"Our food and our service were outstanding. The only reason I did not give Cru an outstanding overall was we were seated in a romantic banquette which delighted us at first. Then the four businessmen at the table next to us started their meeting and we heard every word they said and none of what we said to each other. Some kind of funky sound transmission going on in the banquettes. If you want to hear your dining partners opt for a table. Otherwise go experience the "Stacked Ceasar Salad" and the "Herb Crusted Halibut " which was served over a three bean sauté. Both were delightful!"

"We went to cru for my birthday, we have been going to the melting pot for 20 years and I wanted something different. I looked up the menu online first, and loved the choices. I am an appetizer girl. Soooo we ordered the ahi tuna app, spicy crab roll app, and the short rib app. Now the spicy crab roll, was the best (sushi roll) I have ever had, the tuna was great, small but great, the short rib tasted like a regular pot roast to me, good but not 5 star dining. My husband order the filet and loved it and of course we ordered 2 dessert, first was the cheesecake (awesome), second was the norman love sample plate it was good if your a chocoholic, I am 50/50 on that, we will definately go back, for probably appetizers and dessert. Service A+"

"It is always a question of a price/quality/service/ambiance consideration. The food is OK but when you considered the other three factors there is nothing special that would bring me back. In part it had to do with the black on black décor. Paying upscale prices and looking at black ceiling tiles along with black walls...is not the most inviting atmosphere. Service is not very engaging and the food is lacking in anything that would excite your taste buds. Sorry."

"The Cru was recommended to us by the person who organised our vacation home, we were over from Germany. Everything was excellent - our waiter (John), the food, the ambiance, the cocktails and wine. Nothing to complain about, only praise! Will revisit should we return to that area."

"Food was very good but portions are quite small and prices are very high. The noise from the bar area is very distracting. Service is too fast and they turn you over in less than 50 minutes. While food was tasty and good, there are many equally fine restaurants in the area where prices are reasonable, food quality is excellent, and you are not rushed."
