"This was my first time to Greenhouse, and I went per suggestion by a roommate. The place itself is great. I really enjoyed the outdoor dining, and our waitress was wonderful; however, I was rather disappointed in my dinner. I ordered the lamb burger, and for $17 for a burger, I expected it to be fantastic, but I was severely disappointed. It was way too salty. I could not taste anything but salt. It came with fries which were also way too salty. I only ate bites of the burger and a few fries. I did take it to go, but threw it away as soon as I got home knowing that I'd never eat it. I will give the Greenhouse another shot, but I definitely will not be getting the lamb burger again."

"We were wandering downtown with friends from NYC when one of them said "I follow the chef/owner's wife on twitter!" we popped in for a "snack" which turned into two hours eating, drinking, and enjoying the rooftop bar afterward. The food was amazing - one of those restaurants where every bite is unique and wonderful. You have a difficult time choosing which is the best food on the table. Love the bar, too: interesting craft beer selection. Our friends were impressed, too, and they are foodies with NYC standards! Definitely our new favorite Cleveland restaurant."

"If you just went for the wings its get 6 out of 5, but the waiter almost seemed disappointed we didnt want to do the tasting. He was weird with us after the order of wings and a burger. Wings werre reasonably priced but burger was waaaay overpriced at $17. Not nearly worth that."

"The Greenhouse Tavern is an exceptional eatery from the up cycled interior, service and especially the local farm to table menu concept. Chef Sawyer is a genius with unique taste combinations. Our Mothers Day dinner started with an unexpected complimentary glass of champagne! We enjoyed the "best pasta I have ever tasted" ! What a unique combination with a fresh taste! I consider myself and our fellow diners I was with as "foodies". We appreciated our dining experience and thought about it for an hour as we drove home!"

"Get the chef's tasting menu so you can try all 4 courses. We both ordered that and got to try 8 different items. All delicious! The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and makes excellent recommendations. The popcorn dessert was wonderful. "Had a great dinner at the Greenhouse Tavern. Not an extensive menu, but that is a good thing - everything on the menu is very interesting and different. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our appetizers and main courses.

"By far, the worse dining experience of my life. I feel like I have post Geenhouse Tavern stress syndrome. It was too noisy for conversation and did not seem to be clean. The service was horrible and the waitress Lindsey was rude and condescending. When we asked about a menu item - "What are devils on horseback?" She snapped back with "This a french restaurants. Those are dates. Don't you know what dates are?" The portions were miniscule for the price. Four pencil size asparagus were $12.00. The Fred Flintstone rib (very french? right?) at $43.00 was fatty and just dumped in the middle of the table with no serving pieces. French fries are cooked in duck fat. Eat here often and you might have a heart attack before your next birthday."

"We had reservations for two for dinner and had a nice time. Service was helpful and attentive. Our waitress was able to answer questions about the menu - which did need some explanation. Our appetizers and both entrees were flavorful, if a little over salted. The atmosphere is tough to classify, as there are a couple of different seating areas - but tends to be casual/trendy and not quite as romantic as we might have hoped. Overall, a good experience."

Particularly unique among its peer restaurants is that the chef here has clearly given thought and applied his amazing creativity to healthful but delicious options. There is an excellent selection of vegan and vegetarian options. And in place of such unwelcome enhancements as butter and cream sauces, the chef substitutes creativity and imagination in the employment of healthier options like yogurt and vegetable purées."

"The Greenhouse Tavern is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Cleveland. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! The food, service and ambiance are all wonderful and they just all make for a great dining experience. I have to say that if you go here, you must get the wings, they are the BEST around and no this place is not a wing joint, but they are truly the BEST! However, to be fair all the food that I have had there is absolutely wonderful!"

"We went to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. We were disappointed that the kitchen was out of several of the "big" dishes, so he settled on the Lamb Burger. I had the Steak Frites. Both were very good. We ordered a first and a second plate...the Crispy Hominy was like biting into a bunch of limes- the flavor was too strong and you couldn't enjoy the other parts of the dish. The Stuffed Seminola Pasta was quite delicious. Can't rave enough about the Buttered Popcorn Pot de Creme.
Overall very good food, but still disappointed that we couldn't get the Pig's Head or Short Ribs for the celebration."

"We went for a pre theater dinner. I had the spring pasta dish and it was absolutely delicious. My fellow diners loved their salmon- they said it was cooked perfectly. The meals and especially the desserts were innovative, but fun. Would recommend to anyone who loves locally sourced foods."

"We enjoyed the best meal I ever had at greenhouse Tavern on Saturday! We sat downstairs in the kitchen at the counter. We had the four course tasting menu it was a great deal and fantastic. We started with the devils on horseback followed up with the beet soup and winter carrots my wife had the pasta and I had the 40 date aged steak. I normally don't eat desser, but we split the caramel popcorn Brulé. Our server Jody was attentive and friendly. The food was so good I was actually giggling with glee at many of the tastes. The kitchen also gave us a taste of the shrimp risotto which was unbelievable. Once again it was the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant."

"We were sat downstairs at one of the chef's tables. It was a bit hot temperature wise being so close to the kitchen but a great atmosphere. This is definately not a place for a quiet dinner no matter where you are sat in the restaurant. I was with a group of friends so this was not an issue for us. The tasting menu, which most of our party ordered, was economical and phenomenal in taste."

"Scott and Brenda Kim have put their all into Accent. The vibe is fresh and hot and vibrant. Very urban. The food, oh the food: is a kaleidoscope of taste, spice, sweet and sour, asian and not. Accent has two special ovens that bring foods to new levels of yum; they caramelize everything from mushrooms to marshmallows ( not to be missed). We have to fight ourselves not to order things we have ordered before because there is too much to experience. Be adventuresome or not, you will love Accent."

"Really good food and really good service. Portion sizes are inconsistent so it helps to ask server about this. As with many nose to tail restaurants, the vegetarian offerings are just as good as the meaty ones. Ask to sit at counter at kitchen in lower level. Limited seating but it's great if you can snag a seat."
