"My family & I were looking for somewhere that we had never been to take the MOM in our life, for Mothers Day. Glad we chose Ruth Chris; the service was great, food was great, everything was GREAT! The manager even came around to check how our meal was once we finished..gave our Mom a long stem rose, as well as an additional gift (a nice gesture for the occasion, and made her feel more special) I definetly recommend Ruth Chris, and will be going back!"

"Although the food was very good we found that our memories of Ruths Chris were somewhat distorted (it's been 8 years or so). Steaks are still served on extremely hot plates to keep them nice and warm, but the steaks themselves left something to be desired. Both my wife's filet mignon and my porterhouse were surprisingly grisly. There was also a lack of any really good flavor to them. We've been taking date nights to nice steakhouses around Columbus each month and sadly Ruth's Chris didn't even line up with places like J. Alexanders. We simply expected more from a place of this caliber. Although still nice, we won't be returning to Ruths Chris anytime soon."

"It was my male friend's birthday so I wanted to treat him to something special. This place was beyond great!!! The service was super, and everyone was so friendly, the food was so good...words can't explain. The food is pricey but its so worth it. I would definitely go back (on a good pay day). The strawberry chocolate cheesecake was to die for. We even order chocolate martinis and it was the strongest drink i've ever had at a restaurant. Overall I give this place a 15 out of 10..."

"Shannon has been our waitress a couple of times recently and she is the best! I was thrilled when they ask me if I would like a Makers Mark Manhatten--my favorite drink! Still wondering how they knew that! My mom and I split dinner, as we are not large eaters. Some restuarnats frown on "sharing" but Ruth Chris's was delightful! Always expensive but worth a celebration for a special occasion."

"My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. The entire staff was so nice wishing us happy anniversary. This included the mitre de, the manager, our busboy and especially our server Shannon. The food was exceptional with even the strip able to be cut with a fork. My filet Oscar was wonderful. "The food as good as always. The service was lacking this time, however. The "water guys" they hire.... I would be surprised if they had GED's. Not a very intelligent staff. Our waitress was poor and seemed to not care about my table, as my fiance and I are relatively younger people for this place. Again, the food was good, the service was poor. Will be back though because of the steaks."

"This was not my first time at Ruth's Chris. This time we celebrated my husbands birthday. When we got there the table was sprinkled with birthday confetti (not too much to make it cheesy) which was a nice suprise for him. He also received a free dessert with a lit candle. We ordered the special that included a Ribeye and a lobster tail. We ordered ours the same, "medium" but mine came slightly overdone and slightly chewy. His was perfect...not sure what happened there. We both ordered different wines, but when the server arrived, she couldnt remember which was which. With the exception of my steak, and the mix up with the wines, it was a good night. We may return again, but may stick with Smith and Wollensky or Eddie Merlot's."

"If you're willing to spend over 3 figures for a dinner for two, I can't recommend a better place than Ruth's Chris. The steaks always come out sizzling on a heated plate that helps it to stay warm throughout your meal. All of the food is well made and shows obvious care for quality. "We really enjoyed our trip to Ruth's Chris for Restaurant Week. My roommate and I each ordered a speciality cocktail (both were wonderful) and the waitsaff made sure we always had fresh bread and full waters. I ordered the lump crab cakes and my roommate had the filet, both of which were cooked perfectly. The only issue with our entrees was that both our mashed potatoes were luke warm, almost cold. The dessert was wonderful and a perfect ending to the meal. We both agreed we would go back again."

"Went to Ruth's Chris on a slow Thursday night during restaurant week. The food was excellent. The service was very pleasant, but a little scrambled - very long wait for drinks. So long that the appetizer appeared before our pre-dinner cocktails. Items came out in mixed order, appropriate silver or plates not in place prior to food."

"The food was delicious and the dining is very upscale. I would recommend for special occassions unless you can afford to drop $50/person for a meal on an everyday basis. Literally the best steak I have EVER had!!"

"Have eaten at RC many times, of all the times this was the most disappointing...always look forward to the barrel cut filet that is always pictured in your ads....my cut while good was slightly touch and an uncharacteristic amount of gristle. I did not complain since we had a party to attend, and didnt have the time to have a reorder. I am sure my next experience will be better."
