Daniels' Broiler in Bellevue is located on the 21st floor of the Bank of America Building. Spectacular views of the Cascade Mountains and Lake Washington are available from every table.
Daniel's Broiler is the only major Seattle steakhouse serving USDA Prime Beef exclusively.
"Would have rated the food outstanding except the appetizers were just average. Breaded artichokes and BBQ prawns were nothing special. The entrees were outstanding. Service was very, very good."

"What a great experience! We had a window table on a sunny evening...pleasant, personable staff, extensive wine list, fresh local oysters, mouthwatering steaks, and to-die-for lobster mashed potatoes. Very expensive evening but worth every penny!"

"We've been to Daniel's on several occasions and the one constant is coming away feeling like the experience is over priced. Two of us had the Halibut special which was rather bland, certainly not memorable and at $42 was disappointing. Service as usual was excellent and the views from this building top restaurant are beautiful. Despite the prices it is still a busy restaurant so I guess there is no incentive to review their pricing strategy."

"I have to thank Alex again for excellent service, our only send back was for a steak that wasn't quite done. It came back perfect. This was our third time at Daniel's Broiler, and was better than our second time, but not quite as good as the first. The second time my girlfriend had a small chunk of cork in her glass of white wine. We always go at 7 pm on May 3rd for the view of the sunset on our anniversary, so it was quite easy to see (fortunately it's been sunny all three times). I don't recall what else wrong with the second time, but my review from last year is probably no longer applicable. We're looking forward to going again next year. The food and service are excellent and the drinks are strong. We got what we paid for."

"I've eaten here many times and like it quite a bit. I don't know if the issue was that we sat at the bar during happy hour and ordered from the dinner menu, or just an off night. Girlfriend was told salmon was simply grilled and it arrived potato crusted. Sent it back and received overcooked, bland replacement. My steak was fine but I'd expect no less. Bussers repeatedly and awkwardly asked "do you have more food coming?" each time they cleared an appetizer plate - just check the computer or ask our server in the future."

"Daniel's restaurant in Bellevue and Lake Union is the perfect restaurant to treat out of town guests to a delicious steak, great service, and wow them with the view. Daniel's is the perfect restaurant to close the deal. Highly recommended."

"The only thing that was discouraging was that we requested a window seat for a special occasion and none were available. Considering there were families dining with kids/infants that did have a nice window view, I think it was sad that the view was lost on those that probably didn't care. Not to mention we invited some friends that had never been to DB before and we were stuck in a booth that leaves little room between you and the table. Not horrible, but not the ultimate experience for a $350 dinner."

"What a fantastic discovery....Daniel's Broiler was fantastic....everything from the amazing steaks, to the creamy rich lobster bisque, to the bread, and the desserts! The wine list is extensive, and I found a domestic pinot gris that tasted like it was from Italy! We celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday, and they even brought her a dessert plate with a candle, all the while accommodating my other daughter's severe food allergies. It was a wonderful evening, with wonderful service, and great weather gave us a stunning view of downtown Seattle and the Space Needle."

"My wife and I were given a $100 gift card to Daniels and so we made reservations the day-of online. With salmon, halibut, two salads and four cocktails, the bill came to $175ish including tip. The service is good, the location is good (parking is validated), and the new outdoor seating is fantastic with good weather. We had great weather and the view was wonderful. We are a gluten free couple so they accommodated that really well."

"We ordered "Crispy" calamarie and had to send it back because it wasn't close to being crispy and the second time around wasn't much better. We also had to send 2 of the steaks back for a little more "heat". We had ordered them medium and they came medium rare."

"The staff were friendly and available most of the time. As the night went on and tables emptied getting attention was difficult.
The appetizer and dessert were excellent.
The entrée was a disappointment. Daniels is known for steak. I ordered a medium cooked house Filet. It came almost raw. They cooked it some more, but was still undercooked for my liking. My wife had been waiting 10 minutes with her food in front of her by this time, so let it ride. I left more than 50% of the steak. I expressed that I did not find it to my liking, but was not offered a refund. We did get a "free" dessert.
Overall, we had a fantastic view, quiet corner and some great food. Steak and service were a little disappointing. Not value for money."

