"The menu is pretty extensive, especially for their lunch options, but for the price, the food was only adequate. The staff was friendly but definitely off their game. When we arrived, there was no one in the main dining room so they sat us in the side hallway. While the table had a great view of the water, we felt cramped and were a bit perturbed that we were being sat there while the main room dining room sat empty. About 30 minutes after we arrived, a 40+ person party entered the main room and suddenly the service came to a halt. The bus boy was spot on making sure our water was filled, etc. but we had 0 attention from our waiter. Not what I'ld expect from Schwartz brothers."

"Our group of ten were seated towards the back of the restaurant looking over the water. This is one of the best views I've ever had at restaurant. Sea planes taking off and landing, boats sailing by... very cool. Our server, Aaron, was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgable and efficient. Clearly a pro. From appetizers to dinner, our food was fantastic. Their wine list is rock solid. Overall, the best restaurant experience of our three day visit to Seattle. Thank you!"

"My boyfriend and I went out for dinner to celebrate my new job. We sat out on the patio and watched the sun set while I ate one of the most perfectly cooked steaks I've ever had. We were the last customer to leave the patio area (by an hour or so) and the wait staff continued to be polite and never once made us feel rushed. Will definitely be going back for more celebrations and just because :)"

"My girlfriend and I have gotten in the habit of ordering a bunch of appetizers instead of entrees. That worked really well here. Crab cakes and tuna tartare were both good, but the Crab Rockefeller was the real killer. It's a huge plate with big chunks of crab, a buttery sauce, and plenty of bacon bits. So big and rich that it would be hard for one person to finish. Highly recommended."

"I took my parents and aunt and uncle to Chandler's Crabhouse for Mother's Day brunch. First of all, it is in a beautiful spot on South Lake Union. The view is terrific. We were seated in a smaller area of the restaurant where there were only four large tables. The atmosphere in this room was quiet and intimate. We could actually hold a conversation at normal voice levels which is rare for Mother's Day brunches. The food was excellent. The coffee was fresh. The seafood, as expected, was incredibly fresh and impeccably prepared. The waitstaff was attentive and accommodating. We never found ourselves looking for or waiting for service. Highly recommended as an upscale (but not overly fancy) dining spot."

"After an issue back in September, we decided to give Chandler's another chance after speaking with the management. We had dinner here on Saturday evening. The evening was so nice we asked for a table outside and we got one with a great view of Lake Union. The view was absolutely amazing! The appetizer was great, and the main courses were even better. The crab legs and the truffled potatoes wedges were great! Chandler's definitely redeemed themselves. We look forward to making this one of our dinning destinations this summer!"

This is a high-end, fairly expensive restaurant. If budget is tight, try happy hour specials - 3 pm to closing each day. Outdoor patio would be fabulous on a hot summer day."

"We went there as a group of 6 for my son's 21st birthday. We were a little early and got right in to a great table right next to the big window with a view of the water. It took quite awhile before our server welcomed us, and then was very slow throughout the night. The food that everyone got they said was amazing. My son got the lobster tail and it was huge. He also got an oyster appetizer that he said was good as well. I got the seared ahi, which while it was a generous portion and had good flavor, it was really dry. I felt that because the service was so slow, it probably sat in the window for awhile. We were going to order dessert, but since we were already almost 2 hours into the dinner we decided to skip it."

"I went twice. The first time was so good that I went back with my husband. The second time the portions were very small, hardly any crab in the pot pie, just flavor. It was such a disappointment. The first meal I had there the pot pie was loaded with crab. They ran out of the key lime pie, which was also excellent the first time. The did not substitute a different desert, and we didn't want ice cream or sherbert. They did give us a rain check for the key lime pie though.

"My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week. We ordered the Ceviche and Whiskey Crab soup for appetizers which both lacked flavor. The soup tasted watered down. For entrees we ordered the Fettucine and Crab Pot Pie. The Fettucine also had no flavor except the shrimp-- which was just salty. The Crab Pot Pie was nothing special. The only thing I really enjoyed was the Spiced Banana Caramel ice cream and Blueberry Lemon sorbet. We also ordered the Truffle Fries off the regular menu which they served to us burnt."

"We actually opted for the Happy Hour in the bar. Our waitress was awesome & gave us some great suggestions for food. My husband had not been here before so it was a nice way to try out the menu. And it all looked so good on the menu. We wanted to try the Crab Mac & Cheese but the waitress told us to wait until after we ate what we had already order. So glad she did, because we were full and just had enough room for dessert. We asked another employee what they suggested for dessert & he suggested the Key Lime Pie. It was so amazing. It'll be hard not to order that when we come back. Thank you so much for a great experience~ mmmmmmmmmmm"
