"Visited Bond 45 before and the food was better during our last visit. The food was good but not great. The service was average...could be because our waiter was new (first day). I wish it was more kid friendly and that there were better choices for the kids on the menu."

"Wonderful Mother's Day Lunch this Past Sunday! Service was outstanding! Loved the complementary Bellini and chocolates. Had the Calamari, Stuffed Lobster, creamed Broccoli Rabe and Cheesecake to share for dessert. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend for a special dinner for two or with the family! Booths were so comfy and saw many families celebrating Mother's Day. A nice place to eat and then go right outside and stroll around National Harbor and enjoy the Potomac and the wonderful view. A nice short outing to escape DC for a bit!"

"this is the third time i went there and the third time i was greatly satisfied in all ways. server was excellent as always and managment was on point again. i can say i am never dissapointed when i go there. that being said Bond 45 is my favorite place in National Harbor. thank you"

"It was a Mother's Day dinner it was a three hour experience. My wife's lasagna was hard as a rock. I think that the kitchen was overwelmed by the amount of people in the restaurant."

"I found the food to be subpar and over priced. FOr the amount of money you pay for a meal, you should get what you paid for. Our meal was terrible, the filet migon was over cooked and my wife's lasgna was terrible and had to sauce on it or in it."

"This was my first (and last) visit to this restaurant. Perhaps it was just an off day for them, but the experience was not good. I ordered the bone-in new york strip, medium rare. This is a $58 steak.
It was cooked medium to medium well, and it was burned (not seared which would have been OK) on the outside and is was tougher than the leather of my 5 year old sneakers.
The Caesar salad, while not bad, was nothing spectacular. The dressing tasted like it came from a bottle you might buy in the store. The croutons however were quite good and the seasoning on them was tasty.
The highlight was the staff, they were all quite friendly and ready to help but with prices in the range of they are, I expect the order to be correct the first time."

"Appetizers and salads fair at best and overpriced. Steaks are expensive but as good as any of the top steakhouses. Eat outside weather permitting and get a great views of the water. Hostess did not listen to me that I had a reservation (not too crowded so we were seated immediately) so it initially looked like I was an Open Table no show. Service began poorly but did improve after we ate our appetizers."

"Went to Bond 45 on Sunday for my birthday brunch. We had a group of 6 plus a baby. Unfortunately, the weather messed up our plan to sit outside and we had to sit inside. They sat us at a table that was in the middle of service area and it felt like we are sitting in a hallway. We dont't really go out that often and I really wanted this day to be special. Unfortunately that table location was not. The restaurant was empty, by the way, but they could not offer us any tables that were better suited for a party of 6. I thought it was very odd. They had a big, full of light terrace with all empty tables , but when I asked to sit there, they said that tables were only good for a group of four. Not really accomodating. I wanted to leave."

"Excellent food. Service not what you would expect when spending $40 plus per steak. This is no Ruth Chris or Morton's; however, the price is quite consistent with these restaurants. The waitor was nice enough; however, he had more table than I would expect in a fine dining establishment. His basic knowledge of the restaurant was lacking-- did not know the difference between medium rare and rare (had to look at the menu)."

"While I enjoed my visit I felt the staff should do a better job at printing out the reservation list during the evening. I was not gted at the door in a manner accostomed and the list provided was with reservations at 4pm. In other wards no on checked to update the list and as such I had no reservation and was treated as a walk in. The mamanger just passed the buck to the lady in charge of reservations and should have stepped up to ask for my name and check rather than go along with the excuse that it was ok they were not busy. I use Open table because I want to feel special when I arrive not as a walk in without any reservaton"

The salad was the best part of the whole meal, which is not saying much."

"Took my wife on a date night. Delicious food and excellent customer service. Would of been nice if they offered a military discount or if we had a view of the harbor. Spent $240 (including tip) on a dinner for two. Would consider going back if they offered a military discount like most restaurants on the harbor. However, most likely will spend that money on a different fancy restaurant. If you want to have a delicious meal and enjoy excellent customer service, this restaurant is for you."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our steaks, mozzarella salads and sides. The Veal Parmigiana chop was huge: pounded flat and served parmigiana style. broccoli rabe side is really creamed broccoli, but very tasty. Wine list was small, but had some good wines and some value. Steaks were a couple dollars overpriced, but no biggie. Service (Ty) was superb, especially since there were two banquets of 100 and 50 people at the restaurant. Unique number of bon-in cuts; I had the Filet and colleagues had the Ribeye. Mozzarella was creamy and excellent; it's clearly a specialty of the house. We were on a veranda with great view of National Harbor sunset."

"Fabulous, fabulous experience!The staff was extraordinarily warm and welcoming. So attentive, too! Particularly with respect to our need for gluten-free choices--they went above and beyond securing information from the chef to accommodate our needs. The meal was scrumptious with no detail overlooked. A terrific value for the quality of the food and beverage, location and service. The asparagus soup was especially memorable! The conservatory was delightful, and we hope to be able to return on a summer evening to enjoy the lights and harbor view."

"Wonderful surprise after being attracted by the promise of a mozzarella bar. The popover was flaky and so tasty. Waiter suggested adding linguini to the seafood appetizer and this made a spectacular lighter dinner. Can't wait to return."

"We went to dinner on Easter Sunday. I was disappointed that two entrees that I was interested in were sold out. The waiter noted that because it was Easter Sunday they were especially busy and sold out on these two popular entrees. My thought is you know it is going to be busy, why would you not stock up on entrees that are especially popular on one of the busiest days for dinner out of the year. Secondly, we had a 4:30pm reservation which is not terribly late in the day, really no excuse for a restaurant the caliber of Bond 45 to be sold out of not one, but two entrees."

"Overall, it was very good. Must have been the atmosphere that night, but it was extremely noisy. The hostess was not at the front, which caused confusion as to whom to ask for seating wait time or reservations. The entrance is not meant for waiting, so as you walk in, it appears to be a club vs a restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, its very nice and the staff was very friendly."

"My husband and I dined at Bond 45 for our wedding aniversery and we couldn't have been more pleased with the overall service and food. Great ambiance, friendly wait staff and melt in your mouth steaks. Our only compalint would be that when they use the word "generous" portion it really does not fully discribe just how generous your meal is going to be, we had a wonderful lunch the next day."

"This was our first visit to Bond 45. Greeted at the door with chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven while we waited for our table. The service was very attentive, but we felt a little rushed-plates were taken away too quickly. The bread plate was taken before the meal without asking, even though it was still heaping. Shame, I wanted to try a brioche!They also (unsuccessfully) tried to take the appetizers away with plenty of food remaining, same w/ dinner dishes. The steak was perfect, but frutti di mare is very spicy-worked for me, might not for others. Sides are a nice size, can be shared. The complimentary lemoncello drinks for adults and lemonade/cotton candy for our child was very nice. Overall, a nice experience, good ambiance."
