"While visiting from the east coast, I invited a few friends out for seafood dinner in San Diego. Sally's didn't disappoint: The food was excellent, presentations were appealing, and service was friendly and prompt. The location in the seaport village is charming, and though we sat inside because of a chill in the air, it looks like a phenomenal place to dine outside on the marina. I recommend Sally's and plan to go again someday when I get the chance to visit San Diego again."

"Nicely laid out restaurant with high top tables and a semi circular black granite counter over looking the marina. Super friendly and fast servers and assistants. I had the lobster paella. Wow! So delicious and served on some kind of silver skillet that seemed to be heated and kept things hot te duration. My wife had a rib eye and potatoes. Steak was good but we could do without the vinegar soaked onions that were served atop. Overall, excellent place. I've been here three times and have been impressed by food and staff every time."

"Our experience at Sally's was good, but not great. The menu was interesting, but not novel. And, our service experience was a mixed one. Our server was attentive, but not as on top of the game as well as would have been appropriate considering the menu prices. We ordered a bottle of wine, shared by the four of us, and rather than serve moderate portions to each, the entire bottle was poured at once, dividing it not very equally between the four glasses. When our entrees arrived the assistant had no clue of what went to whom so we played "guess who has what" as he put down plates before appetizer plates had been cleared. I actually had to tell him..."please remove these now, before placing the larger plates." Sally's was adequate..no more."

"Sally's was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, and it did not disappoint! The outstanding wine list and menu made the foodie in me very happy. Service was a bit slow and it was pretty hard to have a conversation, but the food and view more than made up for that. Awesome dinner experience! Would definitely go again next time I'm in San Diego."

"This is the third visite in about 4 years. The first time we left enthusiastic, the second time we thought that we had caught a bad day. This time we realized that our standard had risen. "Sally's has been a favorite for years, and they did not disappoint this time either. the food was DEEEELISH!! We started with the egg rolls, which were delicately fried not a thick skin. The bread has rosemary I believe brought with butter and pink salt, very good. We got were the crab sandwich and the steak & beet salad. The crab salad was incredible, I can't wait to go back for that!! The salad was also very, very good. The only issue we had was the corkage fee, look out for that!! We brought 2 bottles of wine and didn't think to ask how much (usually see charges of $10-$20) when we got the bill the charge was $25 for each bottle of wine we brought. We all felt that our server should definitely informed us of the exorbitant fee."

"Impeccably fresh sea food prepared simply with an Asian inspiration and a light hand. Our excellent server recommended the prix fixe menu which we enjoyed with the well thought out wine pairings. And the oysters!! I could happily return just to dedicate an evening to those exquisite bivalves."
