2 Johns presents an elegant fine dining atmosphere with a dark cherry mahogany wood bar, outdoor patio, white tablecloth dining, nightly live grand piano music to set the mood, local artistry, USDA Prime steaks, and all the trimmings of an elegant restaurant. The signature dish is Steak Au Poivre, although the restaurant also features fresh seafood entrées, elaborate desserts, appetizers and several different salads.

"Father's Day Brunch at 2John's was delicious. We were seated very close to the buffet lines, so the "ambience" was not that of the usual quiet night-out dining experience. Our servers were extremely attentive and we enjoyed the delicious variety of foods that were served."

"I took my wife to 2Johns for our 13yr anniversary. I'm so glad I did. The entire experience was absolutely fantastic! The wait staff was top notch. Our entire meal, from appetizer to entrée, was more than I could ask for. I ordered the NY strip and my wife had the filet. My wife's steak was order medium rare and it was perfect! She didn't even need her knife to cut her steak. My strip was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly! I will surely recommend 2Johns to others and I will definitely be making more trip there! Thanks for the great night!"

"Everything was great! The only thing that I would have to point out is in reference to our waiter. He was a very kind person but he was a little too over the top with his open speech. He talked about the food way too much. I think a good server should point out the highlights and maybe get excited about flavor from their own personal experience but when a waiter is over the top about every single thing on the menu it starts to look more like he's trying too hard to sell something. At a restaurant of your potential, everything is good so I think its best to highlight a couple of things and then leave it up to the customers from there to ask questions. He used the same open speech at all the other tables- it was rather comical."

"I took my husband out for his special 50th Birthday dinner and as always had a fabulous meal. The service is outstanding and the food is wonderful, portions are just right and cooked to perfection. "Went to 2Johns for Mother's Day brunch and was not disappointed. This fantastic restaurant did an outstanding job from smoothly moving through seating to serving. It was very crowded but the staff handled it well. The staff was efficient and very friendly. The food was excellent, with a wonderful selection for brunch and it stayed fresh and warm. None of this should be a surprise as this restaurant consistently sets a high bar for a fine dining establishment. I strongly recommend this establishment for any occasion."

"I have eaten at some top restaurants in the U.S. 2 Johns can compete with the best. For starters, you can't beat the shrimp and grits. You feel like your in New Orleans. I had the Redfish in which every bite I had, I treated it like my last, it was that delicious."

"This was our second time to 2Johns in the past two months, so we strayed off our "normal" selections (amazing Au Poivre steak and Steak Oscar) and tried the seafood. We are glad we did. For an appetizer we had a new-to-the-menu smoked salmon salad, which was fantatic. Dinner was a creole redfish and the red creole sause was outstanding. I didn't let a drop go to waste. For dessert, we had the homemade brownie with ice cream and caramel, also new and also a winner. Service was impeccable and one of the Johns came around, as always, to ask about our experience after the meal. Nice personal touch! See you all again, naturally! Thanks."

"I really love the food and atmosphere at 2 Johns. I've been there several times and it is always wonderful. However, this particular time I had placed a special request for the staff (hostess, waiter, etc) to acknowledge my daughter's birthday. Her birthday was the reason we were there. Her only request this year was to have a few of her friends and her go to a fancy restaurant so they could feel sophisticated and grown up. (She is 17) As you can imagine I was not happy when not even one single person in the restaurant throughout the entire evening acknowledged her birthday. I was pretty disappointed. I don't think it's too much to ask for our waiter (who was tipped over 20%) to say happy birthday to a guest."

There was someone who would replace every utensil after you used it for anything. The owner walked around and greeted everyone. The only downside was we waited forever for our drinks to be replaced."

"Disappointing visit. We have been several times and had outstanding service and food previously. On this visit, the waitress was distraced and inattentive. Most of the food was as good as we'd come to expect, but the shrimp bisque was watery and flavorless and the double-order of shrimp and grits, our entrée, had rubbery and overcooked shrimp. Sadly, when we've been before and have spent lots of money - ordering bottles of wine and every course - we have had extremely good service and food. Coincidentally, this occasion when we just wanted to go somewhere nice and pick up a small meal and have a nice place to sit and eat, we were greeted with lackluster service."

"We went for Easter Brunch this time. The experience would have been great except for the lack of organization for the seating process. Very unfair way of seating groups who had been waiting in the entry since before the seating began. We politely stood back as people (many) came in after us and were seated immedietly. We will not go back for Brunch."

"After hearing friends talk about the restaurant I expected more, the service was excelant but the food was average, a big let down. I was diss appointed in the food to say the least. It was also very loud and my wife and I had a hard time hearing each other. I don't know when I will will give them another chance"

"It's sort of in a strange location, the middle of a strip mall but this place is fantastic! I absolutely loved it! I had the mahi mahi which could use a few changes but it was cook perfectly so I give it a major thumbs up.
We had the bbq quail and crab cakes as an appetizer. The crab cakes were amazing, the quail was good as well but I'm just not one for quail.
The shrimp bisque is good and their steaks are fantastic. Overall, a great place to have a nice dinner."

"This was my first visit to 2 Johns for me and the guest I brought with me. We were both very pleased with our overall experience! The ambiance, the food, and the service were all excellant! The only complaint I have is that we both would have liked another glass of wine, but our waiter got so busy with a large group that was seated next to us that he never really came back to check on us to see if we needed anything else..he just brought us the bill. I will definitely be returning again in the near future! I would love to come on a more frequent basis but it is a bit pricy for my budget, but I will be visiting as frequently as I cn afford to!"

"This was our fourth time at 2Johns and for the fourth time in a row, the restaurant did not disappoint. My wife's duck special was amazing, as was my filet au poivre. Calamari appetizer, spinach salad and bread pudding completed our line up. They have a nice wine list, but we prefer bringing our own bottle for special occasions such as this one, and their reasonable $20 corkage fee allows us to do so."
