"Very enjoyable ambience with attentive, warm staff. We ate outside in mid-March with a cool breeze and no humidity whereas in summer months this would not be an option. We ordered from price-fixe menu which offers great value to diners whereas the regular menu is pricey. Food quality & preparation are clearly at high end, 8.5/10. Wines by the glass are very limited but the French Merlot was very good ($10.); certainly they should offer more selections here. I had petit filet w/pot. and asparagus as main course preceded by daily soup and spring roll. All were very good. The red wine reduction w/filet was excellent, a 10/10. Desert was included and was top notch. Check it out. BV526"

"We had a large group of family members, nine, and a one year old enjoy brunch at the restaurant in honor of my wife's birthday. Everyone had a great time especially the guest of honor. We had a very nice table with a terrific view and the wide variety of food was quite a treat. Everyone was able to have something that they liked. The service was great as the wait staff kept our glasses full through our luncheon. I would highly recommend the Sundy House for most any occasion."

"Very good overall experience for Sunday Brunch. Price is a little high based on the food selection but the ambiance is first class. Overall the food was very good. Had a late (1:30 PM) seating and they ran out of some items."

"went to sunday house for lunch as i was so impressed with sunday brunch. I must say the food was a little disappointing... mom had a ruben and the meat was tough and not a thinly cut as she would have liked - i had chicken salad with lovely greens, walnuts and berries - but i THINK the chicken meast was canned.
The bloody mary was fabulous and you cant beat the gardens and dining room - it was a pleasant experience."

"This was a place that should have been a fab find but wasn't. 2 of out 4 courses came cold or at room temperature. The tables were so close together that what might have been romantic wasn't. They had two big events so the kitchen was slow. The grounds outside were still beautiful. Our server was very pleasant."

"We actually left before we could be seated. The valet staff was surly. The first lady inside was unfriendly. The hostess was nowhere to be seen. She returned after a 5 minute hiatus with a warm shout of "who's next". We weren't. We were 10 minutes waiting at this point, there were large crowds (30+) of people being moved from room to room as banquet goers. We finally figured out this was going to be an awful dining experience and just left. They were so backed up that our car hadn't even been moved. I had to pay the $5 valet charge, a small price to pay to get out of the service nightmare we were in for. OK for weddings, avoid at all costs if you are a retail customer."

"THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO THE SUNDAY HOUSE AND THE HOSTESS KNEW THAT AND KNEW THAT IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY - FOR SOME REASON SHE SEATED US IN THE WORSE SPOT (talbe for 2 by a doorway that would have been used constantly) She was quick to change our seat to another dining room - which pleased us very much.
Our waiter was courtious and efficient. He kept our drinks filled (champagne or bloody marys) The sunday buffet was fabulous - the items were extensive - and the quality top notch - the carving station consisted of prim rib (which was excellent) roased turkey, ham and leg of lamb.
I was very happy to have spent my birthday at Sunday House but will not wait another year to do so.The gardens and grounds were lovely and not to be missed"

"We went to the Sundy house for Sunday brunch. The restaurant appeared to be overbooked. It was difficult to reach the food stations with many people in line at each station, and no real "start" to each station. Our table was also in a poor area. The table was so close to the wall, that it was almost impossible to get out of the chair. For the price of the brunch, they should make sure they don't overbook it."

"While the final result of this Sunday Brunch experience was good, I would be remiss if I didn't note that we almost left the restaurant because of the chaotic scene upon arrival. Many people, with reservations, were waiting for over 45 minutes and were quite agitated and vocal. There were 2 different people hostessing and it didn't seem as if they had a good system in place. After almost an hour we were fortunate to get a lovely table by the brook and under a canopy of beautiful foliage. The food was plentiful, diverse, and tasty. Regrettably, they never did acknowledge my mother's 80th birthday, even though I mentioned it on my reservation, upon arrival, and to the waitress. I'd return to Sundy House, but not on a SUNDAY!"

"When we first arrived we wallked thhrough the gardsens and I thought "what a beautiful, romantic place". We arrived early and were able to be seated. I was dissapointed in out table - yes we had the gardens to the left of us - but we were at the end of it and all I could see was the plant next to me and the area was rather noisy. Next time I will ask for a better table. I was able to tune it out quickly. The service and food more than made up for it. All of the servers were personable, knowledgeable and and attentive. The food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I also think it is a nice place to bring guests from out of town."

"I have tried a few times to go for brunch, but never was able to get a reservation. Now they started to use "Open Table" and it was a breeze. Someone from Sundy House contacted us the day before and confirmed reservation. Everything was great except for the weather. I am not a big fan of buffets but this was an exception. We had the brunch which was spaced over 2 rooms, everything that we sampled had great flavor and was presented very nicely. The salads all looked and tasted fresh. There was a nice assortment of hot selections including the omelet station, where you could order your own creation, and a slicing station that included ham, turkey and prime rib. Make sure you leave room for dessert they have a wide arrange of sweets with all"

"Overall the dining experience was very good. Not the "typcial" assortment of brunch dishes which rely on heavy traditional American breakfast foods although an assortment good enough to satisfy most any diner.

Please note if weather is very hot or wet, the diner will need to walk through some uncovered areas between the table and the food stations.

Our hostess was very accomodating and recommended we relocate our outside reserved table to inside so as not to get wet in the light rain."

"So delicious and soooo pretty. This is my second time at this restaurant and we wanted to return with our older children and their boyfriends. The evening was just right to outside dining and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. The menu, although limited, offered something delicious for everyone and it was certainly plentiful. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and the bartenders are courteous and helpful. All in all, a wonderful evening!"

"usually we sit outside --that is what is most special about the Sundy House. But the temperatures did not permit us to do so -- we sat inside in the room to the left as you enter (it has big windows that look like they are in a fire house). i sat next to the window though i was really looking at the silverware being distributed from the bar...The food was not as good as it has been in the past, unfortunately. The rolls were hard (and not on purpose) so we had to send them back and ask for more. i had the salmon (which is always good) and my husband had rack of lamb. I would say that the dinner was good, but not exceptional , which is what i was hoping for at this kind of restaurant. I enjoyed the dining but would not rush to go back there."

"My fiancee and I had a lovely lunch on our first time visit to the Sundy House. We were seated on the patio right next to a beautiful water pond with waterfalls surrounded by lush tropical foliage and bamboo. We saw turtles and huge fish in the pond, and even a really neat looking Iguana up in a tree. The service was fantastic, everyone was extremely polite and attentive. The food was fabulous. We both got the cuban sandwich, which was very good - and very big - we wished later that we had split one of those and tried something else along with it. I had a very nice glass of wine. We took a stroll through the gardens area to see more of it before we left. Simply made for a lovely experience."
