"We enjoied our dinner there but it was nothing spectacular. We were given a gift certificate and drove 5 hours to Jackson just to go to this steakhouse. Sure the food was good but exceptional..no. Our waiter was good but not friendly. My drink ran out and was not offered to be refilled.
All in all I would say we all agreed it was good but not even close to what we were expecting."

"Our recent trip to Jackson Hole included The Million Dollar Steakhouse which was the icing on our cake. Really enjoyed it. Steaks were great and the Truffle Parmesion Fries for an App were to die for. Little pricey but what isn't in Jackson Hole. We will defiantly done here again."

"We are locals - this is our favorite restaurant in town. Food is excellent . If there was one thing to improve upon it would be the service. All of the servers seem so rushed. Not the customer service focused staff you would expect from a restaurant charging the prices they charge. As a customer you want to feel welcome and relaxed. The current state at the CowboySteakhouse is hurried and rushed. I just want to relax and enjoy. Please slow down and make us feel welcome!"

"Unfortunately, not as good as it has been in the past . . . or maybe I've just always spent too much time in the bar first. Prime rib wasn't very flavorful. Our waitress FORGOT to put in our appetizer order. She also forgot that I had ordered an IRISH coffee and re-filled it (when half full) with the regular coffeepot, which pretty much ruins the idea. Didn't live up to our expectations."

"The Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse (and the Cowboy Bar up above it) are historical landmarks in Jackson Hole. And the food is just as good as the ambiance! Excellent game dishes on the menu, and very friendly service."

"It has the potential to be romantic but because it's so popular it does get pretty noisy. The food really is excellent. I come from an extremely foodie city and the appetizers here are worth working through. The jalopena Poppers with frois gras is rediculous. Theyre hot but the combination of the stuffing, the elk bacon and the mole is by far the best popper I've ever tasted. you get 3 of them so it's great for sharing and the pricing is very reasonable considering the ingredients and methodology used to produce the excelent food. Simplicity is not a skill underutilized either. somethings aren't meant to be messed with.... like my 20oz dry aged steak always cooked exactly to perfection. I've ordered it 4 times now. Same with the burgers."

"We had our 30th wedding anniversary that night and had three different employees come to our table and congratulate us, and also brought us a free appetizer before dinner."

"The food was horrible, the service was average at best (we waited for someone to come to our table for almost 20 mins), they ran out of mashed potatoes at a steak house, the steak was horrible!"
