in the dinning room and everything was really good. Our steaks where pretty over done, and had we not been in a hurry I would have asked for them done again. Which I am sure they would have been. They accommodated my birthday request with flying colors. We have been to this spot many times and will definitely be coming back."

"Although dinner was enjoyed, and the location is very romantic, we were disappointed that the menu outside the restaurant which made us decide to eat here was outdated. The things we looked most forward to ordering were not being offered. This was the case with the online menu as well. The space is really nice, and that tucked away location in Writer Square is lovely especially when given a window seating."

"The food was great. I had spinach salad with candied pumpkin seeds and pears for a starter. It was really good. For my main dish, I had the stroganoff. It was the ultimate comfort food.
My complaint lies with the waiter. This place touts a great selection of vodkas, but when I asked for assistance in choosing, I was pretty much dismissed and told that the standard vodka would be fine for me. Meanwhile, same waiter and a new table of guests got extra help and different flavored shots kept arriving at their table. Needless to say, I was not pleased.
The restaraunt is great - I think it's been around for a while. If you go, avoid a white haired waiter or sit at the bar."

"The server did not help us choose a vodka. We sat down at 8pm and at 8:20pm were told the kitchen closes in 20 minutes! It was a horrible experience. We were entertaining out of town clients, very embarrassing."

"The duck dish is a must as an entree and also the vodka list was superb. The service was excellent, i would like to see the beef stroganoff served over egg noodles instead of mashed potatoes."
