"I took my dad here for Father's Day, he had eaten here before and said that this was the best steak that he had eaten. When we arrived we were seated right away the matre 'd was great. The service from our waiter started off well and he was very attentive but soon forgot that we were even there. We notified the manager and he personally took care of us for the rest of our dining experiance. He quickly took care of our concerns and made us feel like we were the only diners there. I could not have asked for better service!! And this was the BEST steak that I have eaten, I will be back."

"My husband and I ate at Ruth's Chris for our monthly date night. We both had the Ruth's Classic with a choice of soup/salad, main entree, side and dessert. We both had the flier with lobster, shrimp and scallop and it was delicious. Possibly the best meal I've had in years. To top off the outstanding service, the service was impeccable. Brandon was our server - could answer any question about the menu and cocktail/wine list with great recommendations. Juan was our assistant server and my water was never empty. (I drink a lot of water).
We sat on the patio on a Friday night and even though it was a little windy, I enjoyed being outside.
I would definitely go back."

"Reviews we had heard of Ruth Chris was long waits even with reservations, food was ok for the price, and it was very pricey. After our experience at Ruth Chris, we did not have a wait, the atmosphere was very nice, service was nice, food was good. Yes, we agree it was a bit pricey, but we only splurge once in a while."

"KC has a lot of wonderful steakhouses, but we love Ruth Chris and consider it a favorite. The food is outstanding, and this particular restaurant is obviously VERY well managed. From the Valet Attendant that opens the door when you walk in to the entire wait staff that takes care of you, everyone there seems to have genuine care for the guests and takes pride in the brand. Ruth Chris is very consistent in delivering this excellence, every single time. We had a great experience and look forward to returning many times."

"When I am dropping over $300 for a party of 5 I would prefer to see my waiter more often than every 15 minutes. Take your business to Plaza III. It may look more expensive but every thing here is billed ala carte. They were so stingy on bread, probably because it was the only thing they gave away that was complimentary. Had to ask for more bread. The wine glass had a few drops in it and when it was out had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came back to offer more. Food was ok. This place is so not worth the price. Oh and the kicker is - they weren't even busy!!!"

"My husband and i were in town for an event. I reserved our table online the same day before we left town to travel to KC. We arrived at Ruth Chris about 15 minutes early for our reservation and was seated immediately. Service was good, the view of the street was nice, because we enjoy people watching...the food was incredibly good...drinks were great...blueberry mojito was great! Would go back.. :)"

"We went early so there were very few people dining at 5:30 PM. The employees were extremely friendly, almost as friendly as Sullivan's, our favorite steakhouse. We both had the filet mignon and they were cooked perfectly, came sizzling to our table and were very good. We had escalloped potatoes and mushrooms for sides and they, too, were very good. Our waiter, Sean, was extremely professional AND friendly (rare to get both in one person). The only possible complaint I might have would be that it's quite pricey, but we knew that going in. It was a terrific experience and we will definitely be going back to try some of the other items on their menu which looked scrumptious."

"I'm never dissapointed at this Ruth's Chris location. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile. We had a small party of 5, one of which was a 7 year old, celebrating a first communion. The staff catered to our every wish and there were no problems to fix, although I know they would have. A nice selection of wine by the glass, however no half-bottles are carried. Everything was up to Ruth's Chris's standards. I'm not sure if you have to ask for a children's menu because one was not volunteered, however my grandaughter's appetite will soon be graduating. (She thinks the 4oz filet is getting smaller and smaller). Great place to celebrate anything, or just go there to have a great meal."

"The staff at Ruth's Chris went out of there way to make our anniversary dinner special. From being greeted at the door with a "Happy Anniversary" to every staff member that served us also wishing us a "Happy Anniversary". The table was decorate with little hearts and a hand written card from the staff wishing us a special day and thanking us for choosing them to celebrate this day. The wait staff was very knowledgeable on the food and a pleasure to have serve us. Food was outstanding and lived up to their reputation. Overall just a wonderful evening."

"This was our first experience at Ruth Chris.The prices were high, as we expected, but worth every penny and more. Our waiter was very experienced and knowledgeable about the menu. His assistant was young, polite and very schooled at his job. We have had many good dining experiences but this was by far the best. I should probably mention the food.... fantastic! I live in the Midwest, so I am accustom to great steak. My steak (ribeye) was tender, juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection. You may feel dressed down if you show up in a t-shirt and shorts. I would suggest a collared shirt and pants but regardless of what you wear, the staff will treat you like royalty."

"I would not recommend this place for steaks to anyone. The steak was not very high quality and had absolutely no flavor (ribeye). It was basted in butter which to me just made it greasy. The side dishes were not good and the selection of sides was poor, unless you don't have teeth and need to eat soft foods. For the price (way, way) too high for the quality of food. "Arrived just prior to reservation time. Very slow Saturday night. We were seated in a room where there were approximately 20 tables and only 2 occupied. Service was slow for being so empty. Food was good, but not much better than the steaks you would get at Outback or Longhorn. Certainly not what I expected for steaks 2-3 times more with no sides. Waiter did not check on us much, took some time for water to get filled, also took lots of time for our check. We simply did not believe that the place held up to the hype."

"Our server was not very attentive. My group found themselves asking for things multiple times before getting them. Steak and desert was great. Sides not so great. I was disappointed because usually I find this place awesome. Next time I may go elsewhere."

"Ruth Chris was awesome, and the food was out of this world. Now when I see commercials about any chain steakhouse, I turn away because I know it wouldn't even compare to the gravity of the meal I had at this restaurant. I had the Surf and Turn Lobster and Filet and it was just amazing. My date had the petite filet and shrimp, and that was divine. My only complaint is that I had reserved a table and requested a dozen roses to be on the table to bolster a romantic evening, but I arrived to a flowerless table. Nevertheless, when I made the hostess aware of the issue, a manager promptly arrived at my table to explain the complications and then offered a free appetizer! Overall first class experience."
