"I truly can't believe that I actually made reservations to eat there! They sat me in the bar. It was ridiculously noisy and crowded. Couldn't talk to my date. It was a complete disaster."

"The only good thing about this restaurant is the indoor mini golf course. And maybe the beer prices (happy hr Tues 5pm-close). Otherwise, it was a pretty bad experience. The AC was on way too high, the waiters were not attentive, the food was fine (normal Tex Mex), and it was dark and sketchy. I will not be returning."

"Visited restaurant on Saturday at approximately 6 p.m. for dinner. Host asked if we had a reservation (which we didn't). They looked around and recommended we eat at bar for faster service to avoid long wait for table. We went downstairs pulled out the phone and made a reservation then went back upstairs and got sat right away. Our server even noticed our food didn't come out and she said she would check on it (approx 25 mins). She went to the computer for a while then to the kitchen. The food came out and it was warm. She didn't send over a manager or offer to take care of anything. Not worth the trip back."

"Very cool miniature golf course with tongue-in-cheek District references. Great place for kids 10 and under where the parents can hang out and also enjoy adult beverages (in moderation). The Mexican food is so-so, acceptable but nothing to go back for. It's better than Taco Bell, but not as good as Don Pablo's, just to put things in perspective. It's a fun H Street neighborhood hang out, but I wouldn't go back just for the food."

"H Street Country Club is good for atmosphere -- mini golf, skee ball, shuffleboard! -- but the food is so-so. If you decide to eat here, go for the enchiladas, skip the tacos. The pitcher of house margaritas is all mix, but they have plenty of beer options. Perhaps you should eat somewhere else and come to H Street Country Club for drinks & fun afterwards! The place starts hoppin' after 9p."

"Good place for drinks but not so much for dinner/food. The queso fundido was not good. It was too thick. You needed a knife to cut through it. It tasted like they took polly o string cheese and melted it down. I do like that they used corn tortillas rather than flour. The tacos were decent as well as the pupusa's but the fajitas had no flavor."

"This a fun,exciting location with excellent service from the time you step into the establishment. In our group we had a girlfriend that uses a wheelchair and this establishment was still able to accomdate us, now grant this establishment doesn't have an elelvator so our girlfriend was not able to go upstairs and play minature golf, however, she was still able to enjoy the skeeball and the energy of the people in this business. our waiterss was wonderful in suggestion items."
