The Feed Store Restaurant, located in historic College Park, originally known as J.D. Smith Grain Co. operating as a true Southern feed store.
Operated under the same family that ran the original feed store, The Feed Store Restaurant now serves updated Southern food as opposed to the chicken and duck feed that it used to serve patrons.
Changing menus four times a year, and focusing on anything and everything that is seasonal and locally grown, Executive Chef Peter Golaszewski (formerly of the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead), brings a unique twist to true Southern staples.
Located minutes from the airport, the Feed Store Restaurant offers two private dining rooms (one for 45, the other for 25), something difficult to find in and around the airport area.
Also featuring a separate bar for quiet cocktails or a glass of wine from our wine list featuring the expected and the unexpected at an affordable price.
"We had such a wonderful experience at The Feed Store--everything from having to call and get directions (google maps had it east of MARTA station) to the terrific service and amazing food. My daughter and I were in Atlanta for the weekend from Amarillo, TX. We had come for Frida exhibit at High Museum of Art and Atlanta Symphony. We consider ourselves foodies. Always try to locate a local place that is great. We usually use Urbanspoon. The waiter was great and gave us a great tip for breakfast the next morning. When we return to Atlanta, we will make it a point to return to The Feed Store."

"Visited when spending the night at Atlanta airport. Quick (1 stop) train ride on Atlanta MARTA. Wife is a vegetarian and was able to order a variety of well prepared sides. Very tasty. I had a scallop dish served over a cauliflower risotto with a tomato jam. Delicious. Roger, our server, was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Wonderful experience. Would definitely visit again."

"We found this treasure on Urban Spoon and were amaZed at how good the food is!!! All dishes concentrate on the original ingredient. Deviled eggs are true to the egg. Cheesecake is true to the Goat cheese. Caesar is true to the lettuce. Amazing time! Will definitely be back!!!!
And we had our picture taken beside the Chicken. You just HAVE to see it!!"

"Would recommend this place highly. Attentive service, food was well prepared. From appetizers to desert, every item on the menu was a winner. All four of us would recommend the place highly, and they mix a great cocktail as well. Great space, old grain store, very well done . I'll be back when we're in the area again."

"There aren't many nice places out near the airport, and so I was grateful for this one. The food was good -- I had the fried chicken, and my friends had the veggie plate. Big open spaces sometimes make it loud when there are energetic guests, so sometimes we had to raise our voices to be heard by each other. But I would go back there if I needed a place near the airport again."

"The ambience was great - we went for a nice, romantic Valentine's Day dinner and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent and the wait staff was always on point. The cookie goody bag was a nice touch - we will definitely come back!"

"My wife and I decided to celebrate Valentine's on February 16th,because when you have kids, it is very difficult to have some alone time. We wanted a place that would not be too crowded and would allow the mood to be intimate. The Feed Store was the perfect venure for a quiet night out. The food was great, and you taste that someone put their heart into making sure that prepared to perfection. The question is not would I suggest the Feed Store to any one else....the question is when will I stop suggesting it."
