"We live in Central MA, and hit local restaurants most weekends. This is BY FAR the best restaurant we have found in the area and we eat at Chloe's at least once a month. The ambience is great -- funky and creative decor, live jazz music most weekends (but not too loud, more in the background). This place is a gem! The menu is small, but constantly changing -- I'll get the salmon dish one week and the next time I go it is prepared completely differently -- in a good way. Everywhere else we go within a fifteen mile radius we say, "This is good, but nothing like Chloe's!" And so we keep coming back. The hostess is great and 99% of the servers are great. The chef is obviously awesome."

"We go here at least once a month. Went here before kid and after. The food has always been extraordinary. They do a great job of changing up the menu on a regular basis. The décor changes frequently enough as does the seating configuration. Great bar and when they have music it fits in really well with the restaurant and does not overwhelm it. Hostess and wait staff is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly."

"We've been to Chloe's many and liked it very much, but this time was a bit disappointing. The menu hasn't changed in a while and seems suited to the winter, not spring--heavy meat dishes with root vegetables. I had cod and it was dried out. It was very busy the night we went and I think our server did her best, but we did wait for a while after we were seated and nobody even made eye contact. The rolls came out after the salad which was a mistake."

"We've eaten at Chloe's several times and have always had a great experience. The hostess is friendly and immediately sets the tone for a relaxed and comfortable evening. The food was delicious, prepared to our specifications and served at a pace that allowed us to enjoy our meal and one another's company. The server, Jennifer, was professional, personable and helpful. I highly recommend the escargot...tender, not too much garlic, delicious every time. While foodies will enjoy this place, the stuffy may want to look elsewhere. This is more "in-town favorite spot" than "posh city dining establishment." There was jazz in the bar area, some great specials, and a nice selection of desserts. We'll be back!"

"This was our first time at this delightful place with great ambiance. We went on a Friday night, so there was a jazz band playing in the bar area, which was a nice bonus. The food was excellent. "We were quite happy with our overall experience. There was a jazz trio playing in the bar area that added to the ambience w/o making it hard to have conversation (had we been sitting much closer to them that would be a different story, but they played well; we enjoyed it). The waitress was pleasant & knowledgeable. We ordered one salad, two "slates", one entree, one dessert and an espresso. My husband got some kind of interesting beer and I ordered a $10 glass of wine from a somewhat limited wine-by-the-glass menu, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived with a small carafe as well, making it a pour and a half. Food was very good. Only little glitch was bread came immediately before the appetizers. (No big deal.)"

"First time and loved all of it! We were a party of 4 starting with a primo pear martini followed by a nice French pinot. Best steak I have ever had - cooked go perfection and melted in my mouth. The desserts were amazing! Most times when you have a great meal you end up with some frozen desserts but these were fabulous! Thanks for a great meal - will definitely be back."

"This was our second visit to Chloe's. Great little place. Expect a long wait, even with reservations. Take the opportunity to enjoy an old fashioned cocktail at the bar - My sazerac was well-prepared and quite strong. My wife raved about the pear tini. i ordered veal and my wife the proscuitto-wrapped cod. The veal was good, although somewhat over cooked. The cod was excellent - the proscuitto and capers added a perfect note to the fish.
We shared Pineapple upside down cake for dessert. Good caramel sauce - cake a tad too rich. Cappuccino was spot on.
Well worth it."

"We went to the Victor Hugo wine dinner, and it was outstanding. Every one of the five courses was delicious: tender,perfectly cooked sea scallops,delicious duck breast (always one of Chloe's best dishes), a perfect filet matched with THE best short rib I've ever had,a selection of unusual cheeses, and molten chocolate cake that was moist and incredibly chocolatey. The timing of the service was spot-on. Chloe's is always enjoyable, but this was a perfect evening. Get on Chloe's email list for notice of these dinners -- you won't regret it."

"Chloe's is a very quaint little restaurant. For a small restaurant, they have designed their space well, so one does not feel cramped. The service was great and the food is excellent. They offer a wonderful selection of gourmet type fresh food. The presentation of the food is excellent. We were there on a Saturday night and the bar area was filled. They had a group of musicians who were playing. It was nice to hear them in the background as we designed. They've done a nice job separating the bar area from the dining area. I highly recommend this tiny restaurant."

"We went to dinner here with friends this past Saturday. Jazz band was wonderful and the restaurant was vibrant and fun. The menu had just been changed by the Chef and we each ordered something different - everyone seemed really pleased with their choices.
We did end up waiting 45 minutes after our reservation before we were seated, which is really uncomfortable in the bistro because there was no place to wait so we were literally standing in the middle of the bar, in the way, with our hats and coats on waiting. So, I'm not sure if we will go back again. The food is excellent but there's good food at a lot of other neighborhood bistro's where you can get seated when you're supposed to. The management needs to work on that."

They got it wrong this time around. I was really hoping for much better since it was Valentine's! "So glad I decided to make a reservation because it seems we would have waited at least an hour to be seated otherwise. This was our second visit to Chloe and we were just as impressed as we were on our first visit. Chloe is a small and quaint restaurant. They take advantage of all space available to them and they are very creative in their decorating to create the comfortable ambiance that they have. The food was fantastic and the rose given to my guest was "just right" for the occasion. The hostess had her hands full with everyone coming and going, some with reservations and some without, but she had that "service with a smile" attitude and look that made everyone waiting feel comfortable. We'll definitely visit again."

"NEVER...A let down ! Cozy and comforting with a really wonderful staff that makes you feel at home. They offer some wonderful cocktails and seasonal appropriate drinks, great beer offerings. The four of us cleaned our plates, had desert and a after dinner drink! Going back on Thursday night for burgers! We were most impressed with the fact that they opened just after the snow stopped falling in a blizzard and the restraunt was pretty busy. Oh, and did i mention the great service ~ Thank you Lisa"

"We've been here several times and always have a wonderful meal. Only complaint is that food came too quickly -- we like to relax a bit with our drinks before the meal comes. I had the mushroom ristotto, my husband had the prosciutto wrapped cod. Both were delicious!"

"We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends. The food was excellent. I had the duck which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the salmon which he enjoyed thouroughly. Our server was very conscientious but did not rush us. All in all we enjoyed the evening. There was only one issue. When we arrived on time for our reservation the hostess was missing in action. We waited 5 minutes or more for her to appear and then our table was not ready. We waited another 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. She did not invite us to sit at the bar , nor apologize for keeping us waiting, she just left us standing in the entry until the table was free. Thank goodness our server was so attentive."

"My second visit to this restaurant. The slate appetizer plates are great, especially for sharing. It is great to have an "upscale" restaurant in the middle of an otherwise unassuming town like Hudson. Prices were also very reasonable"

"Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Chloe, even though a couple of their signature dishes were not offered that evening. Want to give big props to the chef who sent us two appetizers on the house after we were informed the appetizer we had ordered was no longer available. The bread, olives and marinated carrots as starters were terrific. My extra dry martini was excellent with three plump olives."

"Matt Landry, the owner, always makes a terrific meal..changes up the menu somewhat seasonably..but it's great..(Although my husband was DYING for his fabulous bolognese..and he had just taken it off!) We go there on Thursdays for his $10.00 burger and a beer night...You have to get there early..or you'll have to wait for a seat!
