"My guest ordered the gluten free pasta and it was a dish of mush! I had the hand made stuffed pasta filled with meat and it was much too greasy, but good to taste. I had stomach pains all evening after I ate. The steaks were too expensive for my taste so i stuck with the pasta and was sorry afterwards. Our waitress was very pleasant, just a little slow to getting back to check on us! Sorry for the bad review, but i was very disappointed and truly was looking forward to a great evening out for dinner."

"Poor communication by the hostess=no server ever informed of our arrival having been seated. Our guests also were not seated immediately. We were not offered the choice of a booth or table = this was at 6 pm, well before peak reserves.
We sat for 10-12 minutes and finally HAD TO ASK FOR A WAITRESS. She then asks if we are ready to order, before asking if we would like a cocktail.
Open Table asked if this was a special occasion and I said yes, a birthday. Why did you ask this? The cake I ordered was never presented. The waitress did not care if this was a special occasion, which I told her it was upon her arrival at our table.
The best part of the evening was the busboy who never let anyone's water glass go below one-half full."

"We have been going to the Andiamos on Telegraph for a very long time. I must say this past time I was disappointed. I am used to getting salad, pasta with sauce, and one or two veges with my meal. This time it was a hunk of meat on a plate for $38. Where was the rest of my meal? My husband and I come to that Andiamos for all of our special occations and I was shocked to see they took away half of the food and raised the prices. The fillet we did get was great but I wanted to see the rest of my food. I could hear the rest of the chatter around us and other people were saying the same thing. If things do not go back to the way they were I don't thing we will be back and that makes me sad because that was my favorite restaurant."

"A wonderful menu of many tasty choices. I have a hard time deciding what to order. I had the veal piccata which was so thin and tender with artichoke hearts and capers. The service is always exceptional as well. This was a business lunch, which I have here often. Highly recommend it."

"They've changed their menu... which wasn't to our liking. We went with another couple, and the food bill was much higher than anticipated. Their sides now are a la carte. That means... you're only getting your meat. No potatoes... no veggies. Salad is extra too. You do get a little course of pasta ahead of your meal... but we felt that the meal was over-priced. We also miss the italian flare that Andiamo used to have. We ordered the white fish and it was tasty. Another positive... they had gluten-free pasta that was delicious. If you like steak and fish, and don't mind paying a little extra... you'll be happy."

"Good restaurant if you like expensive steaks. Gone are the delicious Italian dishes that made this restaurant popular in the first place. Also gone is the reasonably priced wine list with known brands . On the positive side, their service continues to be very good as is the ambiance."

"It was crowded and we had to wait for our table for 15-20 minutes but they tried to get us seated as soon as possible. The food was top notch, came fairly quickly. We had our 4 year old with us and they really tried to be kid-friendly, but maybe not the best place for that. Everyone was very accommodating and pleasant. The salmon dish was very nice. Wife loved her steak. This cuisine is some of the best around."

"The eggplant parmesan is not on the menu, since Andiamo's changed the restaurant format to an Italian steakhouse. They will, however, make it upon request if they have fresh eggplant available. The fresh eggplant is mostly used for the terrific caponata that comes as an complementary appetizer with every meal. On this night, the eggplant parmesan was crisp, tender, and expertly prepared. If you really want the eggplant, it is a good idea to call ahead to make sure that they have it. We love their bread sticks too!"

"New upscale steakhouse format for this popular Italian restaurant was well received. We were originally seated in the annex room, which didn't have the same ambiance as the main dining room. I asked if we could get a table in the main room and were quickly accommodated. Service was prompt and friendly. Wine prices were reasonable and a sommelier decanted the wine. I had the signature veal dish ( a saltimbocca with veal tenderloin) and my wife had the filet. Both were excellent. The sides were more than enough for two. Overall, simply a great dining experience."

"It would appear that Andiamo's Italian steakhouse is more a "place to be seen' than a place to go for a fine-to-superior steak dinner. We had two steaks ordered at our table; one rare, one medium well. The orders were switched and had to be sent back. The second Porterhouse was still only what I would define as medium-rare to medium; and was not of the "top 8% of beef" as adverized. A bit tough and flavor about what one would expect at the "bargain" steakhouses. Salad was good, as was the small pasta side. Overall Disappointing!"

