Combining upscale American bar classics with Europe’s spirited social sensibility, The Windsor is a welcoming neighborhood venue for relaxed drinking and dining situated in the heart of New York’s West Village. Attracting both a local and international crowd with its smart, casual ambiance, the restaurant offers lunch, brunch, dinner, and bar service, including specialty cocktails, exotic bottled beers, premium spirits and fine coffees. The décor is handsome and inviting with dark gray pin stripe cloth on the walls and worn leather burgundy booths. From noon until night, it’s an ideal spot to take in games and sporting events, as each booth in the restaurant is equipped with its own flat screen, high definition television. While graciously serving the great and the good in this charming neighborhood location, The Windsor prides itself on offering stylishly hearty American fare in a rightly unpretentious yet refined atmosphere.
"Restaurant should not make reservations as they don't actually reserve tables. We wanted an 8:30 spot but couldn't get one until 9:30. When we arrived, it was literally SRO, and they couldn't find a place for us, so we went elsewhere."

"The food was surprisingly amazing, especially because I expected typical bar fare. It gets very crowded but thanks to opentable we got a great table. The only downside was that it took about 15 mins to get a menu. The host sat us and the waiter completely forgot about us! He was pretty overwhelmed with the crowd but felt bad that he forgot about us and was very attentive for the rest of the night."
