"We have dined at this particular spot for many uears using it for family functions and other special occasions. We have never minded the expense as we always feel that the quality of the food and the service justified it. However we have been here in the recent past and noticed the service was not up to par and the food seemed off. We just chalked it up to we caught them on a bad night
We just went for Mothers Day and were extremely disappointed. My $73.00 lobster was lukewarm and over cooked. The steaks arrived without any sizzle or temperature as though they had been sitting under a warming lamp too long

"I visit this location about once a month and my expectations are always exceeded. The food is always as I ordered. The staff, whether or not they are assigned to you, are always polite and friendly. Management is always on floor overseeing quality control. Very special tha is to Mr. Atkinson, manager, and Joe, a fabulous waiter!!!"

"I've been a fan of Ruth's Chris for many years. Last night was a disappointment. The food was okay, but not exceptional. The service was BAD - they tried to seat us (party of two) in a cramped corner between two huge groups of people. The waiter was inattentive. Never filled our water glasses. The best was at the end of our meal when, over my shoulder, he asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. When I turned to answer, he was across the room doing something else. Extremely rude. I don't mind spending a lot of money on a nice dinner, but I'm not going to spend that kind of money on a sub-par experience. So Ruth's Chris is off our list. There are plenty of other steak places to try. I would stay away if I were you."

"I have been to this Ruth's Chris several times and every time its been a great experience. I usually get the Chop Salad to start as its one of my favorite non-steak items there. As for the main course I got the 16 oz Ribeye medium and it came out almost perfect. As for sides my wife and I highly recommend the Sweet potato casserole its so good.
I recommend when you order a thick cut of steak like a porterhouse to ask for it the next temperature up. If I wanted the porterhouse medium I would order it med-well."

"We went to Ruth's Chris to celebrate a birthday. The food was great from the bread to the appetizers through dinner and dessert. The waiters brought over a special birthday dessert plate for my 16 year old son that was beyond what you would expect, offering three selections and it was on the house! I would absolutely recommend this steakhouse to all before any other. There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from in Westchester but this one surpasses any other that we have been to for either business or pleasure. It is the one we will go back to."

"I have to say my wife and I Love the Restaurant and the food but this last time there the service was horrible. The waiter was rude it took 25 minutes to place are order and I could not get a second round of drinks for over 45 minutes. Every other time I have been here service was tremendous not once did anyone ask us how thing were or if we needed something. Shame on upper management for not paying attention. "We have been to this location of Ruth Chris several times. The service was awful. Server didn't know it was his table, his name was Mike. He came by to let us know and left. Finally we ordered drinks, took a long time. We ordered dinner (restaurant week menu) and I ordered Med he talked me out of it for Med/well. It was way overcooked, to well. He never came back to ck on our food. My husbands steak wasn't up to its usual quality. Desser was served and coffee order came 10 mins later.
One member of my party had never been to any Ruth Chris restaurants and was totally disappointed. Very very disappointing experience."

"Can't say enough about our experience. From the moment we walked in until the time we left it was fantastic. It was my husband' birthday, which I mentioned when I made the reservations, and they treated him so special without going over the top or embarassing him. Little birthday confetti on the table, a nice birthday wish on his dessert plate...just NICE!! The foot was fantastic; and it was restaurant week which did not seem to affect the quality or service. "My waiter was not paying attention when I gave him my order. He was more interested in making sure his party of four were taken care of. Every time I tried to tell him how I wanted my steak, he was distracted. When I did get my steak, it was too undone for my preference and it had to be sent back. When I did get the steak, it was wonderful as was the whole meal but the waiter needs to be aware that EACH and every person is warranted his undivided attention when he is taking their order.

"Ruth's Chris in Westchester has always been our go-to place for special dinners and occasions, but the last several times we have been there, we have waited for over a half hour, it has been noisy and i notice that they put extra tables in during holidays and like this week, restaurant week. The noise was so loud that I could barely hear my husband speak. I asked for our favorite waiter and confirmed that he was there and we would have him just hours before our reservation, yet, when we got there, the front desk told me he was working a private party. The servers were running around and lots of yelling was going on in the station right behind our wall. For a meal we paid well over a hundred dollars for, it was certainly not worth it."

"It's all about the beef! Fantastic fillet mignon but pass on the extras. We tried both the broiled shrimp and crusted blue cheese toppings, which did nothing but detract from the already excellent meat flavor. Side dishes are uninspiring. Some good wine choices on the lower end of the price scale. Affordable during restaurant week, but the trade off is a very crowded atmosphere with adequate but somewhat hurried waiter service due to the sheer volume of clientele. After adding only the toppings and a bottle of wine to the prix fixe menu it ran $150 with tip."

"Tucked away in the Marriott you would never know this steakhouse even existed. The staff was overly friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and the steak savory, served on a hot plate. The wait time for the food to be served was a little long but the restaurant was at max capacity and the kitchen may have been a little overwhelmed. When a server accidentally placed another tables order on our table, a manager was quick to come over and apologize. I had a great experience and will definitely be visiting again soon!"

"We went for Restaurant week. I would warn that the service staff seems sort of resentful during Restaurant week. We went last year and the waitress actually said it is not worth it. She said if the servers do not cover $90 per person it is not worth her time. We did complain, but she was one of their top servers. This time the server was very good, but was pushy at times; he asked several times did we want Calamari. No one asked for it, but he stated he heard someone ask for it. He asked if we wanted Pelligrino and we asked for tap water, however Pelligrino was charged to our bill. They work really hard and the food is amazing, but I felt like they wanted to intimidate you to order more to make their bill work."

"I made an early reservation since it was Restaurant Week and thought it would get crowded, which it did. Given how crowded it became the service was a little slow but not bad and of course the food was EXCELLENT. I enjoyed it so much I am going back next week. Thanks."

"Food was awesome! The only negative I would mention is that when the two steaks were brought out they never asked who ordered which, and of course they got it mixed up... I got my friend's medium, and she got my medium rare! Oh well...we ate it as it was and both enjoyed it (: Our waiter was excellent! We'll be back for sure."

"The food was outstanding! We went as a family of 4 during Hudson Valley Restaurant week so we paid the fixed price of $29.95 for a three course dinner, which for this restaurant, is a great price. If you choose to order off the menu, dinner will cost a lot more, but very well worth it. The quality of the food speaks for itself. The filet mignon was so tender and tasty. You savor every bite! Every course was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or dining with a group of friends. The only negative was that it was very loud, and because of the prices, it is not a restaurant that we can afford to go to more than once or twice a year. My teenage children loved it as well! There wasn't one thing left on any plate!"
