"I live 50 minutes away from the nearest Ruth's Chris and my family & i made a special trip to dine at the Metairie, LA location to celebrate my 51st birthday. We recently dined at the Windsor Court Grill restaurant in New Orleans, LA to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday and it was unanimous....everyone agreed that Ruth's Chris - by far! out shined the Windsor Court. The food portions, the taste, the quality and the price at Ruth's Chris definatly won hands down. My family and I had decided that night that we would no longer wait til special occasions to dine again at Ruth's Chris. lol...we aren't getting any younger so why only treat ourselves to amazing food just because it is an event to celebrate. Thank You"

"I think Ruth's has lost it's way as a great steakhouse in
New Orleans. Its still a nice place to eat with good services if you like
plain/bland steak. Their steaks have become franchisizied and you don't that great
taste it use to have when there was one Resturant on Broad. I miss that taste. .
Steak needs some seasoning. Add some. If you haven't heard everyone
In New Orleans think Mr. John's has the best steak in town and they do for now."

"Forgot my steak with initial delivery and they then rushed a butterflied filet to me that was overcooked and flattened like a pancake to cook faster..not worth the 31 bucks for a steak i could have ruined at home for free...."

"Delicious, well prepared food, surprisingly varied menu all contribute to a wonderful dining experience. We both had the tender 8 oz. filet mignon, done exactly the way we ordered it, served by an attentive, personable and skilled waitress, Ann Marie.
My husband said that his vodka martini was absolutely the most perfect one he'd tasted. My vodka and tonic was likewise perfection.
We could not have asked for a more perfect dinner in well appointed surroundings."

"We went to Ruth's in Metairie to celebrate our anniversary. They stuck us at a table for two jammed into a corner and then I think they forgot about us. We put in a drink and appetizer order and a half hour later they brought out the apps and then brought our drinks. When we finally got our food my steak wasn't cooked the way I ordered it. At this point I was too tired of waiting to send it back. You would think when you are going to a place like Ruth's and spending $200.00 on a meal you wouldn't have to wait a half hour to get your drink order. The food and the service is much better at the Harrah's hotel location."

"My parents and I love Ruth's and have been going there for a million years - first to Sig's (Ruth's brother's place), then the Ruth's on Broad, and now the one in Metairie. The food is consistently good and the service almost as consistently so. Anne Marie is who we usually ask for but she wasn't working so Sean took care of us, and was a sweetheart.
Thanks again for a lovely evening. We'll be back soon."

"It was almost perfect and I never say that! 2000% better than Ruth's Chris in New Orleans. The service was immaculate. The only thing that would have made it better was a private dining area for a romantic dinner but we did have a small table for two that was out of the way. It was Valentine's Dinner so it was crowded. The staff was unobtrusive but very service oriented. Our waitress gave us perfect service.
I had rib eye steak and my husband had lamb and we loved our food. We highly recommend both! Our drinks were great."

"Dinner was fabulous on a night that is very hard to please everyone-Valentines! Our waiter, Fred was relaxed and friendly, the kind of waiter everyone hopes to get and he had everything down to a science. Every table was full yet our food was right on time. This is the reason why we always go back to Ruth's! They make us happy :)"

"As usual, Ruth's Chris delivers a fabulous meal. Everything is delicious! My only hang up from this visit - I asked 3 times for a black dinner napkin
I never got one. Aggravating, as I had black slacks on and did not want white fuzzys all over from a white napkin. This was really out of the ordinary, as usually they automatically make that change upon you being seated. Other than that, fantasic meal."
