"First - we had an AWESOME server. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. However, that was the highlight of the meal. The veal shank and the short ribs both were extremely bland. Furthermore, I would bet what the meal cost that each was stuck in a microwave before they were served to us. The butternut squash soup appetizer was decent, but nothing special. A disappointing trip, and definitely not worth the money."

"It's easy to drive right by the Parker Hotel and not see it, but once you navigate the driveway, you'll find you are in a world apart. Inside the building the dark curtain parts to reveal a step back into the 1970s in decor, music and art. This place is wonderful! We were fortunate to be there on a slow night and had impeccable service and wonderful food. Portions were large. This is definately a special occasion type of place as the prices are high, but we truly enjoyed our evening."

"There are many upscale/hip restaurants in PS .... and Mister Parker's is part of that list.
Really good food, attentive service as well as an intimate bar (next door).
However, the dining room at Mister Parker's is dark. As in, REALLY DARK."

"Mister Parker was a nice surprise. The space is cool and has a good vibe. The dark room is in stark contrast to the lobby and feels like you're stepping back into the 1970's. The food was quite good and the service was attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves and will go back the next time we're in Palm Springs."

"The atmosphere, crowd, and service were edgy and cool without any attitude. The art and lighting indicate that you are in for a special treat. The fresh bread and butter-warm and delicious but that's were the intrigue fizzled. Our main courses were, to put it plainly (pun intended) a bit bland. I ordered the gnocchi with pureed butternut squash-the gnocchi had zero flavor along with the drizzle of squash. My husband ordered the salmon and neither of us remembered what he had for dinner five minutes after it was over. For dessert we ordered the creme brulee trio (coconut, white chocolate, and vanilla (I think); they all tasted exactly the same. We will come again but we will ask the server for recommendations next time."

"This is a really cool place for drinks and dinner. It is located within a resort and you have to do Valet parking. By 7:30 Friday night the place was packed with people of all ages having a great time. Nice selections for wines by the glass, and the mixed drinks at the table next to us looked very tasty. All the waitstaff were efficient and not at all intrusive. They provide little flashlights for reading the menu since it is dark in the restaurant. Just the right amount of checking water glasses, wine, how the meal was etc... The decorations and art work are eclectic and fun. The background music playing was a mixture of late 60s thru the 70s tunes."