"Our fish&filet were great but when we arrived for 7:30 reservations, we waited 15mins although the restaurant didnt appear to be overbooked/crowded. Also we were seated but never had bread brought to our table, nor did we get bread offered like everyone else in out area. Creme Brûlée(dessert) was requested to be extra torched to insure that the top would be hard/crispy. well the Creme brûlée wasnt even torched regular let alone extra! the top wasnt hard& the Creme brulee was ice cold! i brought this up to iur waitress and she said that she would tell the kitchen, but NOONE EVER compensated/adressed us.Didnt get our salads w/dinner, nor were we ever offered salads. Afterwards we realized that we didnt get salads and still never got bread"

"Were told it was a 30-45 minute wait WITH reservations, but was seated in about 10 minutes. Great service (especially at the bar). Our waitress was extremely pleasant and friendly and check back several times. My wife enjoyed her chicken and I really liked my Antagosto (sp?) meat filled pasta in mushroom sauce. Seemed a bit pricey (esp. the wine - $12/glass) but an enjoyable dining experience. Very efficient, especially given how crowded it was (a Friday night)."

"The swordfish and the veal ravioli were delicious. The Chianti was fragrant but overpriced at $12 a glass. I was disappointed that such an upscale restaurant with as fine a chef as was apparent had slow, inattentive service. Not only that, the waitstaff offered vegetables and potatoes to go with the meal, as if they were included, and then charged us. I would also like to see some of the former menu items, such as veal picante or veal marsala."

"The food was great and the service was superb. Our party of four was seated immediately upon arrival. Our waiter took our drink orders and helped us select the right bottle of wine to satisfy evryone's taste. He explained the specials that the chef was preparing. The entire eveing was made special by the table side Ceaser Salad preparation. All in all it was a great evening in a great resturant."

"Know womder they give alot of discounts. Thats the only way people would go. Calimari served with no sauce, wilted lettuce on the caesers salad. no vegtable served with entree.Entrees were just fair. No oil served with bread. Manager seemed disinterested. We wouldn't go back even with $50 off."

"Service was slow. Might have been because the "March Madness" was on the tv in the bar. (Our waiter mentioned to us that he was keeping track of the score.). He did not ask everyone what they would like to drink and at the end of our meal he forgot all about a port that was ordered and just brought the check. This is the 2nd time we have been to the restaurant and thought we would give it another chance. We will not be returning."

"Food was delicious, service excellent but our party of six was seated in the back room next to two large birthday parties of 15 and 16 year olds. As you can imagine conversation was very difficult. Obviously you were aware of these large group reservations and we should have made aware of it as well so we could have chosen either to be seated elsewhere or dined elsewhere."

"We arrived at 5pm, there were 5 in our group. We attempted to order promptly, it took over 10 minutes after seated for someone to approach us. We did not get our dinners until 7pm, then some were over-cooked, others not hot. This place was very busy, other tables came and went, we were still waiting. We were told the "kitchen as backed up!" The poor, slow service seems to be a theme with the Andiamo name. We have tried 2 other area locations in the past and experienced this same type of slow, poor service. We will not dine again in an Andiamo."

"This restaurant is trying very hard to live up to the prices it charges for a night out. It can be very expensive, and so our expectations were for an impeccable evening. For the most part, Andiamo delivered. The food was well done, and our waitress was professional and attentive. What ruined the evening for us was when our daughter and her guest observed a busboy dropping napkins on the floor, then picking them up and setting them on the table for the incoming diners...Yuck.. In defense of the restaurant, once we informed our waitress of the faux pas, the manager came over to our table and apologized. Apology accepted, but ?"

"Very disappointed in the food. I ordered the Paglia Fieno. The linguine seemed to have been cooked hours before - cooked then allowed to dry out then tossed with sauce - not sure in which order. Maybe all cooked and tossed hours before and reheated in a microwave. It was horrible. It tasted very uninteresting, my daughter ordered the same and had the same experience. Also, the "Cici bean salad" did not highlight the beans at all. It was a basic garden salad with uninteresting greens as the primary ingredient with a few garbanzo beans sprinkled on top. Not noteworthy and not sure why it's named after the beans."
