Europa - Richmond
Europa now celebrating its 10th anniversary, has just completed a major face lift. The décor is simple and sophisticated; the atmosphere is casual and modern. There is a new private dining room on the entry floor that can accommodate seated dinners for up to 36 guests. The downstairs lounge and dining room also has all new furnishings and makes a perfect setting for larger private functions. The menu focuses on Italian and Spanish specialties. There are more than 30 small plates to choose from. Select one for an appetizer or make a meal out of a few. Entrees include a variety of Italian classics focusing on fresh seafood, hearty meat dishes and delicious pastas. Don’t miss our weekly specials including Tapas night on Sunday, with ½ off tapas all night. Go to our web site for more great weekly specials. Dinner begins at 5:00 nightly and free parking is available. Reservations are recommended.

"Everything was very tasty. Only complaint was how slow the service was. We were a big group but there were almost no other customers. They get positive points for bringing out the kids food first. But some adults received food when others were finished eating theirs. They added a 20% gratuity since we were a big group. I generally tip 20% anyway, but most restauants add 18% for groups."

"Busy night in the restaurant with lots of large parties. Had to wait despite a reservation. The host touched based often and offered complimentary beverages while we waited. We received good service after we were seated despite the crowd. We'll go back."

"I made a reservation a few days before for my entire family. We were immediately seated, the service was fast and friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable! We received our food super fast and it was by far some of the best food I've ever had. The tapas were big (for a tapa size) so two completely filled me up. The sangria was also on point (coming from someone who lived in Spain). Definitely recommend as a hot spot in Richmond. Can't wait to go back!"

"Overall, very good and we will go again. It took a LONG time for our food to come out of the kitchen. We were apologized to twice by two different wait staff. My shrimp in my seafood dish was overcooked. The dish was still very tasty."

"Everything that we tried was superb, our waitress ( Katelynn) was very knowledgeable with all the dishes and recommended a lot. We were extremely pleased with every dish; aspargus, garlic shrimp, crab stuffed shrimp, chicken and chorizo peppers, dusted potatoes, butternut squash and bacon wrapped dates. The bacon wrapped dates were my favorite. The next time we are in Richmond, we are definately going back!"

"We were there during the St Patrick's celebrations. I'd made dinner reservations, so we were escorded past the line of people waiting to get in. We were treated extremely well, our waitress was awesome (and very cute!), and the food was great. What a fun and comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely come again!"

"This was the second person I brought to Europa that had never been and it did not let us down. From the starters to dessert it was incredible. The staff was great as well. I am not a huge fan of downtown however I do enjoy the ease of the parking and this section on Cary largely due to Europa."
