Elegant. Sophisticated. Fine Dining.
Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky's historic downtown district, just two blocks from serene Fountain Square, The Bistro welcomes you to one-of-a-kind dining. The two-story restored 1893 Fletcher House plays host to both first rate meals and service whether you are enjoying dinner for two in the restaurant, drinks with friends in the bar or a private function in the upstairs meeting space.
"We have gone here the last 3 yrs. and will continue this tradition. My wife loves this place and wants to make sure we return for Mother's Day again. The food is perfect and has actually encouraged us to make some of it ourselves. I speak very highly of your restaurant each time I mention it. Thank you."

"We have come to appreciate that the evening’s “specials” are always imaginative, creative, and eagerly anticipated. Once again, Chef Sasha did not disappoint. When each of his special appetizer offerings sounds better than the other, you just know that dinner will surely be a gourmet experience. His octopus salad appetizer was truly “special” and it was perfect. Served cool with assorted greens, the octopus was perfectly done, both tender and flavorful. Sasha followed with his potato-crusted Mahi-Mahi entrée served over asparagus, in a red cream sauce that complimented the Mahi-Mahi without overpowering it. Like the appetizer, the dinner was perfect. But there was still dessert: Tres Leches Crème Brulee. Simply delicious."

"Chef Jason: The catfish dinner last Saturday (3/16) was superb!! So many different flavors in one meal. One of the best meals we've had at the Bistro, and we go every Saturday. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Thanks for always making our Saturdays so special."

"Exceptional service! Wonderful food! Our server was very attentive and made use feel very welcome! He was great. We loved the look of the restaurant. Beautiful and perfectly lit with great art. Oh, and the food....to die for. My husband is seldom blown away by restaurant food but he was at The Bistro. The best catfish he had ever tasted. We all enjoyed our visit very much!"

"Anniversary dinner for my husband and I . It was our first visit. We got the special NY Strip steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Everything was good except for the steak which happens to be the main course. It had no taste to it, very bland. Although their we're grill marks on it but obviously was not cooked on a grill. It tasted as though it was pan fried. Probably one of the worst steaks My husband and I have eaten. Very disappointed in that coming from such an elegant restaurant. And it was the "Special" in which the $25.00 did not reflect that being a good price. We didnt know the price until we got the bill. Not for sure if we will be back, jury is still out on that one. The atmosphere and service are very good though."
