"On Mother's Day, with reservations and despite many empty tables, we were required to wait while a table was reset. The manager was dressed more casually than most of the patrons and displayed limited social skills. We have been fans of Luigi's since they opened, but something has changed (less day to day involvement by the owner?). Each time we've returned over the past two years, the service, from quality of greeting, to attentiveness of waitstaff, to promptness of food delivery, has declined. The only thing that has increased has been the prices, up an average of 25% over the past two years (ex: Pecan Crusted Chicken, previously $14.00, now $18.00). Will Luigi's become just another college town restaurant? What a shame!"

"Came here after spending the weekend in College Station for my cousin's graduation and wanted to take my mother out for brunch. Very nice atmosphere. The brunch menu isn't extensive (only on Sundays, as well) but everyone agreed the food was great. Fresh eggs and vegetables in the fritatta. Bloody Maries were also great. I'm not an expert on College Station dining, nor do I frequent the place much, but if in the city again, I would like to try this place for dinner and would advise others to do the same."

"I love the decor! It truly feels like you're sitting outside on a patio. The food is also quite good. We had a group of 9, and there were several groups larger than us there, but everybody had their own space. It didn't even feel like there were other people there!"

"We enjoyed Easter Brunch at Luigi's and would definately recommend the restaurant. We have a high standard for food and don't give big compliments very often. While the service left a bit to be desired (the waiter did inform us he had just finished his training), the food was worth the trip. The bread with the garlic spread was very good, as well as the salad that comes with each entree. We orderd the red snapper, whitefish and the grilled chicken with grilled eggplant. The snapper and chicken were really good dishes. I would order the snapper again without hesitation. The whitefish was bland. The rice and grilled vegetables that came with the meal were also very good. We didn't order dessert, but there was a nice menu selection."

"Nice ambiance; you have the choice of sitting in the formal dining room or the "outdoor" patio, which is actually inside but looks like it's outside. Very nice atmosphere, we chose "outside". The service was excellent and the food amazing. I could have eaten the bread as my dinner and been happy but the chicken parm (the one with eggplant slices) was a great choice. My wife enjoyed the Linguini alle Vongole Veraci (clams). For dessert we had the tiramisu and the chocolate tiramisu. Very tasty and my wife had a terimasu drink and I had a cafe latte, both tasted great! The bottle of wine was great with the meal. Also live music (jazz) began at 7pm which was excellent. It was a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion."

"My wife and I visited Luigi's and found it to be quite lovely. The patio dining set up was quite refreshing. The only thing missing would be the lack of an occasional breeze and watching a sunset. The menu was very nice, with many different options: Pasta, fish, seafood, pizzas, soups, and many more. The wine list seems to be built around the menu very well and my wife was pleased with her selection. There are a wide range of price points which are comparable to other local fine dining establishments. We will definitely be returning..."

"The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the live band. We don't mind paying well for great food but the food really wasn't anything to write home about. It was actually lacking flavor so I wouldn't recommend the place for foodies; however, the atmosphere made it a great date spot. We might go back.
Specifically, the tables are too close together on the South end of the restaurant. Also, for the price, they should really pay closer attention to detail. Our candle was out when we arrived and the waiter had to be prompted to re-light. Then I realized that my date was missing a fork. I ordered the lamb chops w/ veggies & garlic mashed potatoes, but the potatoes didn't come. The waiter explained to me it was a typo on the menu. :("

"Loved the atmosphere and live jazz music. Food was wonderful. Online registration was great. The negatives that my wife and I experienced were as follows: no waiter or waitress came to greet us or get us a glass of water for 25 minutes upon arrival. When the waitress did come, she quickly apologized but we could tell she was insincere. Service of food took longer than expected. This was our first time to Luigi's, so we hope this was a one time thing. We will be back again due to the amazing atmosphere and food."

"So we used to go there every anniversary , I booked the table online ad usual for 7:30 and arranged with a baby sitter! A day before and every thing seamed to be right, I got I phone call in the morning saying I'm sorry there was a system error and we do not have a table @ 7:30 and only 5:30 is available!!!!!! I tried to tell the person that can not be! But he was calling Un prepared !!!!After I explained to him , he said that it is ok I will get you a table @ 8:30, I did not have another choice .We went on time, did not find the dish I wanted there were out !!! "Ive had two lovely dinners with my fiancee in Luigi's and I can definetely say they were wonderful. The restaurant feels very formal in its design and its prices are very acceptable for the quality of the food you get. Live music brings a very romantic vibe to the restaurant. This is not to say that you shouldnt go in groups as it is also a very great place to dine with friends. Highly recommend it for special occasions to preserve the vibe of the restaurant."

"Was there on a Sunday night for my son's 20th birthday. Food was good, but not great. And service was great until the last ten minutes when we were told we had to leave because the Auburn swim team was coming in and they needed every table. We were finishing our desserts when the team arrived and immediately surrounded us. Management made it clear that we had to leave, so we were rushed out the door while the athletes glared at us. It was fairly rude. Had they told us coming in that we had a deadline, it wouldn't have been so bad."

"I really enjoyed everything the hole experience except for a couple of things. When me and my girlfriend first arrived for our 9pm appointment at 8:58 it took someone 5-6 mins to even notice us. It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but it was our first time their and we felt really uncomfortable not knowing weather we were suppose to seat ourself or not. Once we were seated our table was literally a 2x3 foot table where out plates would bearly fit it was pretty uncomfortable. Our waitress did do an amazing job and the food was fabulous with a great atmosphere we loved it. We will definitely visit again because of that I just hope we get a little bit bigger table next time."

"Didn't honor my Open Table reservation even thoough I was there early and waited. The bad thing was the manager came out and told the hostess to tell us we'd have to wait another 2 hours while we were sitting six feet away. Didn't talk to us, didn't offer an apology, didn't offer an excuse, didn't even talk to us. The embarrassed hostess was left with the burden."
