"Im so glad that we made reservation before we went there people are standing in line waiting to be seated. 5:30pm we got there then we sat in our table the server was really nice she gave as what we order and we thought that the food was great but what I didn't like was when we need something like more bread, butter, steak sauce or whatever we need, we couldn't find her or anybody to ask for it. Now when were through with our entrée were ready for our dessert but how can we order for our dessert when we couldn't fine her? We waited for like 15 mins until she came then she was sorry about the wait and she told us that the dessert was free. I don't care if it's free or not I just want the service to be little bit fast. We had a good time tho."

"I visit Chicago at least once a year and always dine at Wildfire when I'm in town. The chopped salad is the best salad around, and the halibut is another favorite. The service is always great. My only complaint is the noise level, so it's best to go when it's not as busy. However, the restaurant is so popular, it's hard to figure out a time that it won't be busy. No matter what, you'll have a great meal!"

"Reservations a must. Busy all the time. Generous portion sizes, but my husband & son in law cleaned their plates! Entree & side were a little on the salty side. Wait staff running all over the place, makes it a little difficult to navigate the aisles. Experience typical of the Lettuce restaurants."

"Welcome was lacking, seated in a empty room where you can hear the employees having a lively conversation. Martini Flight was served in dirty glasses. Son's cottage fries overcooked & hard. Salad looked wilted. Cup of shrimp & crab bisque was cool, calamari was o.k., scallop skewers actually smelled, not fresh, never ordered an entree, waitress never asked which was the only positive, I'm sure the quality would have been the same, poor. I've been to the other Wildfire Restaurants, Oakbrook, Downtown, Schaumburg, experience has always been EXCEPTIONAL.1st time at this location as we were going to the theatre right across. Want to see what Wildfire is all about, go to Oakbrook where they at least know to put a sugar rim on a apple martini."

"After a mediocrity first experience at Wildfire, my husband and I decided to try it again, as so many people speak highly of it.
Unfortunately, again we were disappointed. The portions are large, but the prices are high for the quality of the food.
Additionally, it is so loud (even in the smaller dining room) that we easily heard neighboring tables' conversations.
I don't think we'll be giving this a third chance."

"I have never had bad service before my birthday lunch on Wednesday. First we asked for two lemons in our drink. They came with one. We didn't say anything. Then he took my order for the chopped salad; then he took my friend's order for the angus burger. He first brought my salad with two plates. We never said we wanted to share the salad. He then put the order in for the burger, which took another ten minutes to arrive. My friend told him it was my birthday. When he brought the dessert, he asked who had the b'day. When asked if he was new he said he had been there only 2 or 3 days. He needs a lot more training before he is serving, even at lunch. He was very nice, but that just wasn't enough to cover for his mistakes."

"We have been to this Wildfire before but this time not so good. First we found a bleberry in our shrimp sauce--no big deal. Then my wife gor her cedar planked salmon and not only was the plank burnt to practically carcoal BUT the salmon was bone-dry and shriveled up because it was so well done. Because we had already pointed out the blueberry in the sauce we did not want to complain again."

"My wife had the prime rib and I had a slab of about the best ribs I ever ate! The order of prime rib was the smallest on the menu, but both my wife and I carried food home! The service was excellent. It was Mothers Day and everyone was very busy, but our waitress found tme to give us the service we needed to really enjoy out meal. We will be there again with a group of "Lunch Bunchers" tomorrow. All of us like it well enough to come back on a regular basis."

"The restaurant was elegantly furnished. It has a supper-club feel to it. The wait-staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the specials and the menu. The noise level was moderate. The food was flavorful and well prepared. One hiccup in my dining experience was that I ordered my bone-in ribeye medium-rare, and it came out medium well. However, the I did not have to wait long for the replacement to be served. The waitress was very attentive and came back several times to check on the table. The other hiccup was the desserts took a long time to be served. Once again, the waitress was able to rectify the situation to the table's liking. Overall a very good dining experience despite the few bumps. I would recommend."

"I frequent your restaurants wherever I am. If in the city and looking for a place to visit or host, I select Wildfire. I've frequented Glenview & Chicago locations equally. I love the Glenview location because of its location, free or valet parking is available. I love the ambience. Of course, the food is delicious and carefully prepared. The moment you enter the restaurant, you're greeted cheerfully by everyone and given gratitude by everyone as you leave. The waitress or waiters are polite, patient, kind, and very helpful. All in all everyone puts forth great effort to make your visit an enjoyable one."

"Went on Mother's Day - was zoo-like. Seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. Couldn't have a conversation the noise level was so loud. Servers were clearly overwhelmed, but the food did not suffer from the chaos. Seemed to me the restaurant overbooked for the holiday."

"I have dined here several times before and have been very pleased with my experience. This time was not the case. Our Server was very nice but slow and not attentive. My Filet Wellington was bland, the au gratan potatoes were blah, and the snow peas were warm but raw. My guests Prime rip was very good, but the wild rice was not , since when is there corn in wild rice? We shared dessert, the chocolatechip pan cookie with ice cream on top. It was not baked completely so it was very mushy. I would have said something however I did not want to ruin the evening for my guest."

"Ever since I discovered the Wildfire restaurants about 15 years ago, it has been my favorite place to go for family functions, office holiday parties and personal splurges. As a single mom on a budget, the dependability of the food means that if I decide to take the college-aged son, the preschool nephews, or my girlfriends in book club, we will all leave happy and full. The crew at Wildfire-Glenview is maintaining the great steakhouse/grill tradition while offering just enough adventure to keep the food from being totally boring. Love it!"

"We have been going to Wildfire for many years and have never been disappointed by anything! If a dish has not been right, for whatever reason, they always take it back and get you something you do like. The service is prompt and friendly and we have a favorite waiter who we ask for, if he is available. The bar is a great place to wait for a table also. They have the best cosmos around! Friends and family who are visiting always ask to go to dinner at Wildfire because they loved it last time! I would never hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!"

"Food was disappointing at best, service so so, went on a packed Sat. Night. Wife sent her fish order back, dried out, and my beef Wellington was probably worst I have ever had - seemed old. Cousin liked her pork chops, however. We have been to many better LEYE restaurants."

"I've been there a number of times and always enjoyed it. Not this time, however. The prime rib was tasteless and frankly didn't look like prime rib. It looked like a charred rib eye. I ate hlaf of it anyway, but when the werver asked how everything was, I told her and she had the manager come over. He said it was really prime rib even though it had a char broil finish (ordered medium rare)and suggested that it was perhaps an end cut. He privided a desert plate for the table after a long wait. All three others at the table had plank salmon which all three thought was only fair (one was undercooked. It is likely they had an less than capable chef in the kitchen that night and the manager didn't really handle it well."

"I would say the food is good, not great or outstanding. The prices are outrageous and not warranted given the food quality. You can definitely get the same meal and quality at a much less price as many other eateries. At Wildfire, you pay for the name and the franchise. Our bill was over $500 for a table of 8. Really outrageous. Save your money and go to Jimmies Charhouse or Jamesons Charhouse."
