"Our second visit affirmed our first impression. Eddie V's offers a great upscale dining experience without the outrageous pricing found at other classy seafood & steak houses. We enjoyed the lemon sole and the halibut, but the biggest delight were the two sides we ordered - brussel sprouts and lobster fried rice. We shared the newest dessert on the menu, a salted caramel panna cotta. Highly recommended. Our server, Brian, provided a very personal and professional service, particularly on a busy Mother's Day evening."

"Wonderful dinner, excellent service, well paced. The lemon sole is amazing. Excellent sides of vegetables; loved the beets. Don't miss the bananas foster cake for dessert (the accompanying pecan ice cream might actually complement better if vanilla-based) -- plenty big enough to share. Pretty pricey so mostly for special occasions, but despite formal wear our waiter was not stuffy (which I hate). Only disappointment was no riesling or gewurztraminer wines on large wine menu. This will remain one of our go-to places for celebrations or anything special. Enjoy!"

"Nightly music at the bar adds to the vibrant bar scene. The bartenders are friendly and provide a generous pour. The spacious restaurant has comfortable seating and a very attentive staff. Although known for their fish dishes their steaks are some of the best in town. A steak ordered "rare plus" is brought to the table exactly right.
While a bit on the pricey side you get excellent value for your money.
My wife and I return here time and again after being disappointed with other restaurants with similar menus."

"This place is highly overrated. I don't mind dropping a couple 100's on dinner if the food and flavors of the dishes are good. This place is a bad copy of an elegant restaurant. The servers don't know basic etiquette. The halibut was grossly overcooked. The tuna had lot's of tendons and the server responded that it was because it was rare. It would be melting if we had it cooked all of the way.....really? Ahi is supposed to be cooked rare! The dessert menu was boring. If you're looking for something unique and fresh in town, you're better off to see Posh or Binkley's."

"My husband and I were celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary last night and picked Eddie V's as a new restaurant to try to celebrate this special occasion. After last night's awesome dining experience, Eddie V's has become our favorite restaurant in Scottsdale, hands down!!! Our meals were simply outstanding, from appetizers to dessert. However, what made our dinning experience memorable was our server Brian T. He was exceedingly professional, courteous and attentive. Probably the best server we have had in years. We will definitely be visiting Eddie V's during our next trip to Scottsdale. A true gem of a restaurant!!!"

"We've been going to Eddie V's for years at their location in DC Ranch. They moved to the Scottsdale Quarter last year and we have been to the new location twice now, and fortunately, the standards have not changed. Outstanding seafood (and steaks), impeccable service, and elegant ambiance. The food is imaginative and always spectacular. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Management is always concerned about your enjoyment and are very visible. Not a great place for kids unless they are very well-behaved in this environment. Highly recommended."

"Bread was wonderful. Entrees (Tuna & Halibut) were great. Server forgot to bring soup, but gave us dessert (blackberry crumble) which was excellent. The bar had live music which we really enjoyed from our table in the dining room. We really enjoyed our evening!"

"We found our experience at Eddie V's to be both pleasant and tasteful. We had a drink in the bar area since we were a bit early. The bar tender served us promptly and politely. The drinks were perfect. Dinner was better than expected. As was the service. The menu detailed each ingredient that was involved in the dinning offering. People at our table had steaks, fish, and scallops. We also had mushroom salad, Fuji apple salad, and Caesar salad. All food was outstanding. Even the wild berry cobbler was grand. Thank you for making this a hit with our guests. We will be returning and marking it on our calendar for special occasions as well. Judy P."

"The filet Mignon I had was AMAZING. Tender and juicy. My husband's salmon was a little dry. It was good, but not the best. We had a chocolate dessert and bananas fosters for dessert and they were really good. The chairs were super uncomfortable. Hurt my lower back. And we had come to hear the jazz music, but could hardly hear them as they were way up in a corner of the restaurant. Service as great. Salads so good. Thanks!"

"Overall an excellent experience, but with a rocky start.
It was a birthday for a special friend. I made reservations well in advance. We showed up a little early and I tipped the hostess 20 and told her it was a special occasion and asked for a quiet booth. She ignored my request and sat us at a 4-top in the middle of the room. I then asked for the manager, and because I really wanted this to go well I tipped him 50. He then found us a great table and they treated us like royalty from then on. We had truly excellent service for the rest of the evening. This is not an uncommon experience for a high-end restaurant, but I was a little disappointed that the hostess ignored my initial request. The meal was fabulous."

"Dinner at Eddie V's was the perfect ending to a wonderful day. The hostess, manager and server all gave birthday greetings; a card signed by all employees was waiting at the table. Flavors of every food item danced wonderfully in our mouths. While our table was in a semi-private area, we still enjoyed the songs of the live musicians. The service was surely five star quality. We'd recommend this for any occasion to everyone."

"This was our second time to dine at Eddie V's. The service was again stellar and beyond what you'd expect anywhere. There was live entertainment in the bar, on a mid week night, and this was enjoyable even though we didn't sit in the bar. The restaurant was a shade on the dark side at the table we had on this second trip. Valet service at the door is a real plus in the Scottsdale Quarter. The food was excellent, prepared as ordered, and all of the presentation was both creative and well done. A truly exceptional experience both times. Definitely upscale and a bit more costly than the quicky eat out meal, however while can easily find more expensive places to eat, but it would be a challenge to find a better. We'll be back!"
