"After eating, the webpage statement "every dish we create incorporates elements from the fire" felt deceiving, given multiple raw courses; "we try to cook without the excess so the fundamental flavors can reach their deepest points and allow the truth of an ingredient to show itself" did not match by the complex menu. Very rare ingredients, so If you don't like raw / rare food, don't go. I was not informed that there would be an abundance of raw dishes. I invited my significant other, who really dislikes raw food, and did not enjoy most of his courses. Not bad, but a very specific type of taste. I respect complex meals. I just did not enjoy mine and had to pay an EXORBITANT amount of money. Unpleasantly surprised: Sticker shock indeed."

"Fantastic food and presentation. Having the kitchen open to the intimate dining area was a great plus with the plates being presented in front of your eyes and the chefs presenting and describing their creations. The only critique is that we did the wine pairings and while several of them were great and elevated the food, as I believe these should, in several cases we found the food to stand on it's own and the pairing to not add much."

"We had dinner 4/12. Wow. This is a must for anyone who is a true foodie. The chef and his staff create some amazing and unique dishes. My wife and I felt like the staff really wanted us to enjoy ourselves and did everything to make sure we had the best dining experience possible. Don't think of the price as "that's a lot for a dinner". Rather think of the cost as both dinner and a show, because when you watch the kitchen in action, preparing your food, it is a real show. It is poetry in motion. I can't say enough about the wonderful flavors and textures in each course. It was remarkable. We would highly recommend Saison to anyone looking for a great evening."

"We will not forget our night at Saison, nor the $1,350. bill for two, which included wine pairing, tip, and pre-dinner wine/cocktails. (There was a $100 surcharge for truffles which, in retrospect, seems at least double what it should have been.) We loved the contemporary, casual look and dress code and found the food to be extraordinary with the exception of one fish course that had more sinew than flesh. We don't usually lean toward community tables, but found it to be quite pleasant. One thing we did like, and wish to see at other restaurants offering wine pairings, was that if our glass ran dry before the next course, they would pour a bit more. All in all, a classy, beautiful restaurant with a kitchen and staff to match."

"If I hadn't had problems with the food, I would have given Saison top marks across the scoring. Unfortunately, I would strongly caution anyone who has a dietary restriction to reconsider dining here.
My first interactions with the service at the restaurant were SUPERB. The maitre d' called me in advance and we spoke at length about the restriction. The staff put quarters in our parking meter while we were dining. Both are above and beyond what I have experienced at most restaurants.
Despite also speaking to the waiter, I was served multiple dishes that contained ingredients I cannot eat. I'm surprised that a restaurant of this quality could not take into account common allergens and intolerances."

The place looked similar to a Cozy cafeteria inside a warehouse. The bar is not a full bar either. At $250 a head not including wine pairing it's a must foodies."

"Hands down Saison was the most incredible dining experience I've ever had. The food was immaculately thought out. Service was impeccable. Presentation unique and tasteful. They have clearly attended to every detail of the fine dining experience. Staff was also warm and considerate. And of course the wine pairings matched each dish perfectly. I felt like I had been invited to someone's mansion for a meal catered especially to me. It was indeed the most special Valentine meal and I remember every morsel!"