"Head and shoulders over Ruth Chris. My wife had lobster tail, I had rib eye, and both were excellent. The noise level is fine, we could hear each other without difficulty in the booth. The prices are a bit steep even for fine dining so its not a place we could frequent. However its still a very pleasant experience. It is always fun to get away from the chain experience."

"We were celebrating my husband's birthday and wanted a memorable dinner. Daniel's always comes through. From appetizers and drinks, to the salad, to the meals, then to coffee after, with a surprise molten chocolate cake for my husband's birthday, the meal was perfect. I am very picky about steak, and the Filet Mignon was done exactly as I like. Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing evening."

The waiter asked how my husband wanted his pork cooked. my husband responded "how ever the chef prefers it." so after a while wait we got our meals and the waiter asked my husband to cut the pork and see if it was done ok and it was over cooked the waiter shined a flash light on it and he was all its great! Dont get me wrong the place was was great! the food was way over priced and not good. bummer."

"The server was impersonal, reciting the pitch about great steaks as fast as he can, and highlighting the items on the menu with a small flash light along the way. Steaks covered in charcoal black - not really how we like it. Flavors of sides were ok.
We have been deciding between Morton's in Seattle that we like, or trying Daniel's that we have not been to before. We are definitely going to choose Morton's next time."

"My wife and I had reservations for the restaurant, at arrival our table wasn't quite ready so we found a table in the bar. We then decided to eat in the bar as the view was great and the service overall was very good as well. Our issue was the quality of food that you would expect to receive at a restaurant as fine as Daniel's. In the past we have had generally only completely positive experiences. This time we received rare food, cold sauce with an appetizer, and the smallest oysters I have ever seen plated anywhere. To which we learned they knew they were small, but still they served them and gave us 1 oyster when we complained. At this point I can clearly say this was way less than we expected overall from Daniel's."

"The bar was great, friendly bartenders, happy hour food, great, but expensive. Dining room, slow, didn't get water for about fifteen minutes, bread after salad was served. Waitress friendly but kinda out of it. Prime rib was served med rare, but real tough and salty, had a big piece of fat in the middle of it. Hard to cut. Lobster mashed was offered, as a choice, but didn't mention it cost $6 more. So didn't like that. Over all Daniel's is not up to par anymore, rather go to John Howie, if I'm going to spend the money. Mailing in comment card also."

"My husband and I went to Daniel's Broiler for our 5th wedding anniversary, the waiter right away wished us a happy 5th Wedding anniversary and they presented us with a very delicious desert on the house. Great service, great view and it was raining so we will be back to see that view in the sunshine. The hotel garage was open for free parking."

"Have been going to Daniel's Broiler for fourteen years for both business and family functions. My wife and I just went there for our twenty-second wedding anniversary. Made reservations through OpenTable and requested window seating. The hostess confirmed this when we came in and we were treated to an excellent view. My wife has food allergies and we are finicky about food. Our server, Todd, was very accommodating. Our water glasses were always full without asking for refills. I drink lots of water and this is a benchmark for me as on how attentive the staff is. My wife’s filet did come in a little overdone. When brought to Todd’s attention he immediately apologized, took it back without issue, and kept us updated on the replacement."

"The size and presence of the steak and potato I had ordered were great! However, the steak was a little tough to chew and I had to keep flagging down the waiter/waitress to get additional toppings for my potato. I also ran out of water in my water glass. Our waitress seemed a little missing at times. I don't think I will return for a steak dinner."

"This was me and my wife's first visit to Daniel's Broiler. We loved the scenery, the atmosphere of the bar and the restaurant, the polite and helpful staff and of course the food. I've never been in a restaurant where I was treated as well as I was on Saturday. Our waiter, Roy, was outstanding. He spent time answering all of our questions and made sure we had everything we wanted and more. I will definately recommend this location to my friends and family. We can't wait to come back!"

"We have been Daniels fans but our last 4 visits have steadily gone down in both food and service. Our meal last night was actually poor as the salad was the best part of the meal. Our bread was incredibly dry and stale, the waitress said that was understandable due to the time of day. One of our steaks was fine but the other was burned/heavy char. The asparagus was over cooked and watery as well.
The wait staff seemed to be going through the motions and really didn't time the full meal when we were just half way through our salads.
All in all we weren't very impressed and have had many of our success moments celebrated at Daniels, we will be trying somewhere near in the future."
