Welcome to Bacco, a Neapolitan family trattoria specializing in homemade Italian dishes and wines. The name Bacco is Italian for "Bacchus", the mythological god of "good times" who taught mortals the celebration of the grapes and living every day to the fullest. Bacchus is the essence and enjoyment of the food and fruits of the earth. The meal is the center of Italian culture. With its own wine room, martini bar, indoor garden and bocce court on the patio, Bacco is truly a cut above the rest when it comes to authentic Italian dining. "Atmosphere and food were great. Outdoor patio has bar with festive lighting and a little lounge area. Super cute indoors and out. However, we were there for 2 hours due to the extremely slow service. Drinks were empty, waitress nowhere in sight. Took forever to get our meals."

"Went on saturday night. Although it was crowded, did not have to wait for a table. It is very loud, so not a place i would go for a romantic evening. Looks a bit like a chain restaurant but has a nice atmosphere. Food is very good for a casual restaurant and a good value for the money.
Service was not great - seems like neither the kitchen or waitstaff can handle the volume. I saw some tables near us with children who waited a long time for pizza and were upset. We only saw our waiter a few times and waited a long time for the check. They ran out of silverware so we didn't get a knife and had to use a soup spoon for pasta. Overall good but with a few tweaks, could be better."

"Took us well over an hour to get our entrees after arrival (6:30 on a Saturday evening). Waitress never brought us any bread to tide us over and stopped by only once on her own in all that time. When paying the check she told us that F - Su nights are always like that due to a huge takeout and catering business. If that were the only flaw we might have given them another shot during the week. However, two of the four of us weren't thrilled with our meals. I had the Chicken Pazzo which was so over-sauced as to overpower the protein. Prices were reasonable but with all of the restaurants in the area I'm sure we can do better elsewhere."

"Found Bacco to be a restaurant that was accessible to couples and groups, a trait I find difficult for many restaurants. The food was wonderful. My companion and I thoroughly enjoyed all our courses. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. Our waiter timed his presence quite well. The place was energetic, but I don't see that as a negative. It means the restaurant is doing many things right. I will be going back soon."

"I saw the other reviews listed and I had high hopes. My hopes were toned down. The food took a long time. We split a pizza and it took over 40 minutes to get our food. When we got it, the pizza wasn't cooked all the way. We thought about sending back but didn't want to wait another 30 minutes."

"Bacco always impresses me! From the moment you step in the door, you are guaranteed a great experience. The food is amazing! I'm 100% traditional Italian and make most of my food from scratch. Most "Italian" restaurants are fake canned food that is thrown on a plate and warmed up. Bacco is the opposite. Their food and service is absolutely amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Whenever I bring new people, they always go back for more."

"We celebrated Office Professionals Day a few days late at Bacco's and the atmosphere, including a round table, made it easy to converse. The appetizers were very good although they could have been a little more plentiful for the price charged. The entrees were plentiful portions especially the sandwiches which provided leftovers to take home and enjoy for another meal. The staff was attentive and and service more than adequate."

"We had a group of 11 celebrating 2 birthdays and wanted a really special Italian dinner. The food was excellent and tasty when it finally arrived. Our server was not quick to provide service. When bread was provided, it was not enough for a large group and when more was requested, it was brought to half the table. Our food was very slow to arrive, nearly an hour after we arrived.
Aside from service, again, I must say the food was excellent. We may have just gotten a new server or an overwhelmed server? I would recommend to someone who may have a small group to test it out."

"The food was outstanding. The restaurant touts, 'When you're here, You're there. ' if that's the case, I won't be traveling to Italy anytime soon. We were rushed from the moment we sat down. So much so, that the server literally had her hands on our plates before we were finished eating. We ordered appetizers and soup. The soup was MIA when our meals were brought out. When we asked about it, the server asked, 'Oh, Did you still want that?'. Gee, we ordered it, right? I could go on for hours about the food. It was sumptuous in every way and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the ambiance (extremely loud, very close seating) and service deeply detracted from the food experience :("

"My wife and I have been going to Bcco for a few year sand we always make it a point to go on a Friday because we like to enjoy live bands. This visit, we decided to try Bacco's thin crust pizza. We usually order entrees, which are always well-prepared, but we had heard about how well they do pizza and gave it a try. We both agreed that it was among the best we have ever had. We ordered two mediums to be able to sample more than one: the three cheese with Gorgonzola and spinach and a multi-topping offering, with tomatoes, red peppers, olives, artichokes and onions. Amazing. Since they offer takeout, we may very well permanently switch from our local pizza shop to Bacco. The quality and flavor is far superior, and not more expensive."

"My husband and I were most recently there on a Thursday night and it was surprisingly a bit crowded and noisy and but the food quality is always consistently good and the pizza is just awesome! It is quickly becoming a favorite restaurant for us!"

"We go to Bacco a lot for one reason....it's always consistently good. Nothing worse than spending hard-earned dollars on a dinner out, only to have a bad experience with poor food quality or bad service. We know at Bacco our dinner, no matter what we order, will be tasty and reasonably priced. Just can't beat it in this economy."

"Bacco seems to me to be a well-kept secret in North Wales. Away from the mall traffic, this restaurant offers delicious Italian cuisine and brick-oven pizza. Portions are large and reasonably priced, especially the lunch menu. They used to offer family-style dining, I am not sure if they do that anymore. It is very pretty inside, with twining grape vines and sparkling white lights. There are round tables as well as square, which is nice for groups."

"This was a good dining experience except once the musicians in the bar started playing (approx. 9pm) it was impossible to share normal dinner conversation anywhere in the restaurant. The band was too loud for comfortable dining and diners should not anticipate a relaxed atmosphere that late on a Friday night. If you don't mind the noise - then please enjoy, or like me, enjoy it a little earlier next time!"

"Baccos in North Wales is a wonderful place if you are looking for a romantic night out with your special someone. I have eaten here a few times and loved it, but my fiance has not. It was his first time. He loved it!!! Everything was wonderful! And being Italian, myself, it brings back memories of when I was young and the the old fashioned food and bread we use to make and eat. We plan on coming back very soon!"
