Located on the edge of Norwood Center, Olivadi Restaurant and Bar is home to the finest combination of classic and modern Italian cuisine in the area. Whether it’s classic dining, or a quick bite in our lounge, we await you with open arms and amazing aromas.

"After several visit to Olivadis, I have never been disappointed. It is a true dining experience. The wait staff is pleasant and knowledgeable about the items on the menu, the food is exceptional and entrees and desserts are delightfully presented. It is one one of my favorite restaurants."

"Very pleased with whole experience. A guest brought a child which was unexpected and all needs were professionally and smoothly accommodated. One of us left a scarf behind and reservation maker received a call that it was being held. These are good examples of how all went above and beyond to make oue experience a ver good one. "This was our second visit to this restaurant and we were glad we gave it another chance. The food was excellent and our only complain among the four of us was that the short rib was just a litte tough. "I must say that I was highly impressed with most of the food I tried on the menu. I highly recommend the wild mushroom risotto, the tagliatelle bolognese and the meatballs. Ask for the fresh Parmesan cheese. It is really outstanding. The staff was great and always catering to our needs. The food was great. I wasn't thrilled with the pizza dough but the other ingredients were fantastic. All other dishes were superb."

"We had a nice Friday night out at Olivadi. We opted to sit at the the bar, so the ratings with this review reflect the atmosphere on the bar side of the restaurant; however the dining room did look warm and romantic.
The bar scene was upbeat without being overbearing -- a great spot to share a couple drinks and appetizers (or entrees) as you wind down after the work week. Our bartender was attentive, but we never felt rushed. We tried the bruschetta, mussels, and orecchiette. All very delicious and nice size portions; although we could have skipped the bruschetta as the house bread and dip is quite good.
All and all a nice dinner at a place we will certainly revisit in the future!"

"While our party of 4 found the overall experience at Olivadi to be good, we would not rush to go back. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was the biggest disappointment as it was not prepared as the menu indicated. Rather than the promised Browned Butter Sauce, the ravioli was served in what could only be described as a watery squash sauce. Along with little garnish of squash in the middle and the squash in the ravioli, it was too much. One little sage leaf and a few almonds didn't provide any additional flavors or balance at all. The sauces in the other two pasta dishes were also a bit watery, although the flavors were good. The best dish was the Veal Parmagiana. Ambience was a bit more formal than we prefer. Okay, but not great."

Tucked into a side street in Norwood, it serves up rich, tastey Italian style dishes with fresh twists on traditional themes. It's ambience is casual upscale. "We love this place for a date night or a night out with other couples. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Parking is easy and plentiful. We really like the neighborhood feel to this place (as opposed to the Route 1 options or the headache and overcrowded vibe at Legacy or Patriot Place.)."

"We arrived at our reservation time on Valentine's Day and the restaurant was quite busy. We were seated right away and enjoyed a lovely dinner. The Maine crab and risotto cakes were a delicious appetizer, and my entree of shrimp and scallop pappardelle was out of this world! We've never had a bad experience at Olivadi. I even received a red rose from the restaurant at the end of our meal! It was a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner!"

"This was our first time here. Food and service were both very good. There were a surprising number of large, noisy parties with lots of children and patrons dressed VERY casually - didn't seem to fit the atmosphere and not 100% ideal when it was just my husband and me trying to enjoy a quiet dinner out. Also, it seemed colder in there than it should have been."
