Sunnyside
Sunnyside's spectacular location on the pristine West Shore makes it the place to be in Lake Tahoe. Panoramic views of the lake and mountains beyond abound from nearly every table and during the summer, guests can also enjoy alfresco dining on Lake Tahoe’s largest outdoor deck.
The Lakeside Dining Room features new American cooking – fresh, vibrant presentations of American classics with a focus on premium seafood and steaks. The award winning wine list has been carefully selected to complement the menu and offers a wide variety of wines including some rare & limited offerings.
Our Mountain Grill offers a more casual menu serving both lunch and dinner and is seated on a walk-in basis only.
Sunnyside is also a classic lakefront lodge with guest accommodations overlooking Lake Tahoe. The 23 mountain inspired lodge rooms are inviting places to sink into after the day's activities.

"The setting was an A plus. While it was a buffet, the service was excellent--bringing drinks from the bar, clearing plates and making sure everything was just right. The food was very good as well. I think the desserts shoud have included more chocolate items as it was Mother's Day and women love their chocolate. Overall, it was a great experience!"

"We had a lovely Easter dinner at Sunnyside... Our favorite place on the West Shore! The service was exceptional! Archie, our server, was engaging and made wonderful recommendations for our dining experience. We sat next to the window at sunset... Breathtaking. "We have been coming to sunnyside for a long time with our children on our ski vacations. We love it a d again had a wonderful dinner. All of the 5 of us (including 2 vegans) enjoyed our me. Great wines as we. Hula pie is a must have every visit!"

"The restaurant at Sunnyside has amazing views of Lake Tahoe - see if you can get a table near the window. The food is competently prepared if not outstanding. Can get a little noisy, but we were with our own kids, so that was fine by us. The cosy intimate atmosphere is what stands out, and I could imagine on a snowy night, it'd be even more fantastic!"

"We were a fairly large group of 7, and we usually expect the service to be a bit slower when we dine out, but that was not the case with Sunnyside. Every bit of the meal was delicious (the lamb special particularly so), and the service was quick and wonderful. I would highly recommend Sunnyside to anyone looking for exceptional dining on the west shore of Lake Tahoe."

"Extremely nice front desk, (hostesses), immediate seating for me even though my spouse was parking the car. (I did not have to stand and wait at door for him-which I appreciated on a very cold night). Sat us next to sliding glass door, and said if it were at all chilly there, they would move us. Waitress, buser, server we all happy, smiling and courteous. Food was excellent and lots of skiers were arriving after a sunny day of skiing. Beautiful building overlooking Lake Tahoe, unfortunately no view because of darkness. We love this restaurant which is less than 1 mile from our cabin. The interior of this restaurant is "Old Tahoe" and sets the theme of the meal. The food was excellent and presentation was lovely."
