"I have eaten many times at Globe earth Rosedale. This was my first time at earth West. It was a Wednesday night and not very busy so it is hard to comment on the ambiance. However, the service was fantastic. Our waitress knew all about the different wines and made excellent food recommendations. The food, as expected, was delicious. I would definitely go there again."

"Used to come to earth all the time. I actually had a private dinner for 15 on my 30th birthday there. Well I went again last Sunday for Mother's Day which was the first time in about a year and it was horrible. Service was slow, food was not great at all. I have to say, I will not be going back. My earth days are over."

"Earth was everything I had hoped it would be. I went there for a special dinner, and that's exactly what I got. Excellent food. Outstanding service. The croquettes alone were worth the visit. I will be going back."

"We enjoyed the food, which while not overly inventive, represents local contemporary cuisine quite well. Still, we chose this restaurant for a special birthday and were disappointed by the inattentive and excruciatingly slow service. While it is not a fine dining restaurant, it was shocking to see how our server reached over guests when it was just as easy to walk behind. Our server was absent-minded and had to be explicitly asked for everything. When we asked for wine to be replenished during the inexcusable gap between courses, we practically had to flag the server down to remind him. The wait between starters and mains was over 1.5 hrs such that we could not even have dessert as our 3 hrs of parking ran out due to the wait!"

"While our server was witty, charming and lovely, the timing of the meal was incredibly slow. 2 courses over 3 hours is a touch extreme. The food and ambiance were wonderful."

"Fell short of expectations and the glowing reviews I'd read. Not sure if they were struggling to keep up with the Easter brunch crowd, but service felt like chaos central. We waited over an hour for our mains to be served, while the table next to us arrived later but had their mains first. Waited forever to order (and receive) a bottle of wine. Server messed up the kids' orders. And finally, we ordered four chocolate tortes. 15 mins later our server comes up to ask us, "That was four apple crumbles, right?". Sigh. Well, at least he checked with us first.
The food, although tasty, was nothing exceptional. However, we did love the decor and vibe."

"We brought friends from NYC and England who wanted to try local food. Our server was most helpful with menu choices, and everyone enjoyed their dinners. The pre-dinner martinis were a hit. The one disappointment about the meal was a local wine, the red wine from Tawse, which was on the thin side, i.e., not particularly flavourful. We weren't able to impress our visitors with this wine. Our second bottle was an Australian red, which was much better. I rated the "ambiance" as "good" only because the restaurant seemed to be deserted that evening. I think that there were only 3 or 4 tables of diners, including ours."

"Our experience was... good. Not amazing but there was nothing terrible about it either. Food was well-cooked and executed, but there was nothing stand-out about flavours, or overly inventive about the the dishes.Mains are on the small side - one of our diners ordered two dinners (he's 6'3" though). I probably wouldn't go back simply because I wasn't blown away by the food."

"Had a SPECTACULAR time! Took my friend there for her birthday and we were spoiled. The server (Al) was engaging without being intrusive. The menu was original and the tastes were out of this world. We were taken care of beautifully. I would highly recommend dining at this restaurant and I will return soon!"

"Went for dinner on Superbowl Sunday and essentially had a private dining experience, which was nice since it was a birthday dinner for my partner. Service and food were excellent. My partner had the lobster bisque (daily soup), beef tenderloin (cooked: medium-rare), and sticky toffee pudding while I had the autumn beet salad, pan-seared pickerel and the milk chocolate pudding. STANDOUTS: the mains were cooked to perfection, the pickerel was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sticky toffee pudding is a MUST try for all sweet-toothes. It is sweet as it should be and the texture is exceptional."

"We were there a few years ago and it was very good both times. The waitress was attentive and the food that our party of four had was all good. I will return there sometime this year. With a $64 bottle of wine the cost for two including taxes and tip was $191.00"

"Beautiful, classy ambience. The food was absolutely delicious - the 'Earth greens' salad was the best salad I've had anywhere - a diverse mix of textures and tastes - fresh, crispy, tangy, citrusy but nothing overpowering - the riesling vinaigrette a perfect balance. We had a 4 course prix fixe, and due to the healthy serving sizes, the delicious french onion soup hardly seemed necessary. The daily creamy squash soup a bit overly creamy for our tastes, but the pickerel was full of flavour as was the potato mushroom gnocchi and the elk meatloaf. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was rich and flavourful - wonderful buttery caramel but not cloyingly sweet. Tasty food, nicely presented. Service was straightforward and not overly officious."

"The appetizers were hit or miss, but the mains were solid. The staff were friendly, but the service was quite slow. Not sure if that was done on purpose, but it took a long time for our food order to be taken"
