"These people are so smart! They offer every entree on their menu as an early bird special between 5 - 6:30pm every day. They also have Happy Hour at this time. This is the only restaurant in Key West I know of offering these kinds of discounts. Instead of just my husband and I going out, we can now take the family. The food is fabulous, the service superb. Just go."

"When I made a reservation for Mother's Day the only available time they had was 10:00 AM. When we arrived at 10:00 they seated us for breakfast. We said no, we reserved brunch. They then made arrangements for us to return at 11:00 AM when brunch began.
My fussy husband said it was the best roast beef he has had in a long time I prefered the lamb chops, the only thing missing was the mint sauce. All the ladies got a nice rose and unlimited champagne. Wonderful experience."

"The noise factor is unbelievable. It is literally impossible to carry on a conversation at your table in the main dining room due to large groups at the bar. There is no sound baffeling in the main dining room. Your only recourse is to dine in the rear room away from the bar. We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past and the sound factor is always just as bad. Too bad becuase the food is quite good."

"We were seated where we like to be, but there was a large party next to us - maybe an office party - and as one in our group has hearing challenges anyway, he couldn't hear anything but our noisy neighbors... Nothing to do with the restaurant as much as an unfortunate placement. Everything else, including their new 'order-before-6:30pm-during-the-month-of-April' for a big discount on all entrees was exceptional."

"Tavern opened up their 'other' dining room, which was FAR away from the music (which is fine, but too noisy if you're trying to have conversations with fellow diners), so we ate there. They were ALSO having a special $19.95 for ALL entree's through the month of April if ordered before 6:30pm, so, as we were headed to the Tennessee Williams Theater for a 7:30pm curtain, it worked perfectly and we were able to take advantage of the discount. Very nice meal. We're going back again on Sunday!"

"Went here with high expectations based on good ratings in AAA book. Unfortunately the experience did not measure up. After a quick cab ride we arrived and were promptly seated for 730 reservation. Bar was very loud mostly by a large group hat appeared to have been ere since happy hour but also the fact that it was all hard scape- hard ceiling, hardwood floor, etc. Our waiter was functional but definitely not attentive. After initial greeting it took a long time to order drinks and food. We were a party of 4 and the restaurant was not packed but the pace was very slow. Menu was interesting but portions quite small. Everyone was happy with their selections and food was well prepared. Dining room lacked ambience and was un inspired-restauran."

"The food was good but nothing exceptional. The service was slow eecially given that the restaurant wasn't very busy the night I went. I attempted to do a self made tapas type of approach and order three appituizers/sides for my meal. I told the waiter which was to be my 1st course and 2nd course, etc. unfortunately all my food arrived at the same time so my main dishes had to sit and wait for my dates main course and ended up getting pretty cold. I would've told the waiter but unfortunately, I didn't see him again until after my dates main course was served."

"This was our second choice for the night and we switched after we found our first choice - a steakhouse - did not have Prime Rib. My wife said it was the best Prime Rib she has ever had. I had a duo of filet mignon and shortribs - yummy. Very crowded and a tad noisy but well worth the visit."
