"We have been to Sally's on several occassions - this times Valentines day, an early time (6:30 PM). Clearly they were not ready for appropriate service of guests. While the food, as always, was exceptional, the service left a lot, and i mean a lot, to be desired. Such has been our expereince here - the food is always exceptional. Sarah, the chef, is extremely creative and innovative with trying different things - that always work.
So, if you can tolerate variable service, the food will never disappoint you. And the prices are quite reasonable - especially when they offer a fix priced menu, as was true for VD."

"Sally's on the Water had a great menu set-up for restuarnt week 2010. The restuarant itself definitely sets a great mood for a romantic dinner or even an intimate group gathering. The ambiance was pleasant and the view would have been spectacular if it was daytime or at dusk. The restaurant week menu was delicious! If you like goat cheese, the beef ravioli was scrumptious! The Furikake Seared albacore was perfectly cooked at seasoned. All 3 main course items were delicious. Depending on what you'd like to eat that night, you can't miss with any dish. Lastly, the Chai Tea Panna Cotta was the best dessert they had on the restaurant week menu. Don't bother trying the other stuff. The presentation itself sold us."

"Although the service was good and our waiter was friendly and "talkative", my soup was lukewarm and it appeared to be about 1/2 cups worth and nothing special although it was the only choice on the menu. The outdoor seating is great for people watching and maybe a cocktail, but forget the meal. Overall, it was overpriced and I could not recommend it to others."
