"Overall a great restaurant. Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the weather and street scene. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Food was outstanding! I had a ribeye steak that was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My wife had the snapper that she said was delicious and my son had a braised short rib that came in a cast iron dutch oven and was superb. The side dishes are extra and enough to share. We had the bleu cheese tator tots, gnocci, and green beans with bacon. All side were awesome. I would definetly eat here again."

"This was our second visit to BLT. Our first visit with my husband was for our 27th anniversary last April. We had such a great experience with the service then that we wanted to bring our family of five to enjoy another great evening. However our waiter this visit was sub-par. It seemed as though he knew he was getting a good sized tip based on what we ordered and didn't feel the need to give us quality service."

"This is the second time that we have eaten at BLT and we were really satisfied the rolls were really that high point of the meal We really enjoyed the home made whipped butter with a dash of sea salt it made for an excellent combination for the pallet. The only thing that was really not to my liking was I ordered the 22 oz bone in ribeye med well it was a little to rare for me the waitress offered to take it back to the kitchen to have them cook some more but the outside was already blackened enough so I did what I could with it . My overall experience was great the service was really good not overly attentive just right. The manger came by and asked how the meal was and if he could do anything for us, that was nice of him."

"For a Steak House I was surprised how tough the filet was. I expected a fantastic steak but I got only a sore mouth from all the chewing I had to do. The braised ribs were okay but nothing special. We all laughed when the crab cake appetizer came and it was only a single piece that was really spicy and a bit dry. I think the problem is the cost. For the high price of the food I expected a better grade of meat and food that was amazing or different. All I got was something I could have done much better for myself at home and at a lot lower price."

"We love BLT; a lot. The regular menu is fantastic and there are is always a fantastic daily Blackboard specials. If you do do feel like ordering a la carte, you can order a prix fixe off the Blackboard for an awesome deal. They make a real effort to source local, fresh ingredients and it shows. The steak is always fantastic, but don't ignore the fish, the pork chops, or the lamb. Just about everything is made in house, including the amazing desserts.

Service is always exemplary - fantastic staff, from manager on down. Go and have a wonderful time and be prepared for some leftovers!"

"From start to finish just a wonderful experience. We live in southern California, but lived in Chicago fro years. Steaks here are on par or better than any we've had, including New York City. Try the bone in Ribeye--Wow. Service was excellent--starting with the puff bread--brought to the table steaming hot. Waiter also brought numerous sauces to enjoy with your steak (tough you dont need anything on them). My wife had the 8 ox filet and loved it. Split the salad, very large, but excellent. We had achopped that was very good and uniquely BLTs. Shared a baked potato---try the bacon bits--oh my goodness. Good wine by the glass list. Management came by the table twice to ensure all was well. Topped off by Bananas Foster Cheescake! Heavenly-Wow!"

"We try to visit BLT Steak every time we visit Honolulu. It is by far the best steakhouse in the State and we've tried them all. The steaks are great and the variety of sides and other dishes is what separates this steakhouse from the rest. There is simply something for everyone there."

"My friend and I were travelling to Hawaii for the first time and my boss at work recommended BLT. It surpassed all expectations!

The compimentary popover bread was scrumptious! They give you a card with the recipe which is a nice touch.

We ordered the pre-fixe which was incredibly good value. A stand out was the surf and turf main. The steak was cooked absolutely pefectly and was so tender and tasty! The lobster tail was mouth wateringly good.

We also asked to swap one of the sides for the specialty corn dish which they did for us very happily.

We had the banana foster cheescake for dessert which was out of this world!

Portions are generous and the quality is top notch.

Our waiters looked after us so well. You gotta eat h"

"This was our 4th time at BLT and it is always a nice experience with very good service and quality. This time, however, food was not quite as good as usual - our order for well-done hash browns came out in in bowl, nice and crispy on the outside and mushy and nearly raw on the inside - however, my husband LOVED his steak! Also, they make great martinis! I am sure we will return for another special occasion."

"We had an overall excellent experience. We were 15 minutes late for our reservation because of unforeseen traffic in Waikiki but the BLT staff was patient and accommodating. They still seated us promptly when we arrived. We were designated a table on the outside patio area in the corner. I wish I had known of the seating arrangements and had requested to sit indoors. We did ask to move but they were all full with the indoor seating. The patio seating is more casual and seems more ideal for groups while the inside has great ambiance. The service was great and our server was very attentive. We highly recommend the ribeye with bone marrow, grilled Hamakua mushrooms, Peanut Butter chocolate mousse with banana icecream!"

