Dominic's on the Hill
Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.
The second floor of the restaurant is available for private parties of 15-65. Please call for details. Smaller parties up to 18 people can be accommodated downstairs as well as larger parties up to 150.

"My father was at one time the "World's Most Travelled Man" according to the Guiness Book of World Records, and he loved fine dining even before it became a national trend. He used to say that Dominic's on the Hill was not only the best Italian restaurant in the U.S. but the best Italian restaurant in the world. Living out of state I had never had the pleasure of eating here until recently, and I was not disappointed. The neighborhood is a treasure, the staff top notch, and the food is wonderful. A truly classy establishment does everything to make you feel welcome and taken care of, and Dominic's does this in a way you do not see as often as you should these days."

"As an out of towner, this isn't my first visit and won't be my last. Great place for a business dinner as well as a romantic experience for two. Quiet, elegant as well as warm. This is the classiest Italian restaurant I have been to. Not really a good place for kids or loud parties. Upper scale service and dressy attire. Business casual would be fine. There was 6 in our party and not one person was not verry happy with the meal and experience.
Good wine list, but not great. Wine list could be larger."

"As always Dominic's is a great spot for that special night or a wonderful business dinner. Dominic himself always stops by to visit us at the table. His genuine warmth and charm are second to none. We try to get there for dinner once every two months, but decided that once a month is our new goal. That may not be enough. Keep up the great work! Love the place!"

"Despite making an OpenTable reservation weeks earlier, we were seated by the rest rooms. Our waiter was somewhat flip, sloppy, and disppeared for long periods of time. I had to get up and find someone to request the check. Escargot used to be the best ever, but the night we were there, the snails were over-cooked and tasteless. Main courses are now re-heated table side rather than in chaffing dishes, causing the delicious Veal al Limone and Tortellini alla Carbonara to suffer from unappetizing presentation. Banshees used to be a decadent dessert, but this time were made with insufficient liqueur and tasted like vanilla ice cream. The bill for three persons exceeded $350, which excessive for this kind of experience."

"I choose to go to this place for valentine day because we had such a plesant dining experience here before. However, i did not like it for valentine day they made a very limited menu which had only 12 different chooses for entrees compared to the usual 2 to 3 page menu....i was highly disappointed n we felt like our dining experience was rushed....we probably will not be returning there bc we paid $140 for 45 min service...everyones entrees had the same vegetables whether u had salmon lobster r steak u got hard potatoes n a squash medley"

"My wife and I really enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner at Dominic's on the Hill. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner. The waiters (Mark & Tyler) were very attentive to detail, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. We had some questions about some menu items and when we had our selections narrowed down, we asked for their recommendation on what to order...and we were not disappointed! My wife had the Breast of Chicken Marsala and I had the Veal Milanese with Spinach...absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend Dominic's and plan to go back again."
