"The menu has changed and for the better. We started with a salad which was tasty, a vinaigrette dressing over greens. The Salmon was delicious, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside ( and no sauces ! ), with fingerling potatoes, very good. The napoleon dessert was really good, great amount of strawberries on top, and light. I ordered a siraz, but was served something else. I had a glass of the Rhone ( french wine ) and that was much better. Great meal. ready to go back"

"I cannot eat here without getting the surf and turf tartare appetizer, which is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. I had a soft shell crab entree and my husband had the beef tenderloin special; both were amazing. I can't wait to come back!"

"My wife and I have dined in Paris, Reims (Le Parc Les Crayeres) and Chartres. Although Jean-Robert's Table doesn't match the ambience of dining in these places his food is superior to anything we were served in France. Always a delightful experience!"

"We have been to Jean-Robert's Table several times in the past, with good experiences. Usually, we will go when our son comes in from New York City for a visit. This time, though, our experience was disappointing. Our waiter was presumptuous and as a result, made the experience a stressful one. The food was very average. Three of us had filet mignon and we all three rated it at a C level; not cooked properly and tasting pedestrian. Our waiter, at the end, never offered us coffee, which would have gone well with the deserts we ordered. We were just severely disappointed with the overall experience for my wife an I , and our son and his girlfriend."

"Jean Robert's Table has joined the club of arrogant restaurants who don't believe that a customer's original reservation is sufficient. I was irritated to find that the message I was left to confirm my reservation insisted that I call them back--a practice I call "remaking my reservation." It's bad enough that the message this sends me is that they presume I am irresponsible and will not honor the commitment I made. Even worse, when I reluctantly returned the call not ten minutes later, I got their voicemail: a long message that ended by telling me that I could not leave a message for them! Calling yet again, I finally got a live voice, who, without even allowing me to say a word, put me on hold! This is NOT the way to treat customers!"

"Over all the experience was good. The food was great. We both got the more affordable ($22-26) entrees and two glasses of wine. The chicken my date got was amazing but the pork dish I got was a little dry but still decent. We also got a desert but felt very limited; my date and I wanted ANYTHING other than gelato and were left with little to no options. Also, at the $10 dollars I rather have gone and gotten something from Graters.
The biggest issue I had with Jean-Robert's table was the service. The server seemed more focused on her side jobs than being attentive to our needs. There were a number of times when we had to flag down the servers assistant to help us because we hadn't seen our server in 15-20 minutes."

"Jean Robert continues to amaze with the local yet diverse ingredients in the menu. The server was extremely knowledgeable out the menu, history of the restaurant and even the artwork used ... very impressive. Overall, my wife and I left the restaurant satisfied (not stuffed), and full of compliments for the chef. A 9.0 out of 10.
The only think that took away from the experience was that our comments on the open table were not acknowledged (a milestone birthday)."

"We had a wonderful evening. The food was magnificent! Our waiter was so personable and attentive, probably the best waiter that we have ever had. They were very accommodating for my wheelchair and any needs that I had. Our waiter even had someone in the kitchen cut up my food so that my husband didn't have to take extra time from his meal to do that. The chef came out to greet us at the end of our evening and remembered us from visits to his other restaurant, over 4 years ago. We will return and take friends."

"The food, service and ambience are unique in this area. I had heard about Jean-Robert's Table from a Cincy area resident and we were not disappointed in any aspect of our dining experience, beginning with very reasonable and friendly valet parking, to a waiting drink at the full service bar to the round of appetizers and entrees and desert. The cuisine is very adventurous without being stuffy. The table side service is impeccable. I would recommend J-R's Table for special occasions, business meals and just for the enjoyment of a one-of-a-kind experience in Cincinnati. It is somewhat expensive, but worth the price. Don't go if you are looking for cheap because you will be disappointed."

"Good food. Chef just needs to follow instructions when particular ones are given. We ordered the duck to be medium-well and it came out rare, since that is what the chef recommended. We could not eat it this way, so they took it back and put it under a heat lamp to cook it more, which just dried it out. Other dishes were very good though."

"We made a reservation for 8.30 pm, arrived on time & were kept waiting for our table for about 20 minutes. Other people who arrived at about the same time were also kept waiting for their tables. The service was just OK. I had to top up my own wine at least once due to the waiters' inattention. My husband didn't enjoy his starter (oyster omelet) which he described as wet & not a great consistency. My rabbit starter was tasty. His main course (scallops) was good but my burger was so peppery that I could hardly taste the meat. Also the rest of my plate was covered in fries which were covered in potato chips - surely a case of overkill?! Overall it wasn't terrible but not nearly as good as its reputation led us to expect."

"We have been to Jean Robert's Table several times. The food and the service always are very good, but this visit was the best. The food--all courses--was to die for. Service was attentive on a relatively slow night (Monday); everyone was friendly and attentive. This is a great spot, either for a casual foodie experience or for a special occasion."
