"Made reservations online 6 hours prior to the dinner. The goal was to have a nice dinner and show River Front scenery to a family that visited from Europe. The table that we were seated at was very high and required bar stools which were very very very uncomfortable for a dinner, to have a beer and some appetizers yes but dinner NO!
The food was good, however the desert were disappointing especially that the cheesecake was missing from the menu, who does not have a cheesecake on their menu?
If I will other family visit us I would probably go to another place where I can be seated in a comfortable seat and enjoy my dinner."

"We were there for my birthday just for drinks and dessert, and the evening would've been enjoyable had our waitress not taken so long to get back to us every time she left the table. And it was on a wednesday evening that we were there, so it wasn't busy. In fact, we were the only table in her section. And when she did come to our table, she always forgot everything. She brought my friend the wrong dessert 3 times. Horrible service."

"We went to Andiamo's for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time there and we were very pleased. The service was outstanding. The food I'd rate very good. It has ambiance and great riverfront views. The downside is you cannot park very close but the restaurant will give you a voucher.
I'd recommend it for couples or small parties. Thanks"

"Reservation were at 7:00. Didn't seated until 7:25. Went to bar for a drink with my wife. Ordered wine and the bartender poured one glass full and the other one filled halfway because was emptied. Threw the bottle away and didn't open another. Charged for both.

When we got seated, it took 20 minutes before we got water. The bread was delivered after that. We were never asked how our meal was (salmon was over done.). Felt like we were an inconvenience the entire night."

"We had guests in from out of town and wanted to take them to see the wonderful renewal of the city of Detroit. We had a delicious dinner with a spectacular view of the Detroit River and the Riverwalk. Everyone's meal was outstanding. Especially notable is their Lean menu. One of our guests is a vegan, and had a completely delicious meal from that menu - she was ecstatic. Server was gracious and attentive. Whole experience was terrific (and followed by a stroll down the Riverwalk which is amazing)."

"We arrived in late from LA and they were able to accommodate us at 10pm. It was my husband's 60th birthday and I had selected this place as it was on the way to our final destination. We had enjoyed going to Andiamo's in Warren when we lived there and we weren't disappointed. The food was amazing! Starting with the soup and salad, then the pasta, then the main course- veal for him and pork chop for me- everything was delicious! The meat sauce was just like grandma's ( she was from Italy). It was hard to choose a dessert from the tray as they all looked so good. The carrot cake was fantastic and my husband couldn't stop talking about the cannoli. We would go here again and and again!"

"I have been to several Andiamo locations with both Livonia and Dearborn being my favorite. So who would have thought that planning a girls night at Andiamo "river front" to start our girls night out would have been a mistake. Our waiter rushed us to order even as we explained one of our friends was stuck in traffic and would be a few minutes late he pressed us about 3 times to order appetizers. Even after I explained to him that we were on a relax night of no kids and no husbands and we wanted to chill and relax he came back to our table 7 times in 20 minutes (yes we timed him to keep from being annoyed) We eventually ordered dinner and moved on to Coach Insignia for dessert and coffee and a few bottles of wine. Would not come back."

"This was a business dinner with out of town visitors (Chicago and Tampa). We had a very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating waiter who made our dining experience one to remember. "I chose Adiamo for dining during Detroit's Restuarant Week. I chose a meal from the restuarant week menu, my Fiancee decided to order from the regular menu. We discovered that this was the best decision that we made! The Sicilian Tilapia was perfect, it was not under or over cooked, the vegetables were fresh and delicious. My Fiancee's Sea Bass was awesome!! It was so good, he didn't want to share a small bite! The chocolate cream puff dessert was to die for,it was the best ending to a great meal. The only downside was the misunderstanding we experienced with our waiter in reference to the order/bill. Although he very courteous and apologetic to the mistakes that were made, the matter still could have been resolved differently."

"The Ambiance, the Service, and most of the Food. Were all exceptional! We went for DRW (Detroit Restaurant Week) and were so impressed. We had an outstanding view of the riverfront which was just icing on the cake. We will be going again, it is a great spot for couples or groups. Highly recommend!"

"Our dinner for four took 2 and 1/2 hours!!! Way too long. There were groups that were sat after us that left before us. The food was good, not fantastic. The service was slow. We waited to even be greeted by our server for 10 to 15 minutes and drinks took just as long. I would go there again, based on the food, but it will not be my first choice at all."

"I was disappointed in my experience with Andiamo. I expected a more upscale restaurant, and Andiamo, despite charging the upscale prices, was not. The food was "good", but more fitting in quality and taste of a mom and pop Italian eatery. The decor was tired, somewhat tacky, and mismatched in style. Not a special restaurant, just an everyday spot with high prices. Won't be back."

"In town for a Conference, easy to get to using the People Mover. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Service was good and food was excellent. This was during Detroits Restaurant Week, selections were good with excellent variety. Would definitely recommend!"

"Reservation was held even though we were delayed 10 minutes. We were seated promptly and greeted immediately by friendly, energetic servers. Disappointingly, they were out of gnocchi and unable to prepare their signature Gnocchi Rustica, my favorite dish. The offer from the kitchen to prepare the dish with one of several pastas came across as amateurish. The kitchen did well on first course readiness however, was a bit slow to deliver on the entrees. Ambiance - too much flat black paint. Would have earned V-good overall had all menu items been available and kitchen stepped it up to support wait staff with timely delivery of the entrees."

"The atmosphere was nothing to comment on for a Wednesday night. The salad was refreshing and marinara sauce on the side of pasta was flavorful. I ordered a filet mignon and my wife a prime rib. Unfortunately, if I had to guess, 30% of my "petite" steak was fat and my wife's steak was more like 60%+ INEDIBLE fat. Even after we voiced our concern to our server nothing beyond an "I'm sorry" was done to keep our business. A huge disappointment for all the positive reviews that have been calling me to try this restaurant for a first time. At this point, it will take great effort to even consider dining there again. Truly very disappointing experience overall when also considering their prices. Not what expected."

"We arrived at 5:50 for a 6:00 p.m. reservation. Our waitress asked if we had any time constraints for a play, etc. We told her that we were going to the Fisher to see an 8:00 p.m. play and that we needed to leave by 7:15.

We were drawn to Andiamo because of the promotional information they sent us about their special seafood menu. However, we were not given that menu and had to ask for it, and wait for it after we sat down. Once our order was taken, it took a long time for the food to come out. We ate and then had to wait a long time (and ask twice) for our check.

Our waitress had a distracted sort of disposition and we were not pleased with her service or the fact that we didn't get out of the restaurant until 7:35."

"I am questioning the Whole Andiamo experience. The last three meals have been very less than ordinary. What used to always be an amazing meal and experience now is turning into a very low quality presentation and with low quality ingredients! I am getting very tired of being disappointed by them! Isn't the Riverfront location new? Thank God there was a nice view! It's the only thing that saved the evening!"
