"I'm a local but have never been to Sanderlings. We wanted to take our mom some where, where she would feel like a million bucks and thanks to the great location and views and not to mention our server Jake! Who by far is one of the best waiters I have encountered in a long time! My mom was impressed. Every one at our table absolutely loved their entrees. It was a quiet night and our service was fantastic. Kudos on the table with the sunset view!"

"Went for Mother's Day and were seated 1/2 hour late. I knew they offered a buffet (served from 10-2) but when I confirmed the reservation by phone I was told we could order from the menu or choose the buffet. However, that was not the case: we could only have the buffet. We ate just after one pm and the dishes were very picked over, the green salads were wilted, nothing was very hot. The crab legs were gone (and never refilled), the shrimp was almost gone and the eggs benedict were rubbery. My husband said the prime rib was delicious but I didn't want red meat. This meal was not worth $46. We were not offered any discount for the miscommunication regarding the buffet, either. Very bad etiquette!"

"I requested a table with a view, if possible, and mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday when I made the reservations. The staff was very accommodating upon our arrival and made our dinner very memorable. Jacob, our server, was wonderful, the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect, and the table we were seated at gave us a beautiful view of the sunset. I especially appreciated how spread out the other dinners were in the restaurant which enhanced the ambiance and made our dinner feel more romantic. Overall a wonderful experience!"

"We had been to Seascape before but had always wanted to try the restaurant. We weren't exactly sure where to go but it's located just past the main lobby. We had heard about the great views but I guess the view isn't as great when it's dark outside. It took a few mins to get seated but once we were they took our drink order and brought out some breadsticks and bread. The service seemed a little slow but what can you expect, it's a resort. I liked the pace that the food came out, it was ideal for a date night which includes a lot of talking. I ordered the Prime rib while my girlfriend ordered the salmon. Brie was our starter (excellent). My food was great (minus the potatoes) and my gf enjoyed her salmon. Good experience!"

"We visited Seascape Resort for our anniversary. We ate at Sanderlings 3 times. This place has the best fried calamari we have ever had! My husband had some for lunch and again at dinner. We sat both indoors and outside. It has a spectacular ocean view! The ambiance is romantic, yet family friendly as well. We were very happy with our visit."

"Moved to California a year ago, so I have been trying different places to dine. For Valentines Day took the wife to Sanderlings and enjoyed a good meal with wonderful service. Picked from a limited menu since it was a holiday, but food was very good anyway. Would come back to try again and maybe get to see the view in the evening!!"

"The food was so-so and was not as good as we expected it to be. The bar was fun as they had a live jazz trio playing. We were there at night so we didn't get to enjoy the scenic view (it's right on the beach). We had a good time though and we might go back to enjoy the view during the day, but the food is nothing to get excited about."

"I thought the idea of making a reservation for 6:30 was that they would have a table for you at 6:30. When we arrived we were told it would be 5 minutes and then every 5 minutes thereafter we were told it would be "just five more minutes." They must have been way busier than they thought they would be. But the restaurant is very nice and the food is very good, so it was worth the wait. The service was so so. They forgot to bring our clam chowder but did make it up by giving us dessert. Again, it is a good thing the restaurant is very nice because we did not mind that we were there for two hours."

"We enjoy the setting and view so much at this restaurant, we usually go during the daylight hours. It is a destination for special occasions as well as week day lunches. Unfortunately it was very crowded this last vist (stockholders meeting etc..) and our service was very slow. In addition we were charged for something that was to have been complimentary. I will chalk it up to new staff and stretched resources, because usually we are happy with everything."
