"Not so good. Menu is dated circa 1985. Food is ok, setting is old and tired. Too many vibrant menus and quality ti choose from. Can not recommend to anyone with taste buds or who wants a quality food experience"

"The food was very tasty and the staff was very nice. My major complaint was the table. We were in a room off the bar area with a couple of large parties. Not idea for a table of two celebrating a birthday. That most certainly changed and downgraded the experience. Our experience in the other dinning room was much more pleasant. The staff offered to move us, but the only other room that had availability had a party of 50."

"As usual, the food was very good. The only surprise came at the time of the check, when we found out that the appetizer we shared cost $25. That was more than my entree. The waiter did not mention the cost of any of the specials, which included the appetizer that we ordered. If you go to D'Angelo's, ask the waiter what the specials cost before you order them, otherwise you are in for an unpleasant surprise."

"Incredible food (calamari and veal sorrentino) and wine that tastes like neighborhood bottles from small Italian towns. The service gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our dinner. Excellent find."

"This restaurant never lets us down, it is consistently the best Italian food in Philadelphia! I also get the chicken parm and it is unbelievable. All their food is freshly prepared and reasonable priced for the high quality your getting. Also their is a dance/small club below the restaurant so after dinner you can walk downstairs and dance and listen to good music!"

"We love to visit this "Neighborhood Gem" when we get to the city. It's a great classic Italian Family owned Restaurant. The food is ALWAYS EXCELLENT! This last visit was on a Monday night. We sat upstairs next to the window overlooking the white lighted trees outside. It was quiet and lovely. The chicken escarole soup was the best that I've ever had and my Braciolletini was amazing! I Highly Recommend!"

"Food was horrible. Bread & wine was the best part of meal. I can't beleive authentic italians own it. The friday/saturday scene was nice so this is why i tried it out. Waitress offered to take my meal off menu but I hate doing that...its a shame its such a cute place"
