"The special antipastas for the day were great but the pasta dish we had could have been just a little less al dente but the sauce was excellent with the rabbit. The rib eye steak could have been more tender but I guess for an italian restaurant beef is not the speciality. My lamb chops had to be returned as it was not very tender and I had trouble chewing it.Very disappointed as the waitress recommended this dish. The halibut special and veal were excellent. Don't forget to order the focaccia bread made in house. In other restaurants we have been the dessert is complimentary for the birthday person so we were a bit disappointed that the restaurant did not do this. All in all an enjoyable experience."

"Went with a friend, and neither of us had been there before. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, knew the specials by heart, and was happy to recommend one dish over another when I couldn't make up my mind between two. For starters, my companion had the lobster soup and pronounced it delicious; I had the special, the burrata, which was as beautiful to taste as to look at. For mains, she had the ling cod, and I had another special, the veal ossobucco - two more winners. And both the lemon tart and the cheese plate were wonderful, though the cheese plate is meant to be shared. The service was attentive but we were not hurried along, though we sat and talked for at least an hour after our wine was finished and the bill was paid. Fanta"

"Absolutely fantastic food. Service was slightly OTT and a bit annoying after a while - too rehearsed to a point of insincerity... some times it's nice just to have polite service and be left alone. BUT the food and service from all other staff was completely outstanding, so professional and honestly the food was really delicious!"

"The food was very good but I wouldn't say outstanding for the price on our visit. What really stood out for me was the very friendly people serving you which created a wonderfully relax and happy atmosphere the moment the greeted you at the door.
Above I said I would reccommend Lupo and I would but with a bit of caution thrown in about food impression vs price. There is a point where you cross over in price that expectations become far more demanding and I honestly feel (and soo did our party) that Lupos is overpriced (especially their specials)for the taste experience offered."

"Chose this restaurant as it advertises on the celiac scene website. I did leave a note on opentable that I'm celiac when I made the reservation, but I don't think anyone at the restaurant read it. Waiter was nice and would have been good if I didn't have celiac, but was not knowledgeable about gluten free eating. Few choices for a gluten free vegetarian.

"lovely menu.veal dish was moist and tasty,pasta cooked to perfection,porkloin also very nice. Surprised when we ordered a cheese platter for the table with dessert that the cheese was served too cold to be enjoyable .Plus presentation was terrible plops of chees thrown on a plate. Take it off the menu if you can not do it right. plus our waitress was too chatty ,had a hard time enjoying the company at our table. We will be back tho because most of the meal was a welcomed surprise."

"We loved that it was close to our hotel. We were looking for a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. Found this online and liked the reviews. The waitress was very patient and knowlegeable. Everything that we ordered was well prepared and delicious from the appetizer to the coffee. A bit pricey but worth it."

"Quaint house, modern unpretentious feel. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned exceptionally. The chef and cooks in the kitchen know what they're doing and this is coming from their point of view. As a growing cook myself I have become a hard judge but the clearest form of good food is simple deliciousness and Lupo delivered. Desserts were bang on and interesting texturally, not over sweet. I would recommend and definitely go back!"

"Went to Lupo on a Sunday, was quiet and romantic. Service, food ,ambiance was exceptional. Husband had the caesar salad, and canelloni, I had the arugula salad with fresh oranges, and the penne bolognese. Can't wait to go back to try the other dishes. We heard about this restaurant from my daughter and son-in-law. This is where he proposed to her and I couldn't think of a more romantic spot! Also a very good wine list to choose from."

"Prices was too expensive for the food. The taste and outcome of the food wasn't good but not bad. For starters we ordered the chorizo but what came out was pretty interesting. 2 thin slices of chorizo, a thin slice ham on a bed of beans for $12. Then for main I ordered lamb ossobuco, it was dry on the outer portion and rissoto wasnt that tasteful. My wife ordered canneloni, same thing, it wasnt bad but nothing great. I just hate restaurants who have an expensive menu but still charge extra for bread and olive oil. I didn't even bother complaining because i knew when they brought out the appetizers, this resto isn't worth my money."

"Outstanding service. Our server let us switch to a different bottle of wine after opening a bottle we didn't like. this bottle wasn't part of the single serve menu so that was very accommodating. Very noisy. I was hoping for a more interesting pasta menu but the food was good. It was unfortunate that they never had the gas fireplace on. All in all a nice dinner out."

"My husband and I have been to Lupo once before, and decided to go for Valentine's Day this year. To our surprise, we had the same server we had at our previous visit, Moe, who treated us so well previously. Again, Moe made our experience a great one. So friendly and helpful, his suggestions for Wine and Grappa were excellent and his meal recommendations did not disappoint. For us, Moe is what makes our experience at Lupo so fantastic. Often times, even with outstanding food and outstanding cocktails, a server can't keep up. But in the case of Lupo, they've got it all! We will definitely be back."

"My wife and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at Lupo. While Lupo was fully booked on this night, it remained comfortable and unrushed. The food still came out in a timely manner and the staff were as friendly and professional as ever. I also liked that they didn't reduce their offerings to a set menu to make life easier for themselves.

"Chris remembers us every time we go for dinner at Lupo, and we have only been 3 times. We were treated to a glass of bubbly when we arrived, and our server Nathan- made it an evening to remember. Each 'special' he explained with ease and knew exactly how to explain the flavours and presentation of the meals. He was an incredible server, and while we were there I noticed that a lot of the servers had been there since our first visit 2 years ago- which to me is a good sign of a good place to work. We had a memorable night, and we will definitely be returning for dinner in the future."

"Went to Lupo this weekend for a birthday dinner with some friends. Wonderful food (try the pumpkin tortellini), really great service, nice wine list, no complaints there at all. My only complaint would be that we were seated right next to the front door where there were crowds of people waiting for a table. They were literally all around us. I noticed that some people who did not have reservations were seated at much better tables than we had. I think if someone indicates in the reservation that it's a special occasion, then a better table is warranted."
