"Even though I called over 1 week in advance my table was placed right in front of the kitchen. I requested to be moved, which was done. When the other guests arrived shortly after they requested to be sat outside. Which was granted. The first person to arrive was still waiting for their glass of wine which was not delivered until we were sitting outside, even though the waitress did come by to reaffirm the wine order. The server was difficult to locate. Took way to long to receive drink order, food order and bill. The server was not attentive at all. The only time any server was attentive was when we were paying the tab. Very sad. I was hoping for a good experience and to put this restaurant on my list of to go to places."

"I recently attended the Richmond Hill location at lunch time on a weekday. I reserved a table for myself and 4 work colleagues. I requested a round table (to help facilitate conversation with our group). The table provided was not ideal (too close to the cooking/prep/kitchen area) so we asked for another table and our request was granted with no hassles. Come early if you want lunch for a large group. We got there at 11.45am and by 12.30pm the place was pretty busy...
A great menu with lots of options- a nice ambience and decor with a fabulous wine list.

"It is a chain, but I would rather eat at Moxies. Unfortunately 2 of 5 meals were unacceptable; although they were removed from the bill with apologies, it was not a 'foodie' experience. on a positive note, the wine was reasonable!"

"Fettetuni Alfredo was quite oily and the bacon and pepperoni pizza very dry. We did mention it to the server but It was like "oh, ok".
We had a gift card and the restaurant machine did not accept so we were not allowed to use the gift card. The server did confirm our gift card was valid and he talked to his manager BUT the manager said since the restaurant machine cannot accept the gift card, there was nothing he could do. the manager didn't even bother to come over and apology and there was no offer such as may be even a free desser or a free coupon for next visit......
Overall, it was not a very good experience."

"Went to this location for a girls night/birthday dinner. The service was quick pleasant. Just before our dinner the music was turned up very loudly, so much so that many others in the lounge looked to the bar to see what the issue was.. Even though other diners didn't seem to appreciate the increased volume, it was left that loud.
We were approached during the middle of our meal and asked to take a survey and informed we would get a free dessert for doing so. After paying and leaving the restaurant we realized that we did not receive one of our desserts for free, and still have not received an email coupon for one (weren't sure which is was supposed to be).
Food was good and atmosphere was alright, would probably dine there again."

"I loved the large open space and how it was nicely laid out. The tables were set so that they were not intrusive on other's space. The servers came and introduced themselves promptly and were friendly. They did not hover but came when appropriate and gave us time to decide. My friends were able to get the wine they wanted. I ordered from the $25 set menu which had 3 starters, soup or salad, three choices of main course and desserts. My friend ordered from the menu. The bread was hot and delicious. We did not have to wait long to be served. Everyone loved their meal. I had the sole which came wrapped in parchment with tiny potatoes, cheeky little tomatoes and an absolutely delicious flavour. Great coffee. I would go back any time."

"I had booked a table for 2, 1 week prior to valentines day due to an advertised lobster and steak meal. When the main course arrived I noticed the advertised lobster chunks were actually overcooked and stringy shrimp. I would have appreciated a warning prior to being seated because that was the selling point for me. Also running out of the main course at 8:30 on such a busy night is ridiculous. Was not offered compensation. . Worst of all, we were seated under a spot light when everyone else had their table lit with candles. Will not return."

"I went to this restaurant with a large group of friends. We were young and the majority of us were new to this environement. We were scared the waiter's would overlook us and that we would we loud and totally out of place. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. The provided a friendly environement and the service was outstanding! I would reccomend this restaurant if you're bringing a group of friends and just wuilling to have fun! The food was..okay."

"The hostesses and our server were all very friendly and helpful. They welcomed me warmly and knew my name right away. We'd made reservations and my friend had arrived before me. She had been shown to the table and was made comfortable while she waited.
Our server was attentive with the right balance of leaving us to our conversation and being there when we needed him.
All in all it was a great dining experience."
