"I hadn't been to the Lucky Monk in a while but it was just as good as I remembered. I was very pleased with the amount of time it took for us to be seated (we made reservations in advance), have our order put in and receive our food. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic (shout out to our server Shane who was great!) and the ambiance was very nice. If I lived closer, I would definitely go more often."

"The only reason I went there was in response to an email that the patio was open for dining. It was closed due to the "chance" of thunderstorms. Well, it never rained that day. Also, they were out of a beer I was looking forward to trying. Strike two."

"We dined at The Lucky Monk for the first time this past Wednesday at 7:30pm. Even though the place was packed, two minutes after we walked through the door, we were seated at a great booth and our server was already taking our drink orders. For anyone who likes craft beer, it's important to note that this place is also a brewery, and their beer is very unique and very good. My fiance and I both ordered burgers, which were delicious. The only disappointment the entire evening was the lack of cheese in his grilled cheese burger (a burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches). We thought the bread-to-cheese ratio was way too high, since the reason for ordering the grilled cheese burger was the cheese. Apart from that, a great experience."

"Best burgers in town! Cooked to perfection with onions, cheese, lettuce, pickles and tomato on a brioche or sesame seed bun. Served on a round disk platform so they look like they are gigantic. They are large, but scrumptious! They come with fries, although you can substitute fruit or veggies for a small additional fee. Their artisan pizza is also delicious and popular, as is their pulled pork. This is a great after movie lunch or dinner spot, with a sports bar for those who are following all the games. Great place!"

"My friend and I met for dinner. This was my first time here. This place is beautiful! although the patio was closed because it was kind of cold, they had an area with a fire that had lounge chairs around it. I will definitely be back in the summer. When we checked into the restaurant, we asked if we could sit in the bar. The person at the front desk was very nice and took us there right away. Our server was really the highlight of the night. She was awesome! She had a great knowledge of the beers and food. Whenever we needed something, she was right there. She was so friendly all night long. I gave food four stars because of the taco size. You get these four teeny tiny tacos. The food tasted great but it just wasn't enough."

"I always enjoy going to the Lucky Monk. It has a certain casual elegance that appeals to everyone in my family.

"This was our 2nd trip to the Lucky Monk-first time had burgers...they were EXCELLENT. This trip- we had the half chicken and the beef tips...very average. I would go back to the Lucky Monk but never order anything but the burgers and may try the pizza but the dinner options were just average..nothing to recommend....bland tasting."

"We attended Mothers Day Brunch & were disappointed w/the food selection. For starters, the restaurant elected to cram the entire buffet into a very small area that had very little room to walk around or get any of the food items. People were tripping over & bumping into each other all morning. The food selection was very limited. The food was dry & not often changed. I went to the buffet twice for eggs & both times they were empty. I have also never been to a brunch that did not have breakfast potatoes of some sort or a carving station or at the minimum ham or beef. The lunch/dinner items were a strange combination of kids food and random other items. I found it odd that a complimentary mimosa for the Moms wasnt included for 25.95."

"We had to wait even though we had a reservation and there were a lot of open tables when we arrived. The hostess that greated us was friendly, but the hostess who sat us barely spoke a word or looked at us, didn't give us kids menus or silverware. Not a good way to start the meal. Luckily our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the food and beer menu."

"Our waiter could not follow through with simple requests. We asked for the dessert menu, but then didn't return to take our order and instead, brought us our check. We told him we wanted dessert, ordered it but he messed up the order. We asked for the check right away. When we finally received it, it was completely wrong. I had to go searching for him. The manager had to fix our check and I actually stood at the register and told him what we ordered so that it would be done right. We got our check finally but then no one came back to take our money. So we stood at the kitchen door waiting for someone to come and take it. The whole check process took 40 minutes! Our entire dinner was 3 hours long b/c of the poor service. Never again!"

"My wife and two adult kids went to the Lucky Monk for Easter Brunch. The area in which the food was set up was way too small to accomodate the amount of people going through the line. If I wanted something near the end of the line I had to wait for 20-25 people to walk past everything before getting to my selection. At the taco station the condiments were set up before you received the taco(s) so after receiving the taco(s) you had to shuffle back past 2-3 people to get back to the condiments. The direction of the line also changed - one time it started at the salad, another time it ended at the salad. $25/plate is not a bad price but the food selection looked more like a buffet for Super Bowl Sunday NOT Easter Brunch!(no ham or turkey)"

"We were seated immediately for our 7:45 reservation--always a good start. From that point on, our experience went downhill quickly. We waited at least 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by a server. When he didn't return within a few minutes, we asked the host to track him down. When the server did finally return to our table, we ordered our entire meal instead of just drinks, knowing we'd likely not see him again for a while. We then waited at least another 15 minutes for our drinks from the bar. By the time our drinks were served, we'd been seated at least 35 minutes and had been commiserating with the table next to ours, who'd been receiving the same dreadful service. The food was great but didn't make up for the service."

"Worst experience we have had in a really long time. For any of those interested in joining the monk society club. One word 'DONT'. When we asked 4 different staff members about the club, only one could answer the question. The bartending staff is horrible, the bartenders let us sit there for well over 10 minutes and only when we called them over to ask for a drink did they reply 'well okay'. This restaurant has certainly lost it's appeal. They have good hamburgers, but so do a lot of restaurants."

"This was our first visit to the Lucky Monk. The restaurant is very large with large booths and tables. The bar has several large screen TVs'. The menu is so impressive it is difficult to decide what dish to order. The food was very good at a reasonable price. I ordered the burger and it was outstanding. The service was also very good. The Lucky Monk will certainly be one of our new spots."

"Please thank Jessica for her great service! She also mentioned she was perfume-free, which is great! Perfume interferes with my breathing and can cause respiratory arrest. "We had such a nice romantic dinner- my husband had just come back from a trip and we celebrated his belated birthday as well. Our server was so nice and on point. I prefer the booths with the little lights on the tables over the booths with the overhead spotlight- at my age, I need all the help I can get with flattering lighting! Next time I will request one of those well lit booths! :-) In addition to the horseradish cream sauce with the corned beef and cabbage, I think a little whole grain brown mustard would have been nice on the side as well! Thank you Lucky Monk for a special evening!"

"Fantastic Burgers! Service was fast and the server gave us a wonderful suggestion on what type of burger to order. The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked to order. My party ordered a flight of craft beers and they all were very good. We will return to this establishment and next time catch a movie at the theater that is right next door."
