"It was my wifes 26 golden Birthday (very specail day, one once in a life time) and the staff made it great front the time we walked in the door till we walked out. "Daniel's Leshi is a gem. The remodel has made it so romantic and the perfect place for a dinner with your sweetheart. The food is outstanding, everything we had was great. The service was attentive but not overly so. The atmosphere and view is serene.........I love this place!"

"We made a dinner reservation for 6:00 p.m., a little early perhaps for "dining" on a Friday night, but still an hour that is the "dinner hour". Whoa, what a mistake that was for "dining" at Daniel's Broiler at Leschi!

NOTE to self...and anyone who reads this review: Do NOT make a dinner reservation before 7:30 p.m. at Daniel's Broiler...since it is SO LOUD due to raucous partiers for Daniel's "Happy Hour". Happy hour is supposed to end at 6:30 but the tables reserved for Happy Hour didn't clear out until 7:30 p.m...when finally our splitting eardrums were given a rest! (If you like a party, go to Happy Hour at Daniel's!)

Great food, great service...just don't go to Daniel's Broiler to dine before 7:30 p.m.!"

"I dined at Daniel's on Leschi on Saturday Feb 13th at 6:30pm. The ambiance was fantastic and the view was amazing as it sat right on the water. The food and drinks were delicious (a bit overpriced as the prices were comparable to El Gaucho, yet the food was not up to El Gaucho's standards). My only issue was that the service was certainly not what I would expect for a $250 bill. I had to ask for a second margarita and then had to wave down the server after 20 minutes to ask him if the drink would be on it's way. Also, after we declined dessert, we were no longer offered any further drinks-the check was just brought out. Yes, it was busy, but certainly not busy enough to warrant below average service, especially considering the prices."

"We had a great time at Daniel's Broiler on Valentine's Day. The staff was all very friendly, great atmosphere and great views. We had swordfish and prime rib. The lobster mashed potatoes were amazing, sinful!! We finished off sharing the Valhrona chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. That one is always a winner. It was a very festive evening. Of all the Daniel's, we enjoy the Leschi location the most. Tough to get to but so, so worth it! I'm looking forward to our next visit."

"This place does great steak, beautifully cooked. Fantastic views over Lake Washington. Excellent Maitre d'. Not a cheap night out, but we have always had a good time. A great venue to take older visitors from out of town (we previously took English friends with teenagers - didn't work)."

"My wife and I had a wonderful experience for our 43rd wedding anniversary. My wife is in a wheelchair and as a result of my on-line reservation they already knew and were ready for us. Our waiter, Adam, was outstanding. He took the time to explain everything and answered all our questions.

"Took my girlfriend here for New Years eve and had a great dinner everything was as it should be... except on thing... ordered ribeye but got sirloin... now i like em both a lot but i wanted ribeye. I do understand that the place was packed and they where super busy and mistakes happen so i didnt raise a stink, because like i said it was super good regardless. been here before and will go here again."

"Great service, staff members are very attentive. Wonderful ambience, beautiful view of Lake Washington. But we all come for the food, the food was a major let down, is it possible to burn a rare steak? My "Delmonico" was so charred and burnt that I couldn't eat more than a few pieces! To sum it up, they brought me another steak, same result, if you like steaks that taste burnt and charred, this is your place. Kinda expected more satisfaction from a $180.00 dinner bill."

"The food was good. However, I felt that none of the dishes were seasoned enough and the fish that I ordered (Black Cod) could you have been cooked a little harder as it was a little mushy. Service was good considering the amount of people that were in the resturant on New Year's Eve. I was glad that I was seated in the "private dining" area as the main dining room was a bit noisy. I'd like to go back and give it another try on a evening when it might not be so busy."

"We love Daniel's at Leschi & visit fairly often, so I know that our New Year's Eve experience was an anomaly. We arrived right at our 9pm reservation time & ended up waiting almost 40 min for our table, which was disappointing. We probably could have been seated a few min earlier if we were willing to sit at a regular table, but I had asked for a booth so the wait continued. Our waiter was also far more interested in chatting with other tables that had larger parties--he took our order and checked in on us a few times but almost every part of our meal was brought to our table by other servers. We still had a lovely dinner but not the best experience we've had there. Hopefully we'll have a better time at our anniversary dinner next month!"

The waitress was great about coming up with an impromptu pasta dish that was delicious and allowed all to enjoy a wonderful meal. The special attention, congratulations from numerous staff to the graduate and the celebratory dessert were all nice touches."

"The food is amazing!! The best steak I've ever had. We will definitely go back, HOWEVER, if you go, give yourself LOTS of time..we had a group of 6 and it took us an hour and half to get our food. Service is good, but we were disappointed at the lack of urgency. When we told our server we needed our dessert to go and our check as we had a car service that had arrived to pick us up, it still took 40 minutes. My husband talked with the staff as he left and they indicated they were having computer problems, while i appreciate that, it should not bring a highly rated restaurant to a stand still."