"Service was amazing! We were here for our 5 year anniversary and the service made our night even better! We couldn't make our minds up on dessert so our waiter brought us both of the desserts we were torn between. The desserts are perfect. The steak was good and the sides are great. "Overall our party of 8 had a good experience. The multiple menus made it slightly unorganized (sharing various paper menus) and our waiter spoke VERY quickly making it hard to take everything in. However, we welcomed the uniqueness of the options and absoultely loved the Jalapeno Mashed! They also had a refreshing drink menu that was very different than other place I've been. We did have a concern with the slowness of recieving additional drinks. When paying $15 a drink you would expect quicker service. It took 15-20 minutes to recieve our second round and couldn't find our waiter to order the third, so just grabbed another waitress passing by. Although we were disappointed in the slow drink service the overall experience was good."

"The food here was absolutely wonderful. It's a high-priced restaurant, but well worth it because everything was yummy. Before the meal arrives they serve buttery, warm, cheese-filled pop-overs that are hard to resist. I ate mine with little trouble. I then ordered a chopped vegetable salad that could have been a meal in itself. By the time my short ribs arrived, I was wondering how I'd ever finish. Everything tasted so fresh, and there wasn't a single person in our party of six who was unhappy with their meal. It was, hands down, the best meal I've had in my five trips to Honolulu."

"Food was very good but very pricy. Staff was a little harried, working hard for big tips. Asked for filet with sauce on side, and the chef messed up the order. The waiter offered to redo the order, but then, my guest 's dinner would have been cold. The sauce turned out to be delish. "The food was good... I had the butterfish which was great and my other half had the bone-in rib eye and thought that it was just ok - nothing great. "We went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary upon a recommendation from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. We were treated to a special table, special wines and outstanding service. We tried many different menu items and they were all wonderful. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go there again on our next trip to Oahu."

"The food and service was great. I would want to bring all my friends to this restaurant. As a oriental, I felt at home all the way. The waitress, managers, everyone visited our table was so nice and took good care. My wife's birthday is one to remember. If this type of service I am comfortable of recommend to anybody."

"We've eaten at several of the top steakhouses across the U.S. and this did not disappoint! All of our steaks (filet, Wagyu skirt and ribeye) were perfectly seasoned and cooked. There are several side dishes to choose from and our favorite was the spicy Kahulu corn which I can't wait to try to replicate at home. And as good as our main course was, the desserts were even better. They have an in-house pastry chef that makes an amazing peanut butter chocolate mousse with banana ice cream. And the Maui pineapple sundae was really good too. We had a greatI dining experience and I can't wait to go back!"

"We returned to BLT following a long pause & found new management, improved service and a better "feel" to the place. It is a hot spot, so close to Trump keeps it busy with guests and tourists alike. As locals in Honolulu, we try different places in search of great food - often hard to find here on the island. The steaks were awesome, and we made a point of mentioning it to the manager - in fact, we had a better steak here than we had at some other big name steak establishments on the island. The Service was paced, not rushed, so we had time to enjoy our very nice wine by the glass.... as the food seemed to take a touch longer than we wanted, our waitstaff noted that and topped off the glasses, a nice touch. We shall return & enjoy..."

"Visited Hawaii for business and had great meal, so great that we returned two days later to the worst meal. The steaks were over cooked. When brought to the attention of waiter staff the manager came back to table to challange us that they were ok when indeed cooked wrong. The experience that evening was terrible. The reason was how the situation was handled. I have eaten at the New York BLT and would have eaten at the AZ location, but based on this experience and the lack of concern I would not return nor recommend. I communicated with manager again before leaving, who's only concern was himself. I waited until now to see if he communicated seeing he had my information. No such thing. BLT, I would replace the location manager!"

"I was concerned over some of the reviews posted on another prominent review website. Having dined here, I was very impressed. I've been to the best of the best steak houses in Vegas and other locations, and BLT Steak Waikiki is the best that Hawaii has to offer. This is now my favorite over Hy's, Morton's, DK's, Ruth Chris, Wolfgang's, and any of those. BLT's high attention to detail, excellent service, and great food are above the quality of other steak houses in Hawaii. The whole 9 yards was perfect here. I'll be back for sure."
